  • @OakPark11MileRd ...When it comes down to it, its whatever you like.

  • The Benedetto guitar is nice, but in my opinion the Gibson guitars sounds better.

  • @iamJROD This being a low quality recording, there would be absolutely now way for you to distinguish a Gibson from a Benny from anything else.

  • @jazzguitardotcom...I understand that the quality of this recording is low,but I have dvd's with John Pizzarelli playing a Benedetto guitar, and my conclusion is the same, Gibson guitars sound better. The Benedetto guitar has an acoustic, treble type of sound. The Gibson guitar has a warm type of tone, which in my opinion is more appropriate for jazz.. Another one of my opinions as far as jazz guitar is concerned is, Johnny Smith was the greatest jazz guitarist.

  • there are more from him?? fantasitcos arreglos de Buarque & Jobim!!

  • the middle player is phenomenal

  • Yeah Jack is amazing. And he is a really nice guy too. I have a lesson tape of he and my old guitar teacher from the mid-eighties and it is unbelievable! Check out his classic album Merge, and also go to his website. He has tons of great live clips of his playing.

  • Do have the complete Jack Wilkins clip? Fantastic rendition of 'Everything Happens To Me'. Gene's no slouch either.
