You know, most if not all of Modest Mouse's stuff is really depressing dispite the way the song can sound really upbeat. Like a man petting a dog and leaning over and in that "aww you're so cute" voice saying "I'm gonna kill you". It takes a certain type of intelligence to discern "take time to think long enough and you'll realize that you'll still die" from ping pong I guess.
