Today's elk are anything but inferior, although the hands off management plans that are used in parks and such do lead to desensitized animals, that is not a reality with elk outside the parks.
Georgia's management techniques have nothing to do with Idaho, Mont, WY or NV, none of those states ever managed for max capacities, and actually 'had' healthy systems.

Wolf guiding is a business as well as elk and it's just good for the country. If hunters showed up to the "legalize rally's" we'd probably run into the wolf copulating sector of our populous. It's just good for the economy to allow wolf hunting and that's more of an issue not in my opinion either.
