Lol when Sims 4 comes out I still won't be done playing The Sims 2... Its just so endless

and I'll probably never start playing Sims 3 because it just makes me so bored!

@Lucki094 Same here. Unfortunately I lost all my sims 2 games and now I'm stuck playing dumb sims 3. Even if I have pets, it just makes me bored. Like the sims 2 are endless, I don't care how many other games come out, sims 2 was a legend to a lot of people's lives. I literally spend my whole childhood playing the sims 2, like I will never stop. As soon as I get them back Sims 3 can go fuck itself.

I used to have almost all the games/packs, but I eventually sold them cause I stopped playing them and needed cash. But a couple years went by and I missed the games like crazy so when I bought a new laptop recently, I bought all of them again. :] The Sims 2 is the best compared to the original Sims and Sims 3. I just want the Sims 2 Happy Holiday Stuff pack now.. it'll go well with The Sims 2 Seasons.

@cakeftw2 it's not really a waste, my sims can actually leave their houses and walk around town, have bachelor/ette parties, extravagant weddings, go around the world, the kids can have treehouses, teens get to go to prom and take after school classes, the works. When I had sims 2 I got bored of it very quickly and the game was so glitchy it drove me insane. I much prefer sims 3 to sims 2, not wasting my money at all. If anything, I wasted money on sims 2! :)

To me the Sims 2 was great but the Sims 3 seems to be missing something I can't exactly put my finger on it. It's a great game though. I mean, I play it and by the expansions and all but I don't know:-/....On another note, I think Sims should make Sims 3 Seasons or something like University:)..

I miss the sims 2. I like the sims 3, but it seems to have lost a certain something (they need to come out with NEW expansion packs, not packs that they already had in the sims 2). The old packs were good, but the idea of having something new that wasn't in the first sims made it a better game. Copying all of the old packs aren't gonna make me want to buy they (even though I do want sims 3 unleashed or whats-its-face).

@TheColynSlayer totally..i've had this expansion for almost 3 years now and it's totally worth it..it's so fun if you put an entire family in one appartment block, they stay so connected! and you dont even need a nanny anymore, you can just ask your neighbours to look after the kids xD

is this one a stand alone anyone know? or is it expanding the sims two? when i had bought sims life stories, i didn't realize it was stand alone. i have all but two of the sims 2's, but my husband has sims 3. i got a new computer and it plays it, the old one didn't. so now im torn, play sims 2 that i was unable to play for awhile, & its calling my name, or just move on to sims 3? its insane how much i must have spent looking at my collection of all the sims 2 boxes. and still have sims 1's too!
