  • i need help please i got i3 2100 and it making noises like zzzz and it's coming from the processor not from the fan cooler i even took it off to make sure .. it's made in Costa Rica btw HELP PLEASE

  • ha i have a pentium 4 and i play games fine! like for example skyrim on ultra high hell yes!

  • i Have Intel Core i3 2130 3,4 Ghz, skyrim runs great on ultra, gta iv too (my gpu is gtx 560)

  • i5 or i7 if your going to use it for gaming.... and get a 3ghz+

  • amo mi core i3 :D :D :D simplemente me encanta este procesador, es perfecto

  • i've got it its wonderful! 5.2 ghz is pretty much and thats why i dont care about game requrements and buy it instantly :P

  • i hate my core i3...get a core i5 if you can!

  • let me just warn anyone whos gona buy a laptop with intel prosessor and are gona game on it. it sucks baaaaad.

  • Is this good for youtube commentaries? Im a VIDEO GAME COMMENTATOR

  • melee hunter, lol

  • phenom II x4 8zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzD------------------)( core i3 "orchata blast"

  • great low-end chip.

  • AMD is better you get 4 physcial cores. with Intel you get 2 physical cores and 2 virtual cores. Cores are better than threads.

  • @happyguy215 no. Technically you will get 4 cpus with core i3. This thing is really fast

  • @ThePunisherFTW its 4 cores but its 2 real cores and 2 fake cores. which makes it a dual core

  • BEAUTIFULL O_O

  • 5 people have pentium e6500

  • @Dubbzee702 have pentium 4 !!

  • @danipolo1515

Ditto. Good for gaming and a good overclocker

  • is this processor any good for multi tasking?

  • @Caio569 yes it great!

  • @Caio569 nop

  • The best processor, i have it and i love it! <3

  • Is this Dual, Triple, or Quadcore?

  • @theif519

Dual, but it has Hyper-Threading,so it basicly acts like a Quad.

  • @Methecookie3456 Hold on, but my computer says it has 4CPUs and many other applications *Even on Ubuntu Linux's System Info* it says I'm using a Quadcore processor... so you're saying I have Dualcore, but it functions like a quadcore?

  • @theif519

    Uhh...yes.The i3 definetaly has 2 cores,but it "acts" like a Quad.Search it up.

  • @Methecookie3456 Hyper Threading Right ?

  • @Methecookie3456 I have this too! It says it has 2 but in the Task Manager (Win7) it sshows 4 of them (?)

  • @andrezlatin its 4 logical cores. two physical and two virtual from the hyper-threading. windows sees it as 4 cores.

  • @theif519 Your processor has 2 cores and 4 threads. My i7 has 4 cores and 8 threads, so it's not an octocore.

  • @Fucklesticks What do you mean by "Threads"? Someone else told me it was a "Virtual Core" or something.

  • @theif519 That's exactly what they are. It's like splitting your physical cores into 2 smaller processors.

  • Intel i3 ftw, i still don't understand why it doesn't have turbo boost.

  • the 5 who disliked this probably has intel pentium!

  • @FPSPointMan no maybe amd

  • i have pentium d and i like it XD

  • DELL DATA SAFE KEYGEN DOWNLOAD SEE THIS VIDEO /watch?v=n5QMp1R9u0g

  • nao roda tibia ;)

  • That's a good processor for new users.

  • @sickLu1z what are you talking bro? the i3 is awesome for beginers and pros I got a i3 and I overclocked it to 4.4GHz and it kick the ass out of i5 quad core or the amd x6 in games!!! btw. I have the i3 530 normal on 2.93 ghz :D

  • i dont know a shit about this -.-' but since i want a gaming computer that includes this... can i play word of warcraft with 60 fps with this core?

  • @xAweeZx No, you will need an off board graphics card like nVidia or ATI.

  • this is also made for gaming right?

  • @bombach007 yep I have one and it kick ass overclocked it to 4.4GHz :D

  • Yesterday I bought a new computer.

