  • I'll take twins! :D I'm going to see the OBGYN on the 30th to see what we can do about this problem! Can't wait to get pregnant!

  • PCOS is a Linux Distro

  • I have been married for 11yrs now and no luck with kids, I have been diagnosed with PCOS for the past 2 yrs and have facial hair and gain weight... Im trying to lose weight by walking briskly everymorning for 30 mins to 1 hr..

I saw people saying about clomid and provera.. do you take these pills everyday, ?? how does it work??

  • @princesspiment

From my experiences, you only take Provera when you don't have your monthly period. Povera help starts your period. During the first FIVE days of your period, you take the Clomid, therefore, by the time you ovulate all the medication will be out of your system by drinking lots of water. However you should always consult with your doctor before taking any medication.

  • I am 6 weeks pregnant with pcos, watch my videos on my journey :)

  • Im 25 years old and i was diagnosed with high testosterone level when i was 12.

I was diagnosed with PCOS when i was 23. I was on duphaston and clomid 50mg but it doesnt seem to work on me two years ago. Right now its been two years of trying. I am taking metformin 850mg morning & evening and povera, clomid 150mg. I've been doing several blood test to see if ovulation occours.. but seems like nothing is working. Its really upsetting to see all the negative results.

  • I just found out that I have PCOS, and I am sure Ive had it for years without knowing. I am sure I should of went to doctors when my period started being irregular but I didn't. I miscarried in 2005 and the doctors think that is why...and I havent been able to get pregnant since, and me and my fiance have been trying. In a way finding out I have this is a relief...I mean it gives me hope, and now I can be treated and hopefully in a year or two I will be able to get pregnant...

  • ( I have pcos ) The doctor I went to told me that he could put me on met . & clo . but interestingly enough when I mentioned that I have been trying to conceive for 15 yrs without success "he mention drilling my ovaries to release a flood of eggs " The doc. seemed very sure that I would conceive once that happened *

  • @cdemiri Hi, i went for consultation last month and i was told about drilling. It seems like there has been some success cases (finger's cross) when they start doing drilling to the ovaries. I was told that even after drilling I still need to have the hormone injections to have egg release. Not too sure if this will work.

  • Master John Tao can cure this.

He only accepts donations and is a Buddhist

  • Nice a very useful Information abut PCOS . Its nice a healthy as well!

  • Hi! Have you thought about intellectus diet (search on google for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some great things about it and my buddy lost a ton of weight with it.

  • I think this video simplified the problem way too much. For many women, clomid or femara do not work because the eggs do not develop properly with PCOS and the sperm can not penetrate. My husband is healthy, however since my eggs are not allowing his sperm, we are doing ICSI. I was on clomid for a few months and femara for over a year- neither worked. If they have not worked for you, talk to your doc about ICSI.

  • The video makes it sound so simple. However, the process is so much more complicated than simply taking clomid or metformin and controlling one's weight. If it were that easy, everyone with PCOS who wants babies would be having them.

  • I remember how I was told I had PCOS the doctor came back in and said "Ok well you have PCOS google it. You may not be able to get pregnant" And then walked out. That was a sad day.

  • @MiiSSMAGGiEMAY wow how cruel :( I remember when the doctor gave me metformin and when i went back to discuss the potential kidney damage and all the digestive system issues, he looked at me like "and..."

Few people really understand how hard this syndrome is to deal with.

  • Wish I had insurance so I could get some of those meds.....

  • I was diagnosed last week. Took my last med of Provera on Monday. Nurse told me it will take 3 -10 days after taking Provera to see results of menstruation. So what are your thoughts.

  • I must wait on the Lord... My HELP comes from HIM! Ladies keep praying ! PCOS since 2008 still waiting with faith!

  • I'd much rather bring my body to a balance naturally instead of depending on all these medications! Whole foods, natural supplements, medicinal herbs, exercise and stress management. That's what I believe in and that's what long term success is about...

  • ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS EXERCISE, AND TRY VITEX. ITS VERY SAFE AND IT COULD BE THE BEST THING YOU DO. ITS AN HERB, THAT WORKS GENTLY AND SLOWLY. DOCTORS DONT PRESCRIBE IT BECAUSE THEY DONT SPECIALIZE IN THAT. IT CAN TAKE UP TO 6 MONTHS FOR IT TO WORK BUT IT CAN ALSO START WORKING IN 2 WEEKS, EVERY WOMAN IS DIFFERENT. ALSO IT CLEARS UP ACNE, BRINGS BACK MENSTRALS, AND HOPEFULLY HELPS YOU PRODUCE PROGESTERONE, SO YOU CAN GET PREGO! LOOK UP "VITEX SUCCESS STORIES" ON YAHOO, YOU WILL BE AMAZED!!!!!!!

  • I have been on Metform, and Clomid for 6 months. I still cant Ovulate!! WHY NOT?? I dont have diabetes or anything! My blood test are all normal! GRR I give up for now!No, women with PCOS CANT get insurance becasuse of a " pre existing condition. which is crap! its not like we did this to our selfs!!

  • @bettescorpio You shouldn't think that way or you will never get pregnant and you'll just be miserable. Try fertilaid or chiral Balance. I'm trying it and my periods started becoming regular which I never had my whole life. I've been TTC for 20 years now with no luck but I try to stay +. Stressing out about it won't help at all. I've been through the dissapointment too but keep hoping. Keep the faith. Love the life you have for now. If it doesn't happen, there is always adoption. Good luck

  • @bettescorpio You poor thing. I have felt this way for many years as well but try and think positively and try again. I've been trying to get pregnant for 10 years now and i will not give up. You never know...Good luck! God bless you.

  • @itsjustme1980ify Thank you dear!! Good luck on your quest. :) It usually happens when you least expect.

  • hi since i was 14 they dignost me with PCOS now i am 23 years old i try to conceive since 2years now since january i went to see my fertility doctor they give me provera and after the provera i took the clomid the first month it was ok and the second month i dind see any period i should got my period but , in April i went to my doctor apoitment again to see how i was and he double me the medication now i have my period dont know if its going to work if i will be able to get pregnant

  • does this work for men?

  • I'm on Provera, Metformin, and Clomid.... Come on baby!!!!!!!

  • @beth510 Did you get pregnant yet? I am probably going to start medication soon so I want to know if it worked out well for you!

  • @TDSikorsky Yup, I got pregnant and my little guy is actually due in two weeks! I was on the medication and got pregnant the second month!

  • @beth510 Hey, I came across your comment here, and I was wondering what medication did you use in order to get pregnant ? And congratulation on your baby - smile

  • @compgirl1522 I took Clomid and Provera.. Got pregnant after the second cycle!

  • @compgirl1522 I took Clomid and Provera.. Got pregnant after the second cycle! Go to your OBGYN and talk with them about it! You have to be trying for a certain amount of time before they'll prescribe the medication to you though.. But good luck!

  • I have PCOS since adolescence and now I m 30 (single), and still dont quite understand the seriousness of the problem. Some of the effects that I have been experincing through years are - painful and irregular periods (no upto 4 months), irregular sleep, oily and acne prone skin, little extra around the belly (slim otherwise), not very energetic, extra hairs in some parts of the body, strong sense of smell, have a sweet tooth. I dont know how it is going be when I'll want to start a family...

  • girls listen up ! i just spole to my gp and she said i have to lose weight and thats when my periods will come which means the cysts in my ovaries will go away. i have been on this special program of mine for three days now and im staring to feel alot better. She said come back and have a blood test taken but i think i will wait longer to see wether my healthy diet will improve my menstruation. I believe the human body was perfectly made by god therefore its very intelligent.

