To get 99,999 bells u have to switch date to 2000 and put 50,000 in the ATM thing in the town hall then save and switch date to 2035 and you'll get a letter and then go to town hall and take ur 50,000 out but it'll actually be 99,999 instead of 50,000

For everyone with trouble :

You pay 200,000 for a bridge, do the whole waiting game...Then you have to pay for a fountain 500,000 then lastly you pay for either a windmill or lighthouse. Only one can be chosen and the price 1,000,000.

No you cannot pay all at once and it all happens in that order. Any more questions, ask me.
