  • Also, I used to think the scenarious were weird as hell. For example:

John has 32 candy bars and he eats 28 of them. What does John have now?

    Diabetes.

    John has diabetes.

  • Did anybody else just stick around to the end?

  • 97 degrees.

  • OMG! I hate thoughs math problems... they are like completly useless to learn. lol

  • No Maths!

  • So it was 5am in the morning?

  • Did that triangle just wink at me?

  • How did i miss this video?

  • Hypotenuse, pythagorams theory

  • the first triangle is a 90 degree angle because it is the right angle but it wont equal 180 degrees so it is incorrect either way and therefore unsolvable

  • @jimmy345960 It doesn't say it's a 90 degree angle, you just assumed it. It could be 89 or 91 so it IS solvable.

  • pause at 0:14 it says later twice

  • ok so Anna is 15 and her sister 20...

  • @TheNoiseySpectator It's 1 hour, like I said to SycoticSmurf, you have ALREADY DRIVEN FOR TWO HOURS

  • @SycoticSmurf It's 1 hour. I'm 11 and I can work that out. If you are driving at 40km/h and you need to go 120km, it will take you 3 hours because 120 divided by 40 is three. If you have driven for two hours already, you have one hour left. Seriously.

  • @smilingmouth WOW YOUR 11. WELL FUCKING DONE!!! seriously no one gives a shit what age you are

  • They are all wrong, it's more like 3 hours

  • 1 hour! lol :)

  • @elephantasmic

No....she's already been driving for 2 hours of a 3 hour trip, which makes the answer 1 hour.

  • X=180-45-38

     =97

  • Wheres Natalie? Now that's a real problem.

  • If you do the math the missing angle for the triangle is 97 degrees but its at a 90 degree angle so that doesnt make any sense.

  • @kittenchowpooky7 I think text books purposely make the actual angles different to what they say they are so you can't just use a protractor.....

  • I miss these kind if videos :'(

  • Thumbs up if you tried to solve the problems.

  • 1 hour!

  • those are problems that my cacl teacher would refer to as "chicken level" problems.

  • anna is 5, you are 10.

  • ur vids make good fb statuses

  • [/nerdmode]Just sayin, but those angles are wrong.[/nerdmode]

  • I use to love solving those problems as a kid and I still do. I'm a software developer so I apply that kind of math almost everyday.

Love your vids by the way. You're hilarious.

  • anna is -5

  • Comment removed

  • I'm doing a degree in maths...

  • @blah00100blah I'm doing a Ph.D in maths, come the fuck at me bro.

  • 1 hour o________o

  • We don't even know what age the older sister is...

  • Anna is -5 years old (?) and the last question is poorly written and the correct answer is 3 hours, not 1 hour.

  • OMG I HAD THAT EXACT HAND SHAKING QUESTION THE OTHER DAY....

  • Should be 90 degrees according to the picture but it's really 97

  • How old is Anna? the only thing I get is Anna is -5 and Natalie is 0 :P

  • Just discovered you, and you madam are freaking hilarious!!!!!!! now subscribed!

  • @aleman1818 dont bother, everyone is cheating on her with jennamarbles because she doesnt love us anymore :(

  • Math can help you to figure that, when going from point A to point B in a city, when both points are on different streets which cross and are normal to each other, it's shorter to take a diagonal. But not in Manhattan, when all intermediate streets are parallel to the two streets mentioned above. The diagonal of a square is equal to the sum of the square's length, if you take the Manhattan distance :)

  • LMAO "you better or I'm gonna kill you"

  • Latest research says problem solving ability declines from age 45. The only skill that improves from then on is vocabulary.

GREAT! So now we can bemoan our ineptitude with verbal dexterity!

YEAH WOW, some fuckin deal. :(

  • hahhaa :D just passed my uni thinking admission test and it had some typical questions :D

  • haaahahaha....i will be her boyfriend and she can give math all day and night

  • i originally saw this video at 3:20PM central time in the US. If it takes me 200 seconds to get up and make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and 300 seconds to eat it, how good was the sandwich?

  • @HypnotizeCampPosse

Not very, sandwiches are only good after 500 seconds after midnight.

  • @ccaian1 central time or eastern standard time?

  • Very funny, nice video! :)

  • we use calculus for real world problems

  • I do not speak your language, most of you agree to marry me?

  • if that problem takes you any longer than 7 seconds to solve you should go back to school

  • I got here by a tweet from Youtube=)

  • With the unidentified angle, if it's a right angle then it should be 90 degrees, right?

  • Anna looks pretty hot

  • 0:23 It doesn't make sense because she says she's only 5 years older than Anna, but in 10 years she will be double her age. The only way Anna could be 5 years younger and half her age, her sister was 10, and Anna 5. But then your forgetting the "10 years time" part. So Anna's sister must be 0 years old and Anna must be -5 years old. Because if it was 20 and 15 in ten years, Anna wouldn't be half her age.

