The demon transformations are caused by a red vial that can be seen throughout the game, it gives alive power. You see with the game you have a health bar and then a blue bar lets say it's like her 'mana'. You get the red vial and she can do attacks without losing any of her 'mana'. The children are just for background. Gives it more of a creepy effect.

The 3 doors are behind a red cicle door way that I just came from so I can`t go back
