Prince addresses his father in the credits as "abba" John L. "abba" means Father. I guess he was still a little nervous about the whole "parent" thing.
Anybody who knows Prince, knows he's a comedian. He's a funny dude! This movie was strictly for his own personal enjoyment. I'm sure he and the band sat around and laughed at this on more than one occasion. I thought it was hilarious.
This is entertaining as a look back, but dang I did some stupid crap that was better than this in '87 when I was 16 had some drama department friends from my high school and a video camera. Not even good enough to be called Camp. The drugs must have been bad in '87. Good thing this never saw light of day in 87 or we may have had a Warner Bros falling out then, but WB would have pulled the plug, not the other way around.
The dude with the fur hat....was he in the Sign "O" The Times concert film? Pretty sure he was...