CONCLUSION: She is 0 years old and Anna is -5 years old. lol stupid question.

  • If you have 120km to your destination driving at 40km/h it'll take 3h to get there. And it was 200km to the destination from your starting location since you'd been driving for two hours, given that you drove at 40km/h then as well.

    Just saying...

  • 0:14 the answer is 5:00 AM

0:29 I got x=-5, so I don't know what the actual answer is

    0:37 x=97 degrees

1:01 well, she shook hands with 8 people if she shook hands with everyone.

    1:34 1 hour

  • @tsgirl24 Anna is -15, Nat is -10

  • Comment removed

  • @geoog1 wait, so Anna is 15, and Nat is 10? How did you get that? *I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a bother, I just like to know how to solve problems like this*

  • @tsgirl24 I messed it up, that's how I got those numbers (both negative by the way). You got it right with Anna being -5 years old (which makes Nat 0 years old).

  • The answer is one hour I just didn't feel like clicking it

  • No maths

  • triangle: ill be your boy friend ;O

LOL win at the voice xD

  • Unidentified angles caused my death.

  • got negative value for the age question Nat! my Mom is not happy right now ...

  • nat, your sister's age doesn't make sense...

  • 1hour

  • This shit is mad funny! Cheers mate!

  • but you're asian!!! we asians are supposed to be smart!

  • 5 o clock

  • No maths

  • Six hours ago, it was two hours later than three hours before midnight: 5 o clock.

  • 0:14 anyone notice that she wrote later twice? and also i took the time to solve it and got 5:00 AM :3

  • x=97 .... sorry im asian i coundn't help but to solve for the angle....

  • @Cehrola dumbass. it's 5 o'clock

  • It apples to science and engineering. And can be used in a few other things. Stresses loads, planning all that stuff. General use no to little

  • It is 11 o'clock, Anna is -5 (you are 0...how the fuck does that work?), that angle is 97 degrees, then DNE (does not exist) cause you have no friends, and finally 1 hour...but it would have been funnier if you didn't have the correct answer as a choice...

  • Kilometres? What are those?

  • Cute girl, but I always find this "no one ever applies math, right? ahahaha" to be quite uninformed and rather "anti-intellectual", which can be pretty dangerous.

I'm getting a engineer's degree and enjoy the math classes even more than those with some kind of "real life application". I like how it gives you the tools for gaining a more general understanding of the world and how things work.

It's all just a matter of how much you think about stuff.

  • stop being stupid, people. take 180 minus the two given angles. pictures aren't always drawn to scale.

  • Like if you weren't the only dumbass who went on google to find the triangle problem! :)

  • @ShuffleSaTiSfAcTiOn1 nope...we all did

  • It's 5:00 AM, age thing is impossible.., angle is 97 and it will take 1 hour before she reaches her destination.. :P

  • Ami the only one that paused to figure out the angleÉ

  • the answer to the triangle is 97 duh

  • a-cute triangle

  • It's 5am

  • Comment removed

  • They always have complicated names too! It's never "Gary went to the shops..." it's always "Rajmajiid went to the shops..." lol

  • it's 5:00 AM

  • U USED MY NAME YAAAAAAAAAY :D(anna)

  • Hey, I wonder what's the equation of your melons.

  • of course the Asian youtuber would have us doing math problems...

  • The response to the first math question was right on par. "Your *bleeeep* ed!" lol.

  • 0:12 It says "...It was two hours later later..." I WIN THE SMARTNESS DUAL, @bananatoes1 !

  • communitychannel only does subtraction problems with your mother's clothes boom

  • 38 + 45 = 83

    180 - 83 = 97

    the missing angle is 97

    oh right

  • LMAO thehands one was so funny. in my head i was ready to do permutations and then i realized the question was HOW MANY hands did you shake... psh there were only 8 ppl at the party. -_-. 8 handshakes...

  • @rb15243 I'm really stubborn, an I stand by my answer. Anna is 15. Nat is 20. In ten years, Nat will be 30. 15 is half of thirty. I WILL NOT BE WRONGED!!!

  • @bananatoes1 yeah, but Anna gets older too remember? so in 10 years, she will be 25, hence, not half 30.

  • @bananatoes1

Yeah if Anna is 15 then Nat is 20, in 10 years Anna will be 25 and Nat will be 30.

The difference will ALWAYS be 5 years, and so only way she can be half as old is if they are 5 and 10!

So Anna is -5, Nat is 0 years old, and in ten years time Anna will be 5 and Nat 10!

  • the answer is you have lovely breasts

  • @Jaidequ Maybe it was a slight difference in angle.

