What a great voice ! This girl leaves all those other no voice twits in the dust, spears, gaga. and the other morons whose names I can't recall. Her voice is relaxed, smooth, no strain & sexy. Her range is great. The female find of the 21st century . A future female crooner superstar. If I was a record producer I'd have her under contract pronto ! I can't wait to buy her first CD !

@alw1104 SERABEE is all substance, no hype needed. Her abilities and accomplishments speak for themselves. The fact that you use iTunes as a measure of talent shows that your criteria is very shallow, and based more on a popularity contest.
Regardless of whether or not SERABEE or XENIA won, they are still better than Dia. Nothing can change this fact. Dia was GASPING FOR AIR during her ENTIRE live performance in finals, which proves that she didn't deserve to get that far on popularity.

If they are good, they will make their contestants stronger and more competitive at the end. That should be the extent to which the show should be about the coaches. Otherwise, what you have is a proxy popularity contest between the coaches where their fans are voting for contestants as a proxy vote for the coaches, and contestants' vocal talent will not decide who gets the contract

Xenia's a great singer, but the whole performance thing is also part of being The Voice because she sounds completely different on stage than in the studio recording. I think Xenia just needs to get used to performing.

This girl is incalculably adorable. We couldn't be rooting for her any harder than we already are. That said, she's just not ready. She's a little stiff on stage. Her song choice, as Adam put it, was very "sleepy." She hasn't really developed the top of her voice yet. We can't wait to see her win "American Idol" in two years, but we think this is the last "Voice" performance we'll see from her.

Xenia clearly has the most potential out of the bunch, and obviously, she has a great voice for studio recordings where you can really hear all her phrasings, tone, intonations and inflections. What i think cost her the popular vote was her lack of stage presence and visible nervousness. the beauty of her voice is in the tone and phrasing but you could barely hear it live. At her age time is on her side. Her voice will mature and with a few years of practice on stage she'll be undeniable.

I had thought the praise Blake bestowed upon her to be a little excessive

@purple1ninja1turtle Dia should NOT be rewarded for having a hype machine who scams voting system. JARED, XENIA, or PATRICK had better voices, but this contest was not foolproof from becoming a popularity contest, or having fanatical fans/friends/family abuse flawed voting system.
Fortunately, REAL talent will win The Voice! Last night, JAVIER, VICCI, & BEV were outstanding. I voted for BEV because she slightly edged out the others on the duet. All 3 of them are deserving of a big contract.

@alw1104 SERABEE is all substance, no hype needed. Her abilities and accomplishments speak for themselves. The fact that you use iTunes as a measure of talent shows that your criteria is very shallow, and based more on a popularity contest.
Regardless of whether or not SERABEE or XENIA won, they are still better than Dia. Nothing can change this fact. Dia was GASPING FOR AIR during her ENTIRE live performance in finals, which proves that she didn't deserve to get that far on popularity.

But I loved Dia just as much as I loved Xenia. I wish neither of them had to be voted off. And I voted for both of them. I couldn't choose. So I would've been happy either way.

@olguits09 You're right. I don't think it is about the coaches. Coaches are there to help mentor the contestants. If they are good, they will make their contestants stronger and more competitive at the end. That should be the extent to which the show should be about the coaches. Otherwise, what you have is a proxy popularity contest between the coaches where their fans are voting for contestants as a proxy vote for the coaches, and contestants' vocal talent will not decide who gets the contract

This girl is incalculably adorable. We couldn't be rooting for her any harder than we already are. That said, she's just not ready. She's a little stiff on stage. Her song choice, as Adam put it, was very "sleepy." She hasn't really developed the top of her voice yet. We can't wait to see her win "American Idol" in two years, but we think this is the last "Voice" performance we'll see from her.

Xenia clearly has the most potential out of the bunch, and obviously, she has a great voice for studio recordings where you can really hear all her phrasings, tone, intonations and inflections. What i think cost her the popular vote was her lack of stage presence and visible nervousness. the beauty of her voice is in the tone and phrasing but you could barely hear it live. At her age time is on her side. Her voice will mature and with a few years of practice on stage she'll be undeniable.