An HP PC with a 3.2 Ghz i3 processor and 4G RAM memory!!

    OMG!

This thing is fantastic for me because I need power to record with Cubase and render HD videos to Youtube with Sony Vegas Pro 9.

It's got Windows 7 Home Premium.

My previous computer used to load 5 minutes when I turned Vegas on and it rendered videos like 6 hours.

This baby opens in 5-10 seconds and the rendering is so much faster!!!

    Thank you Intel! =D

  • I have a HP G6 netbook with a core i3-330m 2.13ghz

Not bad processer...if your and average user i.e. emails, documents, web it will suit you fine.

If your more creative for example you do programming or edit videos you need a core i5 or more, because the Core i3 will struggle a bit, especially if your dealing with high HD content.

    Core i3 = 8/10 (my opinion) :)

  • Having trouble deciding on the i3 and i5, but im pretty sure the i3 will do me fine.

  • i'll have soon a new laptop, samsung, intel core i3, intel graphics, 2 gb ram memory, and a good hard disk, :D

  • lol the WOW gameplay was lagging but i know its a great processor so dont call me a hater, im planning to get the i5

  • i'm thinking of getting a Dell Vostro 3700, and it has a intel core 13 - 370m processer, would this run the sims 3?

  • @itsmeCobi

Yes. Hope it has a good amount of memory too.

One guy has a channel trying LOTS of games on a Core i3-350M laptop, take a look.

  • Is the i3 much better than the i5?

(because the i5 is much more expensive...)

  • @Tibb91 i have the i7 740qm

the best cpu, i've ever had...

    ! i3<i5<i7 !

  • Comment removed

  • @Tibb91 100% i5 doesn't have hyper threading and since it has turbo boost it will not give you lots of speed the whole time.

  • @SodhiFamily100 Yea, I understand!

Btw I was told that I won't see any difference betweem the Core i3 350M (2.26 Ghz) and the Core i5 450M (2.26 Ghz too) as an average user, because the only difference between them is the Turbo Boost.

And an average user will never use Turbo Boost.

  • @Tibb91 Wrong... The average user will use Turbo Boost. Unless you're running heavily threaded applications such as professional video rendering applications you're cpu will default to using turbo boost on things such as, web browsing, games (for the next 2 years or so games are going nowhere), music playback, movie playback and the OS. Go with the I5

  • @TheMichaelOwnz

Ok, but here in Hungarian the laptops equipped with i5 are much more expensive than other ones equipped with i3.

And all tihngs I wanna do on my laptop is:

warching Youtube, sending e-mails, listening to music, learning, and so on.

As you can see, nothing serious...

And people told me the Core i3 370M (2.4 Ghz) is totally enough for these things.

I agree with, and also wiht you.

  • @Tibb91 * I agree with them and also with you*

  • How ironic that while I'm watching this ad for I3, the video is lagging like hell. Not so smooth.

  • @kimcheolho Weird, because my i3 is streaming it fine! =]

  • I have a i3 running at 2.4 ghz and it's great for school use

    I highly recommend it

  • @mrfanclub747 i use a i7 740qm

it's also good for high end mobile gaming (in school)

  • Just out of interest, if i wanted to, would i be able to upgrade to an i5 core processor from an i3 core processor?

  • @Jamiei3 Ithink that you can.

  • amd still offers better price/performance. but the warranty and customer service at intel is better.

  • nice......... i got i7....... LOL!!!

  • any one have experience in this stuff and read my comment , plz tell me which i should choose for gaming pc , core i3 or core 2 duo ?

  • @MiZoSpaDe core i3 for sure, you can overclock them way past what c2duo's could do. You won't regret it.

  • @amishsuperhero thx for reply , but about the overclock , is it have any damage to the cpu ???

