  • "Most awesome"? How about, you know, Mr Rogers? The dude that basically created the modern kids show. He created the whole people on screen talking to the at home audience meme, for example. Sure, Sesame Street did it, but they came along AFTER Rogers went on air.

  • @XsonjagogirlX Bert and Ernie rock, but I still -3 cookie monster and elmo!

  • Burt and Ernie are the best

  • there brothers!!

  • Burt and urine are fucking brothers

  • Add in a new character for Bert and Ernie to fight over to teach the lesson of perseverance.

  • you look like my freshmen year teacher, Ms. potter.

  • i never watched seseme street........i watched starwars

  • i loved sesame street!

  • 3:42 lol his voice

  • I don't think I could agree more.

  • @SportsGuy281 if they made Spongebob and patrick gay, I would cry. Not tears of joy.

  • the government send subliminal messages to distort our sub-conscienceness

  • 00:10 and the muppets!

  • Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuddeeee I forgot about Dan for 2 years, but Duuuuuuuuuuuuuudeeee I found him again whoaaaaaa

  • @IdiosoAmericano Man you misssed a lot

  • i defiantly agree with you dan that it is not an issue that kids of the target demographics should need to worry about or could even take in

  • I always thought Bert and Ernie were brothers... them being married would be awkward for me.

  • @JJFLIP101 i did too... wait, they arent???

  • youjust ruined my childhood ._.

  • Spongebob and Patrick need to be announced gay to make a difference. Kids that watch that are like 6-13 years old, i watched on and off till i was 16!

  • MEH. wind.

  • I always thought bert and ernie were brothers.

  • honestly i hated sesame street because i always thought " wtf theyre so lazy to make animated cartoons in the computer " so i jsut didnt watch it

  • THEY ARE FUCKING PUPPETS! Not only that, they represent CHILDREN. Because the show is watched BY CHILDREN!

The other puppets never got married, straight or gay.

    FUCKING STUPID!

  • Why can't they just be friends...? I mean seriously, if I have a best friend should I just marry him because I like hanging out with him all of the time? >.> I do think some parents would get upset and PBS would be sending messages that don't really need to be sent. Oh and btw, we share like the same views on Sesame Street, pogobat. You're like my hero. :3

  • I don't think the worry is that children will or will not derive a lot from Bert and Ernie marrying. I think the concern is that if the pair get married, the response of many parents freaking out and telling their children how wrong this is will have a terrible impact.

  • 3:38 YES!! dan the BEST platform for this! as a child, they dont need to understand the deeper meaning behind bert and ernie getting married, all they need to get is that they're getting married. its easy to influence a kid which can be good and bad. they need to be influenced in the RIGHT way, perhaps by seeing their two favourite characters on their favourite tv show get married. it doesnt need to be bert and ernie on seasme street that starts this but it DOES need to happen somewhere.

  • nooooot a good idea.

  • The way I look at it, is that it should be addressed if not accepted in our society that being gay is a way of life and in no way, shape or form is it wrong. The media has a very large impression on our society and I personally think that the true benefit of Sesame Street introducing or or reintroducing characters as gay would be that kids would grow up seeing it for what it is -- normal. The term 'different' varies for everyone and I don't think being gay is being different. It's being yourself

  • i think that they should leave bert and erine as best friends because they r teaching kids how to get along with each other and how to make friends and really kids at that age dont understand about gays and that kid of stuff.

  • @NecroPillow But they would still descover their sexual orientation later anyway, people grow out of cooties and become curious, and there are other non bisexual couples on Sesame Street. So how is this different? It's just telling them to be comfortable with who they are.

  • @NecroPillow That's like saying by showing little girls "Cinderella" turns their male playmate into their prince charming or boyfriend. People don't seem to have an issue with that.

  • @NecroPillow TV won't change a child's sexuality. What would make you think that?

  • I Used To Watch Blues Clues. I Had A Steve Shirt (Character From The Show)

    ...Still Have It. :P

  • Why do people have to complicate things and make everything sexual? Why can't something be simple and innocent?

Bert and Ernie are characters on a little kids show. Two men can sleep in the same room and not be gay. (not that there's anything wrong with that) I always thought they were brothers or best friends- or even roomates.

Adults have to go out perverse childrens shows.