  • @Mermez3000 Check your work, man. She's 15.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @bananatoes1 If Anna was 15, then her older sister would be 20. 10 years down the line Anna would be 25 and her sister 30. Both Anna and her sister age 10 years over 10 years. Mermez3000 is correct.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @bananatoes1 check your's she's -5!

  • @Mermez3000 yea that's what i got, but i think she meant nat's age 10 years later will be double anna's current age.

  • @b3ti3 that would make more sense. though in all likelihood she just said random things without actually having a specific problem/answer in mind!

  • you should get me a note excusing me from math class

  • I don't even know how to do the question and i'm in the 12th grade, how sad.

  • @yukibee1112 that would he 157 nickels.

  • HAHAHAHAHA ! ! ! LOL a triangle LOL ^.^

  • you will be driving for one hour...but you would get their faster in a batmobile...

  • @Shaytarder Buddy the Elf. What's your favorite color?

  • Anna is -5 years old. That's the only way it works.

  • @RiksK15 lol im becoming frustrated when i cant get the answer on the top of the comments lol

  • I'm fairly sure Anna is negative five years old, which is pretty hilarious if you ask me.

  • Six hours ago it was two hours later

later than three hours before midnight.

    ==

    What is this Nat?

  • @closetsweethearts I mit have to take you up on that.

  • anna is definitely not 15. she's -5.

  • Actually if you have 120 km left you will still have to drive for 3 hours at 40 km regardless of how long you were driving before...

  • It's like 5 am, she's 15, the angle is 97 degrees ( though that's wrong cus the unidentified angel is actually 90 degrees meaning that the angel that says 38 degrees is actually 45 degrees), you shook hands with 8 ppl and you'll drive for an hour.

  • If Nat says that she'll post a video in three days, but she hasn't in a month, when will she post a video?

  • You know the first situation, the "six hours ago it was two hours later than three hours before midnight"? It was 5 AM in that scenario. :)

  • Hmmm. Didn't know Aussies drove on the left.

  • wait, isn't the answer 3 hours?

  • You Have 3 Hours, If You Have 120km Left Untill Your Destination 40x3=120 Regardless Of How Long Youve Driven Before.

  • Why is Anna -5 years old?

  • she would need one hour. (dats so simple, just multiply 40 and 2, then subtract that answer to 120 and your answer would be 40km, which is equal to one hour

  • 1:00pm

  • 5 am annas 5 and 90 degrees

  • whatever it is, theres an app for it

  • 1. 5am

    2. Anna is five years old

    3. 97 degrees

    Math whiz, fukk yeaa

  • @elephantasmic Anna is -5 years old.

    Anna=-5; -5+10=5

    Nat=0; 0+10=10

    10/2=5

    Anna is -5 years old.

  • @Dakkosa Will this one help you solve anything? Check it out! "Speed maths- Multiplying without multiplying". Click on my username and check the vid. Cheers.

  • That's not even a right-angle!

  • 1 hour

  • The first answer is- 5:00 IN THE MORNING.

The second answer is- to be honest...idk.

The third answer is- 90 degrees.

  • @TheTina503 180-45-38=97. It's 97 degrees.

  • the ghost dance is awsome

  • you got prettier...lol no homo

  • you lost me at kilometer...

  • It's 5 am, anna is 15, the unidentified angle is 97 degrees, nat shook hands with 8 people, and youll be driving for an hour.

  • @bananatoes1 ok, marry me already because that´s one of the hottest lines i´ve ever heard!

  • @bananatoes1 who are you?

  • @bananatoes1 actually Anna is -5

  • Comment removed

  • @bananatoes1 you're wrong about anna's age

  • It's 5 AM...

  • good lord..... you are amazing..... i love ur jokes.... are u a professional comedian, bcz u will have a very bright future....

  • ...it's 5 o'clock.

  • If you have 120km to you destination it doesn't matter how long you've been travelling, thus the answer is actually 3 hours ASSUMING that you don't change your speed. Which is quite unlikely because would you seriously drive 120km at 40km/h? That's a pretty big school your driving round Nat...

  • 4moar Riddles and Puzzles check out my channel :) vids are posted every day most being short ~30 seconds long and are pretty challenging. Thanks!

  • i got that car question right because when i saw that one was green, one red and one blue i just thought that the green one had to be the right one. i mean.. com on, who wouldn't?

  • Like if your wondering why nat hangs out with people at 5am ( 0:13 problem anwsered :D)

  • holy crap obama, please shove your fucking job act in my face some more!!!

  • I'm bored so I bothered to do the math,

Anna is 15 years old, and the unknown angle on the triangle was 97 degrees :)

  • @hanock1998 umm... that's a right angled triangle, which means x= 90 degrees.

  • @Acerulz1996 it never specifies that it is such; you can't assume in math, even if it 'looks' like a right triangle