  • @MiZoSpaDe Just make sure you have proper cooling on your CPU, a good aftermarket CPU fan will work fine. And look at some guides for overclocking, you can get your i3 to 3.5-4.0 very easily, but i wouldn't push it past there unless you have watercooling or else you might fry it

  • @amishsuperhero thx bro , i'm gonna take your advise :)

  • @amishsuperhero They overclock about the same as Core2's.

  • @MiZoSpaDe Go for the i3. No point in buying a Core2/LGA775 DDR2 platform now, you'll just have to upgrade to a DDR3 platform next time anyways.

  • @Fortune2point0 thx ^^ i'm gonna pick the i3 , if i have more money i will choose the i5 with 4 cores then :)

  • I use both mac and pc. i just bought a laptop with this processor in it, and i have to admit, it runs really smoothly.

not out of the box, of course ; p i had to wipe the garbage it came with (hp G62-234DX btw) before it would run properly. win7Ult x64 is running now. i haven't tested graphics intensive stuff yet, (aero is really slick though) but that's because this is supposed to be a studio/school laptop. everything runs ridiculously smooth, and i have yet to see any lag in anything.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rolfstunner i3 is for the everyday user but i5 has turboboost; you'll notice a difference but if you want to save money then take the i3.

  • No details listed. Just a bunch of jargon and flashy videos.

  • Intel Rocks!!!

  • i bet they did this video with an i7 processor

  • Why the hell has Intel put a shitty GPU into their i3 and i5 processors? Any dedicated card is faster than that peace of crap, probably even Voodoo 2 and 3! Stupid Intel.

  • @medjugorjemir

You just don't understand what they're doing.

  • @Usul573 You mean that I don't understand how onboard integrated gpu solutions are much more efficient and not to say faster than those inefficient Intel gpus integrated into i3s.

  • Comment removed

  • 3,06 GHz Intel Core i3

    4GB RAM

    500 HDD

ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB

    iMac 21.5"

    Is that good?

  • @Clankl33t aside from it being a mac and only have a 256MB GPU... Thats a good computer

  • @Clankl33t very good yes

  • Comment removed

  • is an Intel Core i3-330UM good?

  • @chingx101 yep

  • @chingx101 It's a good processor, it might be the lowest end of the i3 cores, but don't be fooled.

  • u do not need an i7 or i5 , i3 is good enough

  • Comment removed

  • So whats the difference between i3 , i5 or i7 ?

Are they all quad cores ?

  • i have Core i3 2.93ghz with 2gb DDR 3 awesome performance up to yet i didnt get any pci express while im playing game 2 ....... its great awesome performance

NIce FOr me dont know abt u

  • get an AMD 6 core for about the same price

  • @backsider578 AMD wins on price, but in terms of performance, Intel has them beat by a long shot.

  • somebody plz help me out im a bit confuse abt which company's notebook to purchase plzz help me out dell or toshiba ?? my requirmnt is only intelcorei3

  • @AamirMuhd go with toshiba

  • @nickm2386

    thanks dude ... i just ordered TOSHIBA L500 INTEL CORE i3 ....... ! DAMN HAPPY :-D

  • @nickm2386 @nickm2386

    thanks dude ... i just ordered TOSHIBA L500 INTEL CORE i3 ....... ! DAMN HAPPY :-D

  • Intel <3

AMD is also extremely powerful, so no need to say its not, because in fact, it is =)

AMD Phenom!!! Intel Core 2 Quad!!! (I have Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300) ;)

  • Is an i3 better than a Core 2 Duo? Someone please answer...

  • @Richie2k6 yep, but they really are just re branded core 2's with the newer technology.

  • For the most part.

  • INTEL, the best CPU`s ever :)

  • @cobrastomas. if its ur thing. most of us are into cheaper stuff. for instance the core i3 (2 cores) is what you get for 100 bucks while with another 100 bucks you can get a amd athlon x4 (4 cores) for the same price. intel's core i7 (the good ones 4-6 cores) cost in between 500 to 1000 dollars while the best amd processor the amd phenom x6 (6 cores) costs around 300 dollars.

