I was curious how CLU's invasion would have went. Maybe he had some means of taking over our technology? Maybe he had his weapons and vehicles outfitted with light shields all around them that would be impenetrable. I didn't see anything in the movie that convinced me his army wouldn't get curb stomped and it seemed like not even CLU knew what to fully expect on the outside. Though an army suddenly appearing in the middle of a city could inflict enormous civilian casualties before response.
