The one thing I did purchase for my truck was a hitec HS-5645MG & it's the absolutely perfect servo for the vehicle..

I know they would I have just ran mine with a 3s and it kicked ASS!!!!!!!! It was amazing in offroad no over heating issues at ALL!!!

Okay then. I will just GET a 3s for mine. I am probably the only person in Britain who probably has one because I ordered mine from tower hobbies and I have had no problem with 2s no overheating at all and the hpi in Britain they say that you shouldn't have no problem with at all obviously every car gets hot but trust everybody I'm sure it will be okay on 3s and even if it isn't send it back to hpi easy as!! Yours is just probably faulty. :)

I rang hpi today and they said that there is nothing wrong with overheating issues and they say that 3s is perfectly fine on off road. its not like HPI to put out junk like this so I think if you call them and report all your problems they will make it write. I hope! I would not recommend this truck until they get some fixes or upgrades for the problems. Sorry you didnt have any better luck.

I just got one on the 16th. Also converted to TRX plugs. Got 1.5 packs run time before the esc caught fire. Also the tie rod popped off a couple of times and the slipper clutch burned up completely. Needless to say I have to wait until Monday to talk to HPI about all these problems. Im pretty pissed about it.... The little bit of run time I did have showed me that the truck is probably the fasted and quickest rc car I have ever owned. It has an INSANE amount of power. Good luck !!