  • @JetJL

There's several Core i7s that are under $300.

  • @JetJL your can buy a intel cpu that pwns all amd cpus by 290 euros, nab.

  • i know the processor and stuff is one thing but doesnt most of the stuff like speed and less lagging have to do with the internet and the connection?

  • Im from philippines by the way, and it goes like 4,000 if im correct, hope its works on my laptop, so any suggies guys ? thanks in advance...planning to update my OS on Wins7

  • @redstrider It wont work, its a whole new design and the motherboard socket for the CPU is different. Most mainsteam laptops aren't meant for upgrades. Even if you had a desktop, with a motherboard for a Pentium dual core wouldn't be compat

  • @sakuranbo888 compatible

  • hmmm...im planning to install it on my laptop, just wanna feel what its like to have that new Intel core i3, i wonder if its compatible with my acer laptop 4736z, for now im running on Intel Pentium dual core. GUys enlighten me, will it ever be compatible with my laptop model ?

  • HOLY CRAP I3 is awesome! i used to have a 1.6ghz laptop with 1 g ram and a dual core pentium IT FAILED. The i3 handles everything with ease and its not gonna cost you ur life savings :D

  • 1. is the i3 good with powerful games with high on everything like spore, or sims 3

    2. is it quite cheap when buying it with a windows 7 laptop, because i want to play spore but my windows vista isn't that good

  • can a laptop wiht i3 and 4 gb ram run Call of Duty? or do i need i5 or 7

  • @skm00095 As I write this message on my brand new i3 proccesor i have CoD 4 opened. And I also have 4 GB RAM, so yes you'll be able to play it. :D

  • is intel i3 is the new intel core 2 quad ?

  • I got a laptop with an i3 core, and it runs BF2 everything on high with antialias X8. For budgets, this is a great processor. Don't listen to the haters.

  • @dhandle what laptop did you buy!? can it run battlefield at least in 30 fps? can it also run modern warfare?

  • @arturohernandez07 I got a Gateway NV59, in Canada it seems only Futureshop has it. It runs an i3 core, ATI HD5650, 4 GB ram, 640 GB HDD and loads more.

It runs BF2 on high settings without any lag, have not checked for FPS yet, but can guarantee you no problems with 30. I read somewhere MW was not a problem either.

    It's priced at 750$CND.

  • @arturohernandez07 I forgot to mention the most important part. The ATI HD5650 is a dedicated video card with 1GB ram, up to 4 GB capable.

  • @dhandle

I just ordered an i3 in a dell studio computer. It hasnt arrived yet, but i'm wondering if it will run games like Flight Sim X reasonably well, or if I should return it and upgrade the processor to i5. I didnt have the extra $150 to upgrade as I'm a student.

It's the 2.26Ghz i3-350M. I will have 6GB DDR3 RAM and the new ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 - 1GB Video Card on Dell's new 720p HD Display with Truelife. Thoughts?

  • @DJK290

Below are the minimum requirements for the game to "just" work. I do believe you should have no problems. You should be able to play on high settings, without AA on.

    Microsoft® Windows® XP SP2 / Vista

PC with 1 GHz equivalent or higher processor

256 MB of system RAM for Windows XP SP2 / 512 MB Vista

32 MB DirectX 9 compatible video card required

  • Comment removed

  • man i have core i3 overcloclked to to 4.0ghz with 8gb of ddr3 ram and a nvdia 9800 gt games great

  • @cerwinvegafan i think the i3 is a decent processor itself.....but dont ever use its intergrated graphics...i think its seriously bad....

  • its intergrated garphics are excellent for hd playback but dont expect 30fps when gaming

  • The intel graphics media accelator HD is a bad video card, it can't run many games without graphical glitches. For example ARMA 2 and tropico 3. It can run Operation Flashpoint dragon rising, but with an i3 proccesor it wil run very slow.

