@zandermanandcassymom Actually, that happens when you're using that attack with Marisa. The orbs stay put when you use shift, so when you get a level higher power, if you had moved from where you pressed shift, then the newly gained orb will appear "out of place".

This video is several years old, but the performance here ist still damn awesome.

I also wonder how people complained about that Extra being too easy (compared to, say Imperishable Night's Extra Stage), but it is interesting how this Extra has more survival cards in it than usually in other Extra Stages. Still, this stage is a heavy piece of work for anyone who has not mastered Touhou in any way *cough*.

well, i had a lot of experience at touhou before this, and i probably just got lucky. This stage is pretty hard somehow though, its the only extra stage that i cant beat 100% of the time even though ive done perfect runs, theres a lot of places where its easy to mess up.

I just barely beat Touhou 6 on normal and only got flandre down to her 2nd last spell card. This Extra stage seems highly possible, but it would take a LOT of memorization to find out the tricks you need to use.

But no, i didnt cheat, as you can see my FPS says 60 in the bottom right corner of the scren. And yes theres a lot of memorisation, thats how every extra stage run is in touhou. ive done this stage easily a hundred times before i got this run.

I dont see anything that can look like cheating though, i have a highscore replay thats even better than this as well, i put the link to it in my video description, i can tell you i practiced that one a LOT.

Her final attack is pretty much all skill. Just look above your character and try to find the openings in the pattern, keep your finger ready to bomb whenever it looks bad, but yeah that attack isnt very forgiving, especially on lunatic : P
