I can't tell you where your mistakes are. I can only tell you that you've helped me with several chord shapes after the intro patterns. You've also confirmed that it is possible to play using a barred F instead of using that crippling "thumb over" technique. So thanks for that. Nice playing. For the 1st heavy bit I keep the Am shape (using fingers 3,4 & 5) and just go up to the 3rd finger at the 9th and then 7th frets sounding the open bass A string. I think it's better 'cos you get the A bass.

when you slide up and down the strings try lifting your fingers off a bit so you have less string noise. thats pretty good, and for the struming use the back of your fingers or have a pic close and grab it fast.
