I'm sad. Why? I was born in 1997. I never got to experience the old Nickelodeon. The good Nickelodeon. However, there was a channel specifically geared towards Family Double Dare, Figure it Out and all the classics provided by our Cable company. It eventually went down. It's disappointing; I feel like they've taken away history for younger generations. They'll never know Rugrats or, the Wild Thornberries or even Rocko's Modern Life. It's a shame. I'm just glad I got to see them while I could.

@HaloxReachxGirl No Nickelodeon moved them to Nicktoons but however, They play Rugrats some times on Nick. GUTS, Double Dare, and other shows used to show on Nick GAS before it closed Dish Network has an automatic loop of Nick GAS so it lasted longer be for it closed complety. There are rumors of Nick GAS Revival but no evidance of it. Nickelodeon Studios Could not come back it depends if Nickelodeon hears our call to make it come back. stay calm its still there Gs still there.

@princessemma2456 To put it simply, two things happened. First, Universal expanded by creating the Islands of Adventure theme park next door. And since there were now more things to do at the resort, Nickelodeon Studios saw a huge drop in visitors in the '00s. Second, it became harder to get sitcom actors and voice artists to film shows in Orlando, so the studios began to focus only on game shows. And as kids began to lose interest in game shows, the studio began losing money.

this makes me sad. i remember when i was like 4, and i asked my mom if we could go to nickelodean studios, and she told me that we would go one day...we never went :'(

how sad,i remember watching rocketpower,Kennal and Kel and other programs that where awesome back then. I was only like 7 or something and i loved to see all those cartoons and stuff damn good time:(...TV now sucks and its not funny at all. I almost cried watching this.What happened to the capsule i wonder whats inside of there :).

@xxxxmanuftwxxxx the time capsule is now on Nickelodeon hotel, and inside were things that kids of 1992 voted as important for them, such as CDs, photos, dolls and stuff like that. Oh, and a little Gak was inside too.

Went here this summer to see The Blue Man Group. Being a 90s Nick kid, I was greatly saddened to see the Nick Studios go. I always wanted to see a taping of Double Dare or Figure It Out. I never got to. The Blue Man Group was AMAZING, though. It was possibly the best part of Universal Studios. It was well worth the money to go.

Here's the saddest part. The bathroom right next to it still has the green tiling on the floor in the shape of a slime splat. When I walked in it... a tear welled up...

Aw i would have teared up if i saw that there. I was a kid myself and i use to watch Nick during every summer. Now it's gone like are you afraid of the dark, Salute your shorts, And they won't even release them on DVD. We want our shows on DVD.
