The Emperor Ing I thought was a epic as shit. Actually, Metroid Prime 2 as a whole was epic and the most underrated out of the three. It's my personal favorite.

@LargeFG7777 I hated the loss of infinite ammo on the beams, from what I recall I went through most of the game only using the power beam because of that. Unlike MP1 where you could rock and roll with any beam you had available without even thinking twice about it.

Heck, the Light and Dark beams were basically the same as the Plasma and Ice beams respectively.

@LargeFG7777 Very true, I loved the dark beam and being able to create a fucking black hole and decimating a few enemies with it. The light beam was pretty cool, the annihilator was kinda pointless aside from shooting the light crystals with it and the fact it was over powered in multiplayer.

First/Second Phases: Frantic. This gives you a feeling that the Emperor is not happy because you killed off his race, and he is going to avenge you!

Final Phase: Really epic. Now only if you mash together This and Metroid Prime Exoskeleton Battle theme, and you have a formula for a really awesome boss song!

The last part of this boss is so easy if you have most of the beam ammo expansions. Just use annilator beam and he dies in like 5 seconds.

1st hardest boss in this game: Boost Gaurdian. Dont have to explain it...

2nd hardest: Spider gaurdian. That boss is so annoying...

Those two are definitely the hardest bosses in the game, no matter how you cut it.

The question of who's harder, though, differs. The Spider Guardian's a puzzle boss, whereas the Boost Guardian's just plain hard to hit and survive. People who are better at puzzle bosses will consider the Boost GUardian harder, but those who aren't the best at puzzles will despise the Spider Guardian.

The spider guardian is a pain in the ass. Given that you can only have so many energy tanks by then, I think the boost guardian is the toughest in this game. You can stand on top of those columns to avoid him (if he breaks one trying to hit you, you get the pickups inside it).

All the music in this series kicks ass. Right back to Super Metroid.

Wanna know my most PITIFUL death?

I was in the battle with Quadraxis. I had him really low on HP. He hits me hard and knocks me down onto my last tank, but I managed to finish him off. Watched the Cut-scene, ran and grabbed the Annihilator. Then it happened. The Freaking atmosphere killed me. XD

I think that of the 3 primes, The Boost Guardian is the hardest, because of the conditions you fight him, Low hp, no light beacons, morph ball only and fucking fast attacks

@Kajinumberone he was so fucking tough that he was toned down in the Metroid Prime Trilogy so they was a less frustrating pain in the ass to fight. (the Spider guardian was the only other boss out of the three games to receive that treatment)