  • @bebebe8484 Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

  • @bebebe8484 Actually, up until recently, it was common for adult men to participate in activities that would be seen as blatantly homosexual to modern men. Men commonly shared a bed at hotels, friends walked hand in hand on city streets. If you go look at pictures of men in Victorian England or even America for that matter, they look in some cases flammingly homosexual. Yet most had wives and families.

  • Dan if you like Sesame Street you should watch Yo Gabba Gabba. It's seriously the greatest kid's show ever.

  • The real problem is not whether Bert and Ernie are a couple. The problem is that many people have an intolerance toward gay men, and so see any deep and long lasting relationship between two men as wrong, and so label it as gay. This has gotten into the male psyche: how many of us guys have such relationships? Maybe if the gay-rights wing realised this, more men would be keen to have deeper relationships with fellow men.

  • Did you see the Sesame Street episode with Jack Black it was really funny

  • Thts 1 big zit....

  • I have never watched sesame street so I watched some of the clips on youtube....its creepy im sorry but i find that creepy!

  • I was a Cartoon Network/nickelodeon child. Those shows creeped me the fuck out

  • Also, it would show children (since children are quite impressionable) that you can't be a male with a male best friend without being considered gay or married to that person.

  • @CrazyLazySnazzyJazzy /watch?v=k_QDGdbg-QQ

  • @Thatsamistery I ain't gay but i gotta ask WHY do you think being gay is wrong? could you give me a honest answer to that?

  • Teaching children that being gay is WRONG, and I can believe that this show will do this. America is full of dumb people. lol

My kids won't watch this crap, or anything that supports gays

  • @Thatsamistery You sad sad person

  • i didn't think there was anything wrong with best friends living together. i pretty much spent my entire childhood wishing i could live with my best friend too.

  • Teaching children that being gay is all right is good, and showing it in a tv show would be a relaxed way of demonstrating it. However, there's still the issue of the parents. The parents that are all right with letting their children see a casual gay couple on tv usually aren't the people who will tell their children that gay marriage is a bad thing. It would end up being a bit redundant.

  • I always just assumed Bert & Ernie were good friends & roommates.

  • Well Dan, in highschool we always suspected you were Gay.

  • I LOL`D at this title for a minute

  • Hey Dan, how do you style your hair like that?

  • i would more think big bird and snuffy was gay they surely at more gay than anyone else

  • I always hated barney as a little kid elmo was all the rage

  • 3:42 spasm

  • i agree with you, dan. when i watched sesame street, i thought boys had cooties and i still thought "gay" meant "happy". wedding bert and ernie would cause too much controversy and wouldn't do much for the kids watching it, anyway.

  • I love that your opinions are so structured and you aren't trying to tell anyone what to think. I watch your channel all the time and you're very refreshing. :)

  • Marriage equality is a ridiculous concept. The idea of government control of a social choice like marriage is a repulsive statist position. We should abolish marriage on a government level and repllace it with a benefit contract system.

  • They are brother is in my view. Getting married for them is like teaching kids what is wrong in human nature.

  • i think you missed the fact that some kids have 2 fathers or 2 mothers and aren't really told by any outside sources that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, and (speaking from experience) those kids are subject to bullies and such and if everyone was educated about same sex couples at a young age it might help curb the (currently) inevitable harassment kids get for their fathers and mothers being who they are

  • Its an interesting thought, thats for sure. I look at all these comments talking about I DON'T WANT MY KID TO blah blah blah, and surely that's your right, though I don't think any show, kid or otherwise, is prone to that kind of thinking. Perhaps if they made it internet only or let the parents know before hand whats going to be explained so the parents can decide if they'll let their kids watch it. On the other hand, I've had the thought 'should kids know about ANYTHING sexual at that age' -c-

  • @Brendanofthecult it came to my attention I know a gay couple that have three kids. How do they bring that up? Maybe it would be good for a kid-friendly explanation for gay marriage. But still, no matter how much I whine and complain, or even think outloud, its not up to me, its up to them.

  • Sesame Street is more of an academically educational show, as in teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic. I don't think teaching "values" is the role of the show. Values vary across different worldviews and religions. If Sesame Street began teaching values of a specific worldview (i.e., postmodernism and sexual freedom), it would no longer be a simple educational show and would gain lots of opposition from opposing worldviews (e.g., Christian fundamentalism).

  • @PockASqueeno (cont'd from last comment) Educational kids' shows should remain neutral when it comes to hot button issues like homosexuality and not enforce certain beliefs into children. That's the job of parents.

