I was 1st chair in 9th grade band, and we had to do this piece for a Christmas parent's night concert. I still remember that the first note was Bb....I loved it and remember it to this very day...I"m now 58. SHould have kept up with my woodwind playing, & maybe I wouldn't be in such bad shape with my asthma (breath control) with the clarinet you get fantastic diaphragm control. ♫♪
one thing... i have the exact peice of music for my clarinet and im 12 and i can play it all just really slow.. well not really slow but ya good job... it sounds a lil different from my teachers way.
You practically lift up your entire left hand when you play. I personally play the flute, but I PROMISE you, that is the TERRIBLE habit of a 4th grader.
It looks like you're trying to make it look artistic and go along with the music. I understand clarinetists are upset that they must be deprived of the ability to use vibrato, but please don't make up for it by doing something stupid.
@auroraaborealisss Just from a general point of view music wise, I think most musicians move alot when their playing, yes on certain occasions it gets extremely annoying, but being a clarinet player, I have to admit, you just cant help but do that. If its a piece that your completely just, absorbed in, I dont think you can stop yourself. I certainly would be surprised if I saw a sax player playing something blues or jazzy and not moving alot, I understand you said hand, but its all part of it?:)

i can play this song, i played it for my districts solo/ensemble last year.
i was a little slower then, but i have only been playing for 4 years and i have asthma so i have to take more breaths, :|

peteryun1, he isn't going to fast. The speed is intended to be 200. Also, "my" isn't spelled "mi".
I do like it, but the only thing I don't like is that your clarinet was a tad bit on the flat side.
Otherwise, Bravo.
