You're absolutely right. Hitting that question-mark cloud does slow me down for a good 0.5+ seconds. I wanted to spam the remainder of my eggs in the most amusing way possible. During practice runs I was hitting the cloud for fun, but I made a mental note to not do that in the real run because, as you said, it's slower.
Of course, when I did well and was approaching the possible winning footage, I got nervous; freaked out, and hit it anyway. >_>;
At 0:50, when you hit the bubble cloud, it looks like it slowed the game down a bit. Is this because of the camera no longer following Yoshi for a tiny bit, or is it actually slowing it down?
Either which way, that was awesome. Hope to see you update your SS run one day, seeing as how you're the only one who could do it.
