2. They started painting and replacing interior and paint back in 2008/2009, so the chances are you were on one of the few which were updated.

3. He's saying when you said the 747 has a long take-off ROLE (faulty English), he corrected it by saying it's spelled roll.

I like the airy ambience of DTW Airport. Its kind of an "American version" of CPH Airport which is also light and airy but with an even lighter Scandinavian feel and very relaxing as airports go.

I was on this flt a few yrs ago LAX-DTW-AMS-CPH. It WAS NWA but a 757(?!). Im not sure if it was scheduled but it was definitely rows of 3 and 3. Needles to say it was cramped- and full. I had the worst summer cold so it was a miserable experience! Luckily I had a window st and besides me was a kid abt 13 yrs old whos parents were seated several rows back. I told the F/A but she didnt react. I dont know if she just didnt get it or what. I didnt pursue it tho. Was too exhausted.

Three things.

1. If your seat was 27A why were you on the right side of the aircraft?

2. The only a330s that Delta now has are from the merger so they were NWAs, and the interior/cabin layout is NWA until Delta replaces them

Hey man awesome video! 5 Stars!.. I'm going on my 1st transatlantic flight on March 14th from Salt Lake City to Paris.. a 12hr flight lol.. They better have TV's because I tempt to get bored really easy.. I'm going on a 767 Delta.

That's a normal -400 takeoff, not really "slow" or "reluctant" to get off the ground. But of course, it feels slow after flying on an MD-80/90 or 757-200/300! I flew on NWA back in '07 to Hawaii, worst flight.. ever.

haha yea.. i know it from small flight.. but not a flight.. ive flow from houston to amsterdam its 11 hours.. but we had our own televison.. all you needed was a laptop or a psp.. so what were you guys gonna do in amsterdam anywas.. you know we only tranferede to take an other flight to denmark.

That airport at the end is Willow Run. It's used for general aviation private jets, charters, and cargo.

Really great video! The quality is really good. I completely agree with your comment about the Delta colors looking better on the A330's than the Northwest ones. Do you have any idea if KLM still flies the Amsterdam-Detroit route. I thought i heard they ended early 2009. And by the way, no PTV's on a 8hour flight really sucks, did that with Lufthansa between Frankfurt and Detroit, I'm sorry you had to feel the same thing bro

um, im not sure they do anymore. if they do then delta is gona take care of that. but i mean if they still go to chicago-amsterdam with the klm colors then they should still be doing that route

no PTV!? that is crap!! I had PTV on my flight to Amsterdam from Detroit, NORTHWEST operated A330! thats stupid! they have the best of technology for a plane and they don't have PTVs!! That sucks. sorry man.

Oh yeah, and that Delta "in flight programing" is the worst.

We flew on a Northwest (dubbed delta colors) Airbus a330-300 and it was perfect.
