  • Is it just me, or does that picture of Simon Dutton look a lot like Alan Partridge?

  • im sooo sorry but i dont wanna take risk

please dont report my comment in 1932, a little girl named Suzie was walking down the hall of an old hotel. A crazy man killed her by stabbing her in the back of the head and throwing her body in an elevator. While he closed the elevator doors he said the words "BAKUDA BAKUDA". Now that you have read this message, her dead body will appear in your bedroom every night you go to bed. Unless you do this:

  • @Ismail82221 Yer a Douchebag

  • @MrRockoRaccoon Yer a BITCH-ASS!

  • great music. awful stories! Dutton a good Saint but not given good material. A great waste!

  • WORST. SAINT. THEME. EVER. Its like an early 80's ITV gameshow.

  • Ahhh !!!!

Thank you very much Jackie, I was searching this version everywhere without any success, there's an extended version I think...

Very nice one and a lot of souvenirs...

  • I like the little saint theme part at the end of this. I think they used that for the commercial bumpers, no?

  • wow it is wonderful but I need somebody tells me where can I get the soundtrack, I remember that movie and I have been finding out about all the Saint's Collection, just I need a site where download all, music and all movies since Roger Moore was The saint until Simon Dutton starred that wonderful character. thank you so much, any help that you can give me it will be wonderful for me because the world of saint is my life, my everything I hope you understand my feelings about

  • @johnsteedmi5

The music was by Serge Franklin and conducted by Tony Britton. It remains unreleased.

  • Brought up onthe saint stories.rember bits of this series .anyone got anymore

  • I remember this version, but to me it seemed to lack something. I did have the white matchbox XJS from Return of the saint, the saint stickman was on the bonnet.

  • I remember watching this series in the late 80's early 90's and loving it, bearing in mind I was only around 14 at the time.

It was so good to see this clip that I've actually just bought the series from an Australian company(Umbrella DVD) and had it shipped to me.

Been good seeing it all again I can honestly say.

  • My favorite was Roger Moore, as well, but George Sanders was a pretty classy movie Saint WAY back in the 1930's and 40's. (Val Kilmer has done some great movies, but... WORST Saint EVER!)

Surprising to me was that the Saint author, Leslie Charteris, thought that the best man to play his character in the movies would be Cary Grant!

  • Nice theme, but an awful show. Remember watching this and thinking it was rubbish. I gave up watching it, and then ITV moved it to a late night slot, like they gave up showing it.

Thanks for posting it, though. Cool to see it. Love the theme.

  • That's true, but Roger Moore brought the character back to life. He will always be "Simon Templer" in the same manner that Connery will always be "James Bond". Nuff said...

  • Actually the best Saint was Vincent Price who played Templar on radio in the 1940s (if you think Roger Moore originated the character remember he was intoduced in 1928 and was in movies starting in 1938). I don't remember ever seeing this Sutton series of films at all.

  • It's Dutton not Sutton! I've heard a few Price recordings and I can't say I'm particularly impressed. I thought he sounded like a slimeball.

  • wow.... thats very SHIT!!!!! roger moore is the best saint. he played the saint for 9 freakin years.. all these other actors are shit, and so are the new versions.. shit shit shit.

  • So awful that ITV shoved half the episodes on at around 11pm.

  • It was lifted after the 2nd movie - called "The Blue Dulac" - which was terrible. The remaining 4 were shown the following year on a Wednesday evening (at least in my area) and are better than the Kilmer Movie!

  • Agreed, Kilmer was a shit saint and worst of all he had a yanky accent.

  • i just about remember this...should of gave him a slicker hair cut mine'd

  • I agree. They should have done a better job with his hair.

  • they did. its the credits that show a crappy haircut, but in the movies its more stylish.