  • hi yes me and my partner, tyler haslet, are trying to make a baby. any tips? should he get ovaries implanted? (tyler i hope you look at this from beezyfilms page lol)

  • @BeezyFilms BUWAHAHAHA! XD

  • I have pcos and have a regular menstral cycle theirfore ovulate (as my dr said) so i prob wont have problems in getting pregnant

  • actually that is, dangerous side affects w those meds? & pcos women should not be taking those they mask the symptoms.there is safer more affective treatments

pcos is most understood even w drs, look up metabolisum b, which is what all pcos women have (men can also have met b) she deals w it through special diet, she also has pcos herself.

    clomid causes cancer

& causes mulit births, wat u think kate has 8 for?

met should only be used for ppl with diabetes & horrible side affects & heart issues.

  • hate to tell you it was not clomid but injectable kate used and pcos is not the only cause of infertilty.

Metformin causes kidney problems...best is a good diet

  • I have pcos too. I tried to get pregnant for a year but I couldn't. I started taking metformin and three month later I got pregnant. M daughter is 4 years old and healty. With my second baby I got pregnant without metformin on the first try. After I stopped breastfeeding I was waiting for my period but nothing. I started met again and I heve regular periods now. It helped me lose weight too. So I support the medicine 100%. It works for me and worked for many women I know.

  • the medicine didnt fix your periods having been pregant DID. its common for women after being pregnant it resets the system.

i dont put much faith in those meds, too many side affects ( i also have pcos.

  • Hi, is Metformin the same with Diabex? Also, is it safe to take oral metformin during pregnancy? wouldn't it harm the baby?..

  • I stopped met when I was 12 weeks pregnant, my doctor told me to. However, I know someone who took it throughout her pregnancy and her baby (he is 3yrs old now) is healthy, beautiful and really smart.

  • @ilovea4eva It would harm the baby.. so dont

  • so if i don't, do i inject insulin into myself instead?? also, does insulin make me gain weight..? i heard it does a LOT

  • i just tried it fir 1 cycle, but i'mgoing to stop cos i'm not keen on the idea of my body 2pretending" to have a normal cycle.I prefer the natural root, plus it might affect my fertility i told the doc this and she said it would'nt but i bet the same thing is said with every other medication thats been spread like fire, and messed up people health.I'm only 24,single,but i want 7 children in the near future, lol

  • i know that's right. and i want 9 children (or more...well, as many as God will give me). i need to get started! i cant have this pcos crap messin up my life. maybe i need some deliverance. i will look into that. disease is not a natural state of being.

  • Hello:) i'm 24 as well and i just found out o have pcos.... my doctor also told me to go on the pill.... but to tell you the true , i feel the same way as you feel, i gain about 10 pounds in 3 weeks since i been on the pill.... what should we do?? lol cuz i also wanna have lot's of children:D

  • pfft i have pcos , i went on the pill and then got preg

  • i was on metaformen to and all i got was a nervous break down so they put me on birth control i had a tubal pregnancy my doc was a retart and i end up lose a tube a baby and my mind leave it to god ladys pray thats all you can do every church has a hannahs prayer list find one and have them add you and you can pray for others to i know about ten coples who was told there totaly infertil and will never concive after they gave them girth control

  • ya bc is the worst thing u nca do for pcos its the 1st things drs try to put every1 on or some other just as dangerous drug meta & clomid etc

  • I just wanted to say that I also have PCOS. I dont have any of the down-side symptoms like facial hair or weight gain, i just randomly get my periods. I don't have any kids but would like tons! I think if we all turn to the Lord with our hopes and desires then they will be answered. Your all not alone. PCOS is very common. Best wishes to ALL!!

  • definately will screw u up & side affects, they dont want 2 know wats wrong just b pill pushers, thats why im doing nfp i have pcos, trouble concieving & overweight, I told the dr i probably had this only found out about 4 yrs ago im 32, most diag in teens.

depression is also a sign, depression is a symp of something else, 4 me pcos.

NFP is the ONLY way to go then go from there. drs and thier hammer approach makes me sick!

WHY exactly r u infertile? wat can b done, not here take THE PILL

  • what a load of crap..... I've done everything that these so called 'specialists' say and it's been 10 yrs... NO BABY!!!!

i feel like a real woman. In the future i would like to get children two or three

so I stop now im like the niagara falls bla bla

i hope my wishes come true

  • I read somewhere on internet that Vitamin D is good remedy for PCO. May be you can take morning sunlight atleast for 10 minutes daily. There is nothing to loose.