  • I was more of an arthur/ zoboomafoo girl myself but I have to say "Rubber Ducky" was my jam when I was 4, and snuffaluffagus is as well pretty awesome.

  • I never actually liked Sesame Street. I found it incredibly boring. Sorry Elmo :/

  • .. while I listen to this is it strange I for some reason start thinking about a stick getting shoved up my ass

  • @44444w Very painfully

  • Have Sesame Street ever tackled an issue about sex of any kind before? I for one wouldn't want my small child subjected to learning anything about sex of any kind until I decide when it is ready. I'm just so damned tired of having the homosexual issue shoved down my throat everywhere you look. I don't care what 2 people do in privacy but I don't want to hear about it.

  • i always thought they were brothers, pry cus they acted like my brother and i.

  • I don't want my kid to know anything about homosexuality when he is still learning his abc's and 123's. im not gay and never will be gay but my older sister is and I can see how this would anger people. People who are gay, or homosexuals if you prefer that want kids to see what you see. But doing it from a kids show is not the best of ideas.

  • In my experience of talking of controversial subjects such as homosexuality and it's acceptance in society, it's not an easy subject to talk about without someone getting offended. I love how Dan is 9 times out of 10 able to talk about something, then he states his opinion, and its really not a big deal.

  • Bad idea think about all the christian, and others religons that don't support "homo sexuality" and It would be really awkward for you know it just dosen't sound right mabey just because it's never been done before and bert and erine have such a long long long friend ship but thats just me btw Loving the original pogobat vids keep it up.

  • Bert & Ernie should stay wonderfully ambiguous. That is surely the point. They can be what you want them to be. I am a gay man who watched as a child and to be honest it was the companionship and love (plutonic or otherwise) that was important. I didn't even know what sexuality was then and I don't think I should have and nor should todays kids.

  • As a lesbian, I disagreed at first that they shouldn't be married, or at least out. Even if I wasn't thinking about sexuality as a kid, (I'm 18), I still think supporting this kind of diversity would have made me less anxious as I grew up. But then I thought about how young these viewers are. My first crush was on my first grade teacher, though I didn't think of it that way at the time. And these kids are even younger than that. A four-yr-old is learning to write, not contemplating relationships

  • Honestly, at the age I was watching Sesame Street, I was more concerned about reading books than Bert and Ernie getting married.

  • It would seem silly to make Bert and Ernie be married.

They're just dudes who hang out, and don't feel like buying a second bed.

  • That would ruin the Bert and Ernie aspects of the show. I think of them as quarreling roommates who, deep down, respect and love each other as friends. I support gay rights, but it's not needed in a kid's show. The characters should relate to them, not seem old enough to wed.

  • i always thought Bert and Ernie were brothers that's what has always made sense to me. i would think thats how most kids view it as them being friends or brothers

  • no add? hum

  • It would be a huge risk for the writers of Sesame Street to marry Bert and Ernie. They would be risking the loss of the viewers whose parents disagree with gay marriage and that is a majority of the country if we are going off of how many states have legalized gay marriage. I know that PBS will never let Bert and Ernie marry. I support gay rights but I really don't have any want for Bert and Ernie to come out as a gay couple.

  • I agree that Bert and Ernie shouln't get married. My reason is they'e not gay. It's never been established and would seem inconsistent at this point. They may fulfill some gay stereotypes but it seems unfair and a bit rude to assume that means they're gay. However, I would love it if there was a human gay couple on the show. Maybe, like Luis and Maria, they could go through the steps of dating, engagement, marriage and raising children. But forcing it on two straight characters seems wrong.

  • Speaking as a person who grew up with these characters, the marriage idea is a big fat no no.

And before you all start to burn me as a heretic for saying that, just think back for a second to when you were a child. I grew up not knowing what 'gay' meant until I went to secondary school, so why educate a small child who will have no idea what 'gay' even means till they are old enough to understand?

All they are interested in is watching Bert and Ernie interact and to sing along with them.

  • Back when I was a kid I never thought that Ernie and Bert were gay together. xD I just assumed they were two men cohabiting for one reason or another and that their house wasn't big enough to have two bedrooms. :P I do think that sexual tolerances should be put in sesame street somehow, but not making Ernie and Bert marry.

