  • There were also spaceships that came out in the arcade version. But still a very good transition!

  • I thought this was a great game for the 2600, spent lots of time playing this. My all time favourite was Pele's soccer: graphically awful, but spent hours and hours with my brother playing against each other.

  • Yeah, you're right, Steve, this is MUCH easier than the Arcade version.

Admittedly, that's going on the XBLA version but the conversions on that are (usually) faithful to the arcade, so it's not a completely unfair comparison.

It's hard as nails to score very high on that but I did fairly well. :) It also has no trackball so that makes it harder too, I guess.

    Good archaic SWILL! :D

  • Is that blinking thing your crosshairs?

  • Yup. Advanced stuff, huh?

  • Ahh the good ol' days, glad I still own my gameing consoles (including the Atari). Best games I always thought were Missile Command, Pitfall, & Space Invaders:).

  • You should get the trackball for the 2600. We had it. This was about the only game it was good on. That and Centipede.

  • i also found it easier to play this game with a Sega Genesis controller. as for this port, i find it much easier than the arcade version since you have one base to deal with instead of 3

  • this game is great! but i think that space invaders is better. combat is okay

  • soo old.....

  • Before anyone tells me, yeah, I know... it was Terminator 2, not Terminator, that featured this game.

What can I say... it's hard to think, speak, and play a game at the same time.
