  • @HiRaMoB She's basically saying what she wrote in the description, and that she hopes we enjoy it. Which i did!

  • @HiRaMoB She says, "Hello, here is a new song titled 'Lucky'. Jason Mraz and Cob..lbey Callet...I think. Not sure how to spell it. I hope you enjoy it. My friend, Aaron. I hope you enjoy."

  • SO adorable! Beautifully done :)

  • @livirox97 yeah yeah yeah!!!! That would be so cute!!!

  • This is so great! Great job! I watch this a million times if I could. I am talking ASL and loving it. :)

  • THANK YOU! I can't say that enough...I wasn't looking for "Lucky" but I was excited that there are folks out there translating songs. I really loved the musical interlude sign...Is it just style or a specific sign?

I'm not ASL fluent, but I'm learning . I "sing" to my non-verbal 3 year old but it's hard to translate the songs sometimes. Thank you!

  • 1 47 (cc included) diablo lol xd

  • A person who embraces ASL as their primary language will be considered a member of the Deaf community. I find many hot & sexy deaf girls on a Deaf dating site ----Deafornot dot c om----Good luck to them!!!

  • So in sync! Love it!

  • Funny I watched "Drop Dead Diva" recently, and the main character sang this song. And indecently I'm trying to learn ASL (It's hard to when your the only person interested in learning in your house). ^_^ Thanks for the song, both in sound and ASL. :-)

  • Beautiful! I like your ASL compared to a lot of people on youtube. This is lovely.

  • any chance you could post the gloss for this song? i'd really appreciate it, as i use it to learn new signs.

you're awesome by the way =]

  • @mudridingqueen..at 2:02 R-index finger from lips to L-palm 3 taps is "fall in love" at 54 sec, it looks like she's doing "stay"

  • Awesome job guys!!!

  • Can you do this with Every Duet type song! It's perfection at it's finest. I watch expression above anything else all day every day. So I could put the movements and expression together and knew it! It's great! ; )

  • this is beautiful!!!

  • ALLOT of deaf peoplei know mouth words so she learned how i did.

  • I am a mute and I feel like when this is more of an expression of the passion of the song through the actions :) Thank you Ally :))

  • Omg, at 1:06 to 1:08 , you guys nail each sign at the same time, thats but anyway~ I love this video~! thanks to my sign lang. tearcher, she showed me and my class this video, and once I got home, I watched it~! lol. Anyway, Wanted to say that keep up the good work, I'll be right behind, following you, Cuz I think you are like the best signer I seen so far~! :D And, if you like, as me for

  • This is really a beautiful song; never heard it before. You all did a really good job with the signing. It would be nice if you'd do a slower preview of the song before you put it altogether with the music. Sometimes you're so into the music and signing it's confusing to watch, as an amateur, especially because the signs don't directly translate to the words of the song.

  • please! stop mouthing the words while your signing! such a distraction!

  • @wallflowerzeen Hey, she can do what every she wants, so lay off. Like lots of mother says, "If you have nothing nice to say, tehn shut your trap!"

    ~Fox

  • @ansfrid I believe that's the sign for "Dream"

  • OMG. I love it~!!! I watch it over and over again

  • This video is so sweet.

  • Ok I have watched this probably a hundred times. There is two signs I just don't know how to gloss or what they are. one is the 2 Y hands, it looks like try but im not sure, The second is the D hand hitting the palm of your left several times, I'm just hoping you can answer that for me please,

  • Great cover :) and by the way, you both are cute :)

  • This is beautiful!

  • I hope one day the blind can see and the deaf can hear

  • @bunnyhop212 we get closer all the time:) the surgerys are just horribly expensive

  • @bunnyhop212 Deaf people value their culture, and most don't wish to hear. In fact, being deaf allows you to develop many advantages that hearing people don't have, for they don't have to rely on sound to function

  • @bunnyhop212 Some Deaf people would be very offended by that statement. I understand your intent, but many Deaf people are very proud to be so, and they fully embrace it. Please don't misunderstand me, I know you meant that in a kind manner, but Deafness is not a disadvantage. I've met many Deaf people that reject the idea of trying to "find their place in the hearing world." This is their world too, and they embrace their Deafness the same way hearing people embrace their ability to hear. :)

  • @mychemisyummy They get their own language too. And they can pick up on peoples tells better/faster than most hearing people which is awesome.

  • @bunnyhop212 That's sweet. But most Deaf folks I know don't want to be hearing. They're happy just the way they are :)

  • @bunnyhop212

    Me, too. *smile*

  • @bunnyhop212 The deaf don't hope that one day they can hear, only hearing people think that something needs to be fixed.