  • Then what's your view on the Katy Perry escapade? She did "Hot and Cold" with Elmo and changed up the lyrics but the producers (or something higher up) didn't air the video because of what she was wearing -- and to be honest, none of the kids are going to be looking at that, they're going to be listening to the song and wondering why Elmo keeps running away from her. Dan, or anyone else, do you think that they should have still aired the show? It wasn't all that bad at all.

  • I'll take bert and erine getting married over fucking Spider-Man turning gay. I am looking at you Marvel.

  • Super happy about gay marriage getting legalized in NY, I'm a big supporter of equality on every level, but at the same time, I really don't think Sesame St's target demographic gives a rat's ass lol

  • 2 BE PERFECTLY HONEST

i dnt think they will its a little kids show and its just 2 many couples on the show allready but i never knew it i grew up watching shit kids shows like tweenies, telytubbys and fimbles that dnt realy teach kids anything about life in truth harry potter shapped my life since i listend 2 it on tape since i was very small

  • This is why I watch my little pony. It's the same deal.

  • @chaoitcme

    A-fucking-men!

  • Thanks Dan... I have now spent 3 hours watching sesame street on youtube... it was awesome :D

  • yes i agree its not a good idea in ways, but then again, what about the kids who live with gay/lesbian parents? they would get a great connection, and also what about the parents who watch with there kids? or the people who still randomly watch it like you? i still catch a show here and there, and would love even just a little more towards being alright gay, cause i support Gay rights, and am friends with many gay/bi/ and lesbian people. they are people, and should be acknowledged.

  • I have always loved sesame street. I still know what time it comes on, and on what channel.

I always thought of Bert and Ernie as brothers, or good freinds. It wasnt until years after i stopped watching the show regulary that I learned the word 'homosexual'. Having the two marry would most likly confuse the kids, although it would be appretiated by adults who veiw the matter in a positive way.Either way, the show is and would be amazing.

  • I hated Sesame Street as a child. I watched Barney and Blues Clues. haha.

  • @LongviewCovers13 -Loves Blues Clues.-

  • tuesday video? chess game? wow dan you're horrible at making commitments

  • The second best t.v. show on Earth- My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

    The first- Doctor Who

  • personally i think homosexual relationships is a good idea for the little kids, as it will at least in some small way effect their opinions on the issue, but honestly, i think it should be done in a cartoon aimed at a slightly older crowd, perhaps 10 - 13, something like Ben ten, i think they would take more out of it.

(not that i'm saying only 10 - 13 year olds watch Ben ten, i'm 17 and still watch it O.o)

  • @terra61 I like your idea of an animated show that addresses homosexuality, I'll admit that never occurred to me before. I have been thinking lately that Disney and Nickelodeon should produce new sitcoms that have at least one gay lead character. After all it helped in adult sitcom and dramas. Why not kids stuff?

  • I agree with you. I think the kids who watch this show are a little too young to even understand something like that.

  • Being gay is such a hype right now, I remember when one of the teletububbies were considered being gay. They did not want to expose that to the children and that they have to be removed from the show. Now the public want Bert and Ernie to be gay and get married. People what is wrong with your head. That is just my option.

  • 2:11

    drop the "the"

    just facebook, its neater

  • I think the people at sesame street SHOULD NOT make them a item for it says (somewhere) in the bible it IIIIISSS a sin to be gay and even jesus says that he hates homosexuality but NOT the person who is homosexual just the sin of homosexuality as for me it do not mind gay people it's just that homosexuality is a sin and it needs to be repented

  • @thebigbrother459 Don't bring religion into a topic which you obviously know nothing about. Why would god create people who can only love and be attracted to the same sex, and then tell them its a sin and to repent for it? Do you think gays can change and magically become heterosexual? You're wrong. I'm homosexual, and i have NO emotional or sexual feelings towards woman at all. I could be walking through a nude beach full of naked woman and i wouldn't care.

  • Great to see you back to your original stuff Dan. I really enjoy your opinion, great video.

  • The questions of gay rights are far too controversial for a public broadcasting station to take a definite side. Honestly, publicly proclaiming Bert and Ernie as a homosexual couple could only do more harm than good. They would lose the support of a large amount of their audience, and Sesame Street would become a subject of great controversy. I agree that the supporters of this idea are largely only interested in rubbing it in the face of their opponents.

  • Dan, your vlogs are badass again!

  • Ahhh children tv shows.......does anybody remember the Jackie Chan Adventures (that cartoon)?

  • when you said don't forget to at the end, i thought you were going to say be awesome. :)

  • Thankfully it would not be the end of PBS if federal funding were cut entirely - it amounts to about 15% of their revenue. Nonetheless an issue.

