Ugh, fuckin' anarchists. I got nothing against certain anarchist principles, but these people just asses out of themselves. Their plan is usually this: "Act goofy, wear awful clothes, quote some shit we heard on the internet." A lot of anarchists give radicals and leftists bad names, mainly because it's hard to take these goofs seriously half the time.

I've always associated the rainbow flag with political methods.

Perhaps these people have expunged that aspect of it from their understanding, as truly anarchist communists have expunged government control from their meaning of the color red.

Yeah, what are you talking about? If you are referring to the use of the pink and black flag then that's because that relates to Queer Anarchism, like how purple and black relates to Anarcha-feminism, red and black; anarchist-syndicalism or a-communism.

In addition, when has government control ever been a factor within the meaning of the colour red?

The Soviet /Bolshevik revolutionaries gave red a bad rep.

I was talking about the rainbow flag, not the pink-and-black. I always see that (rightly or wrongly, certainly wrongly in some cases) as being related to political activities or stances, some of which I have serious problems with.

Since I posted the video, I'll add my 2 cents.

As for the flag commentary, flags don't necessarily have to denote a political movement. I've always associated the flag displayed in the video as well as the Rainbow flag with a lifestyle choice, or a show of solidarity as much as anything else. While there are obvious political undertones to both the "traditional" (rainbow) Gay and Gay Anarchist movements, the use of a flag shouldn't necessarily be seen as identical to, say, a hammer and sickle