  • @mattdeaf1 This is a 100% serious question. I can hear and see and wish everyone could, not because they're broken but because a sunrise is so beautiful...hearing the rain fall on a tin roof is amazing and peaceful and I would like everyone to have experience. I also wish everyone could go to Disneyland because I believe it is magical, but many never will never have the money to go.

That being said, are there things that hearing people can't experience because they hear?

  • @appletrice yes....Deaf people have heigtned senses....so they can see that sunset clearer, or feel the vibration of bass in a song, I know plenty of deaf people who listen to the radio becuase they like the feel, and deaf people dont feel bad about not hearing these things because most of them have NEVER heard them, to hear them would be abnormal for them, just as it would be for a hearing person to be deaf.

  • @mattdeaf1 I agree that we don't miss something we've never had. I realize there are people who think that deafness is a defect, not a difference. Deafness is a scary concept for the hearing because it is a huge wall between a person and the world. When I realized my son wasn't hearing it was a nightmare because for 2 years he was living in a world where he was alone without any tools to communicate. A year later he hears, but only speaks ASL. Our goal should be to communicate as we are.

  • @appletrice Well, i've been dating my bf for over a year now and he is deaf, it was a huge diffrence but i love it, i wouldn't have him any other way, He loves being deaf and i love learning sign. He always invites me to his deaf friends and i have several now, don't worry, if you let ur son wear hearing aids, even if it is just a year or two, he will learn how to talk very easily, my boyfriend talked from 1st grade up until 6th and he can still hold a wonderful clear conversation without

  • @appletrice hearing aids.

  • @appletrice amother way to get him around kids who are also deaf or hearing impared is to let him go to a deaf school. its just and idea i would like to give you.

  • @angewah09 Thanks for the suggestion! I'll start looking for a private preschool or a playgroup that might have him. After almost a full year they conclusively determined that he has enough hearing to develop speech. I have no idea what was wrong, but slowly through December and January he began to hear if he pressed his ear against the speakers at high volume. He's growing a vocabulary in English and ASL but still can't produce speech. He enjoys things more in ASL because he can produce signs.

  • @appletrice Something to always remember- don't pity someone for being different. :) I know it seems like a defect to be deaf, but it's not. The deaf people/CODAs I know all say that they have virtually no hindrances, other than ignorant people thinking them stupid. (And when I say CODAs, I'm not saying that they're deaf; their parents.) Just food for thought. :)

  • @Frubahboi That is so true! It's really hard to see people treating my son like an imbecile because he doesn't speak with his voice.

  • @appletrice Which is ridiculous. Actually, some of my favourite comedians are Deaf or CODA, and they're hella funnier than anyone else I've ever seen!

  • @bunnyhop212 but some deaf/blind people love the way they are...they view it as a gift or something that makes them unique or special. :)

  • @bunnyhop212 Well, in a way deaf people can hear, in their own way. And they can read faces better than most hearing people. And look at Helen Keller. Blind and deaf.

  • Is anyone out there that is deaf or knows sign language live in Las Vegas? I would really LOVE to have a deaf friend. The only reason I can sign is because of my nephew. Just respond to me, please(:

  • Wow I have been learning ASL for about 5 months now and love How I could understand all of it. You are very skilled. I love that you did this song it is my absolute favorite, Thank you so much for doing this.

  • Beautify

  • What is the sign where you hold your index finger up, and look like you scratch the air in front of you. You use it a lot in your videos, and I've not seen it anywhere else. You seem to use almost like a question mark...maybe that's what it is?

I've never seen that up my way.

  • I'm not deaf but i love these videos anyway! Good job.

I have a suggestion, since deaf ppl can't hear the background music, perhaps you could show ppl playing instruments on the screen at the same time as well. They wouldn't actually have to be playing it, just getting the timings right.

  • @violagrl34

they may not beable to hear, but they can feel the music! and having instruments wouldn't help and would take away from the two here interpreting :)

  • @violagrl34

????? They enjoy "music". They just don't use instruments! They use their hands! There is a difference in singing and conversation in signing, the flow of the sentences and the language is obviously distinguishable. I'm hearing, but it is really starting to frustrate me when hearing people think that they can help the Deaf understand things! They can do everything a hearing person can do except hear.

  • @violagrl34

how will deaf people know how each instrument is suppose to sound..

  • @violagrl34 They usually get the timings by the speed/tempo/rate of the signer. :)