  • make a video about how fucking amazing rodney mullen is at skateboarding

  • By pressing 2 over and over again I can give Dan a nervous break down.

  • I think that sesame street should have a homosexual couple not necessarily Bert and Ernie maybe have a new couple move into the neighbourhood or something. Maybe have one of the kids have parents who are gay. Children do need to learn that being heterosexual isn't the only choice and that its okay to like a person of the same sex.

  • I think the bottom line is that people should mind their own damn business of what THEY do/create/say and quit trying to influence everyone else' decisions. How many pushy opinionated people do you know that have life MASTERED? Most of the time they themselves are a mess. And they want to live my life or your life for you as well? It's crazy talk.

  • I'm all for equality. However, I think the original postulation that Bert and Ernie are gay because they are two men who live together is silly. Teaching children that being gay is okay is great, but I also worry about teaching them to jump to such conclusions about people. Two men can live together and also not be gay. Same thing with women. You might not believe me, but it's TRUE.

  • Horrible Histories is the best kids tv show ever! Sorry had to get that out my system.

  • I bet Dans a Brony :)

  • WAIT WHAT? i thought this went down a LOOONG time ago. and they killed of burt. or ernie. one of them, the one with the uniebrow the angry looking one. seriously did everyone lie to me?

  • RogueBlueJay was also just talking about this. I totally thing that there should be LGBT characters and when children become more accustomed to it they will not think of it as an "adult" issue and more easily become ignorant about the subject.

But, I don't think Burt and Ernie are together, I think they need to introduce new characters or create new plot for different characters, because Burt and Ernie are such recognizably classic characters and it seems too "out of the blue" for them.

  • You're back, Dan. :)

  • i thought they were bros or best friends, and last time i watched it, they slept in separate beds. but they would make a cute couple too lol

  • I thought they were brothers

  • This video is brilliant. You make excellent points and I totally agree with you

  • i thought they were brothers......O.o

  • I honestly think that a children's show is not a very good medium to really educate young children about sexuality. I feel that parents should really teach their children the acceptance of diversity rather than having a show do it for them. because in reality, to confront your children about things like this can also show your acceptance of them now as a child and then later as an adult.

  • Frankly, When things are a mystery there better.

  • I think you're right in that the kids won't get much out of it. But what if that's the point? It's not just about the kids watching it today, it's about the kids who grew up with it. It's about us, too. The teenagers, the adults.

  • exactly i agree with you dan

  • @ChannelCassie I was just pointing out that the show doesn't usually show love, whether hetero or homo sexual, so why change that?

  • HEEEEEELLLLLLL NOOOOO

  • Agreed.

  • Gay characters do not belong in childrens shows.

Indoctrination like that should be shunned.

  • @Clammypollack

Indoctrination? Telling them that gay marriage exists doesn't increase their likeliness to suddenly come out of the closet. Maybe I don't think that children should eat hundreds of cookies at a time, but Cookie Monster isn't some sort of cookie-propaganda machine. It's closed-minded views like yours that are holding back the civil liberties of the country.

  • @aslyter45 I choose to expose my children to abnormal behaviour when they are older. Anything I can do to help them avoid the pitfalls of the gay lifestyle, I will do (increased incidence of STD's, AIDS, alcohol and drug abuse, depression, suicide, gay bowel syndrome, cancers and dangerous anonymous sex acts).

  • @Clammypollack

I don't even know if you're being serious or just a bad troll. And I wouldn't classify homosexuality as something "abnormal" when there's millions and millions of them. Maybe it would be more beneficial to teach kids about ways to prevent things like STDs and drugs/alcohol, like practicing safe sex and the downfalls of drug and alcohol abuse, than to classify a lifestyle as evil.

  • @Clammypollack You can choose to do whatever you want with your children, but they will find out eventually no matter how much you try to defend them. And the 'gay lifestyle' you talk about is basically non-exsistant. regardless if someone is homosexual or not, it doesn't mean that they have a higher chance of being introduced to STD's. Additionally alcohol and drug abuse, depression, and anonymous sex is performed not only by the gay community but also by the straight community aswell.

  • @rickyanimelover You missed my point. I never said that only the gay community experiences these things. Merely that they experience them at higher levels.

