  • Tanya was HOT! Oh lucky Glen

  • Love this :) And please Tanya come to sweden!! :)

  • The years haven't been kinda to TT, I seen her the other day shopping (yes she shops like everyone else) I used to think she was so pretty.

  • @blackladee87 I know, it's a shame. She was such a pretty sexy gal. I saw her at Glen Campbells Serius Radio performance. Too many years of heavy smoking and she has gained so much weight. Such a wonderful voice still but she isn't seen much except for fairs and rodeos these days,

  • No Less than your LOVE

  • God, she's gorgeous.

  • @mchristie99 Shes fat and ugly now

  • @greenhornet123 Hope you fare better in 40yrs if not someone will let you know are fat and ugly

  • Another good song to go back and listen to.

  • goddamn JewoogleTub STOP fucking youtub up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wil somebody tell me why are all the great female country singers so darn beautyful? tanya , lacy j., emmelou harris, doly parton, jessie colton. and many others I cant remember.

  • Hard to believe this is the same Paul Davis behind songs like I Go Crazy and Cool Night.

  • I have 3 sons. I shared it with them for this Christmas day.

  • Awesome

  • Now this is music and this is what I grew up on, you can't get this kind of music anymore.

  • I agree with both of you

  • The engineering on this song is amazing. I like the way it modulates. Should've won Grammys, I think Tanya attended that year but they gave it to someone else and she was understandably pissed! Love her! Even if she never records another song, she has an amazing back catalog of songs, I like her better than all the usually honored country singers, like Reba (yuk!), Patsy Cline, Loretta, etc.

  • The firdbird commercial is the best!

  • She has gotta be one of the finest white women I think I have every seen...

  • Thanks junglejezzabel for giving me the title of that song. I am going to be doing a show and hope to do that as one of my songs. One of her ex bus drivers said I reminded him of her. Got that a bit messed up in my last post when I made that statement. I love Tanya. Sang in Nashville Palace with Randy, but never in all my years in Nashville did I get to meet Tanya. I will always be a fan. Great talent! Love the way she was not afraid to be Tanya.

  • Tanya looked innocent and gorgeous in this video. Knowing how bad she could be..., lol!

  • appearently out of 283,456 people 7 are idiots!

  • I love Tanya Tucker!!!!! One of her ex bus drivers told me I reminded me of Tanya. I've been told that a lot of people over the years. . She has a song I can't remember the title, but she has words in it about "when he is hanging off of his side of the bed" or something to that affect. Does anyone know the title? I sing and would love to do that song.

  • @HoneynSage you're probably thinking of "down to my last teardrop" :)

  • Her outfit is so great!

  • Justin listen..

  • This is true country music. I don't know why Paul Overstreet was never a big artist. He has always been a great singer/songwriter. His sons Chord and Nash are good musicians too. It is good that they have followed in their fathers footsteps even if they don't sing country.

  • If you want to learn how to sing a country song, especially with harmony, then start here.

  • It's real country music!!

  • I just love this song

  • Tanya was married to Glenn Cambell for a while. Does anyone know when?

  • @compukenny It does not appear they were ever married, just a "stormy" relationship, according to Wikipedia.

"The young woman also made gossip columns buzz with a series of romantic involvements. Her famous amours included country singer Merle Haggard (who was 21 years her senior), actor Don Johnson, the late pop singer Andy Gibb, and, most notably, country/pop star Glen Campbell, with whom she had a very stormy relationship and a minor hit duet, "Dream Lover." [6]"

  • this is when country was country the old stuff is best country music around may it never die

  • HeeHaw, you can't beat a Saturday night and some HeeHaw back in the day...

  • absolutely strums the heart felt memories of my family

  • what year was this? I am going to guess 1985.

  • @bettina121 You are close. It was on the "Love me like you used to" album which was released in 1987". God I love this song, and it's amazing how fast time flies.

Go to Wikipedia and search for Love_Me_Like_You_Used_To

  • THIS IS COUNTRY MUSIC

  • This has always been one of my favorite songs.