  • Hi i have pcos and i am on metformin and it is helping and im doing the diet and excercise thing so i hope i get prego eventually

  • Good luck!! I hope that it works for you. I might be starting treatment on Tuesday. I am not trying to get pregnant. I am just trying to get a period. I haven't had a period on my own in so long. I had withdrawls from my birthcontrol that I used just to make sure I wouldn't be pregnant but that was about it. I also am using the nuva ring and not going through the withdrawl period it's wierd. Im telling my dr. on Tuesday.

  • I have known about my PCOS for about 12 years. I am now 24 and I hope the metformin helps. I do not have insurance right now but when I do I am definatly going to start taking it again. Knowing I am not alone in this struggle makes me feel more understood. I probably seems cheesy but I have watched all my friends become proud parents and I cry every night. Maybe someday we can all share in our dream of holding out own babies close to out hearts forever.

  • if u cant affrod meta, u can sub w cinnimon :) i think thats why i gained so much weight i used to eat it al lthe time, this b4 i knew wat it did.

pcoschallenge if ud like to blog etc

  • they sell a prescription for only $5 for a monthly supply(30 pills) at walmart or meijer not that exspensive

the appointment to go and see the endocrinologist is the exspensive part!

  • not sure if i can get it here, im in canada

  • @tattooangel23

I don't have insurance either and can't afford to fix my problem. I want a child so badly. I know that my husband is disappointed. It hurts me so bad because I feel as if it is my fault that we haven't started a family.

  • @EducatedBlonde its not your fault. you are not broken! Your husband, I'm sure, no matter what--loves you. Not just your womb. ha. Truly though, hang in there. You don't want to look back in regret...hating this TTC time in your life. it may last a while. So make it not miserable, as much as possible :)

  • @tattooangel23 i am in the same boat as you i work at a hospital and it brings tears to my eyes when i see my friends and even my younger cousins have kids i cry myself to sleep b/c i havent one of my own yet, im 28 been married for 4 years at times i feel like giving up. i want to wish you good luck

  • @tattooangel23 I feel the same way

  • @tattooangel23 ive only recently been diagnosed with pcos (when things got really baaaaaad) trying dieting and exercise but its slooooow progress. been trying to get pregnant for months now and nothing is happening. was on metformin and provera. got depressed to...havent been to my gyno in about 3 months. i guess i'm kinda demotivated. i cry too when i think about it. one of my friends is pregnant and she wasnt even trying. in fact she told everyone else and is still afraid to tell me. sigh

  • @dumplingandtt Hi there... I think when we are diagnosed with PCOS, we will have difficulty loosing weight. The Gyne will often recommend Matformin or Glucophen. It will help break down sugar and lower our testosterone level. I have been on it for 2 years and i've lost about 10kg since. I think its helping me reduce my weight..

at the same time i am also taking Povera and Clomid 150mg. Its been two years now.. and i am still hoping for a miracle to happen.

  • @tattooangel23 I have PCOS too. I was diagnosed when I was 14, and I am about to be 25 years old. My husband I are trying to become parents. It hasn't been easy, but I am with you in renewed hope. And I don't think what you said was cheesy at all! I cry over pampers commercials and it seems like all the women my age are getting pregnant or popping out babies left and right!

  • @tattooangel23 I'm the same age you are, and just as frustrated. Just know you are not alone and we are here for you.

  • hi my name is renee i have one son already he is now 2yrs going on 5mnths old i've had my period 2 times since i've had him i feel so depressed because i have pcos and i was told i cant have babies and i believe it because im not on any contraception yes im sexually active but i still havent been pregnant i live in australia ive been to alot of doctors they all say the same thing i was just wondering if there is any way you can help me

  • usually getting pregant resets ur cycles, try nfp- sympto thermal to see wat your hormones are doing so u can find out wat to do about it

  • That's the problem I have with fertility meds. I don't want to have twins I just want a single birth. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, but I'm not on any medication currently.