  • Dont listen to most of these morons. Research the CPU itself. The i3 is fine if youre on a budget and if you dont game that much. For gaming i would probably go with the i5 750 and a decent video card.

  • I LOVE MY CORE i3 !!!

  • I3 is absolute shit. got a new dell and they insisted it take i3 vs the core 2 duo. Biggest f*&king mistake of my life.

  • I actually hear this allot. I think i3 is one of the most over hyped POS CPUs Ive seen yet. Some dumb ass even tried to tell me that his i3 is better than an i7cos it can overclock better....... retarded

  • what kind of game can i play on i3 without a graphic card?

  • @StrikeWEE I play world of warcraft without a graphics card on the second to highest resolution and It's fucking beautiful.

  • Comment removed

  • i3 is cool!

  • i3 and i5 are junk. If you want a real processor spend the extra cash for an i7.

  • @LordSamuelJ lol, if u only use ur pc for gaming, all the i series is fine

  • have u seen how bad the performance for i3 is? Also I remember seeing terrible benchmarks by the i5... I believe Ive seen core 2 duo eat it in some benchmarks. i3 and i5 are over hyped and only considered good because of the Intel badge.

  • @LordSamuelJ hmm then what? amd? i need a chap gaming rig

  • I personally think that AMD is the best for cheap gaming rigs. Best bang for the buck.

  • @LordSamuelJ yea... phenom x4... with 4gigs of ram and a ati 5850 should be enough for a good gaming experience

  • lol thats like comparing a core i7 to an athlon

  • Im assuming your a fanboy, therefore your opinion doesnt matter. Read some benchmarks that are not sponsored by Intel or any other organization that is easily bribed, then you can talk.

  • does this beat quad core ?

  • the core i3 is a dual core so imagine not BUT it is way better then something like Core 2 Duo and the fact that it is a 1156 socket means you can future upgrade to i5 or even i7

  • No this processor is only a dual core.... Its special cuz it has a built in GPU so graphics can be processed.

  • but it using DDR3,is better than DDR2

  • Well so long Core 2 duo, the intel core 2 duo like the Pentium 4 before it, was a solid good CPU.

  • @GreenFont

The Pentium 4 was not a good CPU sorry....

  • @celderian screw off buddy, the pentium 4 during its time back in 2003-2004 was like Godly my P$ 531 is a beast!! it can still run BF2 max without so much as a hick or a millisecond of lag... perfectly smooth.

  • @acefilms2008 I'm speaking out of experience. The P4 was a joke compared to the Athlon of the same time, both in price and performance.

Although I will admit that it was still a powerful processor for it's time.

  • @Peemon mmmm yes if it were brand new.. my P4 right now is still in tip top shape, compared to my cousins athlon who died like 2 years ago? and his was not overclocked mine is on an overclock.. it also stands on reliability dude... yes it was cheaper and performed better but how long did it last?

  • @acefilms2008

the i3,i5 and i7 render previous CPUs obsolete. and by the way BF2 is an extremely easy game to run. the game's as demanding as photoshop i think =/

  • @bh3ader still ... bf2 is pretty demanding on a p4...

  • lolllll :))

  • renders previous CPUs obsolete to the user or to the market?? All I know is that I don't need more than my Core 2 Quad Q9550@3.4Ghz for pretty much anything.

  • well not really. its just the architecture and the other stuff are so much better compared to previous CPUs.

i have a old core 2 duo faster than most quads and even some i3s.

  • I noticed your comment and you seem to know what your talking about game wise. I have an i3 on my HP Pavilion Dv6 2150. Now I try and run Counter Strike 1.6 in it's lowest resolution and I don't get 100 FPS or even 60 fps constant, is there some option I need to select ? or.. ?

Please help me with this issue.

    Thanks in Advance.

    //xRisinx

  • the i3's pretty powerful for counterstrike

    maybe its your video card

  • What do you mean? Im on a laptop, everything is integrated. Anything I can try?

  • is i3-530 better than Q9300 ?