  • ed william

  • my uncle made me a tape when i was 13 he named it "Ties That Bind" and on it was a bunch of country songs mostly religeous or about family, this and alot of Paul Overstreet songs were on it, to this day when ever i hear good ole country like this it reminds me of how blessed i am

  • After watching this vid i realized how much i hate the so called country music they have today. I do miss the good ole days.

  • @kingarchero1 idiot get over your pucker pussy moronicy!!!!

  • 12-15 years ago there was a CD with her 50 greatest hits, sold on TV only. My wife lost it, and I'm wondering if anyone has it that I can buy. Email me.

  • @dbloom4771 FOUND IT YET???

  • @ron1863win

No, I have not found it. No one has come forward with a copy to sell. You?

  • @dbloom4771 Have you tried Ebay? You can even leave a search for a particular item and they will email you when it becomes for sale. Good Luck.

  • I had to research to make sure this was the same Paul Davis who had the hit in the 70's titled 'I Go Crazy".

  • Three legends, and one great song. Thanks for posting this.

  • smokes! she's good.

  • damn she is lookin hot!

  • this is true country music

  • Tanya never looked more beautiful than she does here, beautiful woman, beautiful voice, and a wonderful person.

  • the major difference between then and now is the distinction between voices... today all the MEN sound the exact same pretty much but back in the 70 and 80's you didn't have to guess who was singing when a new song came on the radio.. you instantly could tell it was Tanya, Dolly, Crystal, or my fav Barbara Mandrell.... I love Tanya's Growly voice.. I got to see her toward the end of her heyday, but still she was awesome.... she even dedicated a song to friends who had just lost their dad..

  • There is no country music anymore.

  • @raaron44 your head is in your cuntTree

  • @raaron44 It's still around, just not in Nashville and the record labels. I'm going to see Gene Watson soon, now if that ain't country.

  • Beautiful song.

  • Whis music was like this again. This is Country, not the crap they are playing now.

  • It's to bad about todays country music. It does all sound the same and commercialized! I prefer the country music from the 80s and the 90s.

This is one of my favorites, Such sweet harmonies and a melodic sound!

  • now this is GOOD country music....

  • It's a little known fact and I actually heard it back when this song was a hit, but yea, Jon Bon Jovi joined in on the chorus towards the end of the song, not sure if it's even in the liner notes........ pretty obscure. One of the national dj's at the time pointed out this very little known tidbit.......... being so far removed from that time, it's hard to come up with hard evidence.... but my musical memory is usually spot-on.

  • @TheGrafted1 I can't say that it's not true, but you'd think Jon Bon Jovi would have at least been credited on background vocals if so.It certainly wouldn't be alll that far fetched, considering he's gone more the direction of country in recent years-or at least what's categorized as such in this day and age.

  • So darn good! HFN

  • A bit of irony here as I see all the comments about traditional country music. As I remember and someone correct me if I'm wrong but the King of all Hair Bands, Jon Bon Jovi sang background on the released song. Great song.

  • @TheGrafted1

Jon Bon Jovi had "nothing" to do with this song. Paul Overstreet, Paul Davis and Tanya Tucker were the only vocal on this (background or otherwise). The legendary Don Schlitz and his partner Paul Overstreet wrote the song. This song hit #1 on the billboard charts in 1988.

  • What a beautyful, natural woman, what a voice, what a song. Love her in every age!

  • Now this is country . Sure do miss it . This pop country of today sucks big

time . Dont the song writers today know this .

  • Tanya looks so pretty and sounds amazing :) like always

  • This is such a beautiful song. Thank you Tanya Tucker for sharing your gift of music :)

  • Paul Overstreet is the Dad of the new cast member on Glee (Blonde Hair) I can't think of his name though.

  • @Heartboy1031 Chord Overstreet plays Sam. :)

  • Excellent song. Nothing like country women!!!

  • my lord tanya was hot back then!

  • Fab song!

  • love TANYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fantastic song from a great singer!

  • Is that the same Paul Davis who did "I go Crazy"????

  • @don417 ..yes it's the same Paul Davis, he passed away on April 22nd 2008. He wrote several songs for Tanya, they were great friends.

