  • Nice job on the contact! What power were you using? You made the comment that the 75 ft of wire you were using was "No where near resonance"! Google "Random Wire Antennas" and look at the article in Hamuniverse. 73 and good luck on the DX

  • all I see is a red and green light

  • When condx are good, you can work the world on a piece of wire.Still, thats a good contact for QRP.Hope to catch you on the air Mike,73,Don, VO1XH

  • so your thinking its about 75 or is it about 100? What radio were you using to do that? I agree with the last comment. Maybe having some light to see the radio would be nice. Congrats on the contact!

  • can you please turn on a light when you are going to do this because I like being able to see what people use thats how I know what to buy I use this after I look up on eham in see if its worth looking up on here thanks hope to catch you on the air

  • It's funny,I know I have low light in my room and the light level when I view the video on my computer is just barely adequate but for some reason Youtube's compression algorithms really dim it down.

From now on I'll have some light shed near the radio so that camera won't have any issues with light pick up.
