Poniko doesn't have to be killed for Uboa to appear, the light just has to be turned off, with a 1/64 chance of Uboa appearing.

Unless you kill her and turn off the lights and you just happen to get the Uboa event that time while she isn't there...Then you're kinda stuck

I'm aware of that. :| Just pointing out that IF you were to kill Poniko and happen to get the Uboa event when you turn off the lights, you'll be stuck in there.

@VamJirachi It's impossible to both kill Poniko and get Uboa. Technically speaking, Uboa is a sprite change of Poniko and so, the whole event is connected to Poniko being...there. (killing an NPC makes his sprite vanish, obviously)

Also as far as I know you're always stuck in the room if Uboa appears. The door locks, if I remember correctly, and the only way to leave either the room or the area Uboa leads to (one of the biggest mysteries of the game, by the way), is waking up.