  • @don417 Yes.

  • @don417

Yes. That's the same Paul Davis.

Paul Davis changed his appearance over the years. Paul Davis died in 2008 at the age of 60.

  • I used to turn to the firs country song I heard, tuck my clock raio under my pillow, and lisen all night long. now this is music.

  • Let me try that again: They don't come any more talented than the TT lady, and they don't make em like her anymore either!!

  • They don't come any talented that the TT lady. And....they don't make em like her anymore either!! A free spirit personified.......

  • this is a great country song

  • all i can say is BEAUTIFUL ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

  • I love this song it's a great song for children to listen to

  • I could listen to this kind of country music all day long, all night long, all year long. Current stuff? No thanks.

  • This is another great song featuring Paul Davis.....with Tanya Tucker and Paul Overstreet.

  • I've got goosebumps!;-)

  • I wish we had more of this kind of music, I love it

  • One of my Pretty Momma's favorite songs. <3

  • love it -thanx for posting

  • Not only is this a great performance but it demonstrates excellent songwriting, something that is pretty much extinct from todays so called country music ( or any music for that matter).

  • Good ol' any kind of music. Tanya in my opinion is a artist who is not secluded to category. She is such a beautiful woman. She has a great voice that can sing most anything. She is "The Female Elvis" in my opinion. She has a very soulfoul bluesy assurance to her sound and stage presence. Her dance moves are real and inspired by the moment. She has such beautiful movements and she dances so good.

  • Comment removed

  • Can someone tell me what the date of this performance is? Thanks.

  • This is a good song.I realy enjoy this one.

  • paul, my dear friend, rest in peace.

  • They can't make it like this anymore because they are different folk today. Tanya can still make it though.

  • So good a song... thanks Tanya

  • An unforgettable song from an unforgettable era, and by three unforgettable singers; Paul Davis, Tanya Tucker, and Paul Overstreet. RIP Mr. Davis, and as for Miss Tucker and Mr. Overstreet, please keep the hits coming!

  • Not a song released on Country Music Radio in the past year can match this one..........

  • @ChipNSC77 I agree as a matter of fact today's "So Called Country Music" wouldn't even come close.

  • @ChipNSC77 I do give slight praise to Crystal Shawanda's "You Can Let Go," and Ashton Sheppard's "Taking Off This Pain," but they both have a long way to go to equal this song...

  • @ChipNSC77 More like in the past 10 years.

  • They should have done more together!

  • Back when the vocals carried the song.

  • Great song !!!

  • Tanya really looks beautiful here!!!

  • my best ever tanya love it love it love it lol

  • gawd I love that woman....and Pauland Paul...good. Can Paul Overstreet write a bad song?????????NOPE...GOOD!!!!!!!!

  • @doyle921 Nope! He can't. (I'm guessing maybe you've seen the "Halfway Home Cafe" video.)

  • This song means so much to me. It always makes me think of the love that I have for my mother, and how much she loves me.

  • ealfredson:

On her worst day she's better than anything you ever had.

  • Country stars know how to dress. I know she stood an looked in the mirror and said, "Damn I look hot in this". NOT!. But at least she has a dynamite voice. Great song !

  • I don't!

  • Tanya's rockin' the fringe! Love this song! I live in AL, but I am a 'yankee' and I love country and country gospel

  • I'm from Minnesota and this is the best ever

  • Well here in the South, we love this music. As well as the down home Southern Gospel, Southern Rock (Ex: Lynard Skynard) and other country artists such as Hank Williams JR, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard. etc. So if you hate it so much why in the world are you listening to it.

  • She's really pretty. And I love this song.

  • It"s a touching song in which comes a time we have to depart, as lovers, family, or friends.

  • THANKS for sharing this! First time I even heard that song.

  • 1988 she would have been 30...she always seemed older than that to me! She didn't look it though..quite the opposite...she was young and beautiful.

  • beautiful song i have ever heard!!

  • i like her already.

  • Tanya NEVER looked hotter than in this video. Damn I loved her with that big hair