  • @Clammypollack this is not neccesarily true because of the significantly small gay population most if, if any statisic is skewed :P and as i said before :P they only experience anything at a higher levels because of intolerance and the people around them especially from family members

  • @rickyanimelover Sorry, but you don't get diseases from intolerance. You get them from activities which spread diseases. Nice try, though.

  • @Clammypollack no, but you do get depression, some suicidal thoughts, it may start alcoholic and drug abuse aswell.

as far as stds go, the statisic rules still apply, and as alwayys diseases only stem from unsafe sex. which is committed by both sides, being gay does not in anyway ampliy your chances of getting a disease ...but bad choices do :)

  • @Clammypollack also there is no such thing as a "gay lifestyle", there are just LIFEstyle the fact that a person is gay or straight, makes no difference, we do the same things and go about our daily lives similarly.but, the exception being that, the life that a homosexual individual lives is more influenced by their sourroundings and the people in their lives. they are not all necessarily depressed or suicidal.

  • it's weird, initially i agree with dan, but i'm thinking: kids are pretty suggestable at that age. now, this could be taken as a bad thing and we could think that this would encourage all little kids to become gay. but i think more than anything it would at least get the idea in their minds and it might be a good, tactful way to introduce the topic to kids. then, once they figure out what it really means, they can talk about it with their parents and figure things out for themselves. kind of.

  • New York would not let the public vote on whether they wanted to legalize gay marriage. The liberal politicians don't want it to go a public vote. You know that and spin it like the people there actually voted on the subject. They didn't and you know it. Put it up for a public vote and see just how far it goes down in flames.

  • omg i missed you i havent watched you for months

  • I think having gay characters on sesame street wouldn't be a bad idea, but I don't think its necessary for them to get married or even be burt and ernie. After all, if the people want to pull funding because there are gay characters it would truly show how homophobic the funders are. Homosexuality and homophobia are important topics, and if kids show won't talk about it, the kids parents and school won't talk about it, who would?

I still think animaniacs has better adult references, just sayin.

  • this should not surprise anyone of what the left represents. deviant life styles. they are just so immoral and sick.

  • @bouncyballblue *Pork and shellfish are very unhealthy foods, and their methods of body piercing probably weren't very sanitary. As for hosexuality, read 1 Corinthians 1:7-11 (new testament, so it still stands today for Jews and Gentiles alike).

  • @bouncyballblue Christ's coming erased the requirement for a lot of laws, like animal

sacrifice (because He was the ultimate sacrifice), circumcision, and things including but not limited to "don't pierce anything," "don't cut your hair," and "don't eat pork, or shellfish." God made those laws to get a point across, using symbolism to teach life lessons. He was also looking out for his people. Pork and shellfish are very unhealthy foods, and their methods of body piercing probably weren't very

  • @bouncyballblue That's because those commandments are from the old testament, written for the old testament Jews. Jesus shed a different light on a lot of controversial issues in the new testament, like "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" versus "love your enemies." A lot of the old testament "rules" applied to the Jews and were there to remind them to live wholesome lives. Personally I've never heard of the hair thing being a law, but I'm pretty sure those regulations were just symbolic.

  • Having a gay wedding on Sesame street would really either 1) confuse the hell out of kids, as Dan mentioned most kids are still concerned with cooties and dolls. Or b) go right over their heads as they aren't old enough to understand it. Heck I was a flower girl in my uncles wedding at the age of 7, and I don't think I knew what was really going on till I was older. The only thing I understood was he loved someone, and they loved him back. And that was enough for me.

  • Homophobia is stupid. Not just because it casts hate on people who have done no legal wrong, but because the source of it is so indeterminate. If you ask the average homophobe on the street they will likely tell you that the bible says homosexuality is a sin. What they fail to mention are the less publicized "sins," also mentioned in the bible. For example, it is a sin to: -work on the sabbath -eat shellfish -cut your hair -swear/curse These are clearly stated, but are widely ignored. Why?
  • I don't think it's crucial, but it wouldn't be a bad idea as such.

Are there any heterosexual married couples on Sesame Street? If there are, I guess it would make sense for their marriage to be established. However, if there aren't any main characters who are married, I don't find it necessary.

  • I hope Dan likes Doctor Who, I think it would fall in the three percent that he likes.

  • I actually don't think that's a good idea.

  • If that's what the creative minds behind Sesame Street want, then, yeah. That'd be great. I wouldn't be the accepting person I am today if I didn't learn at a young age, that being different is okay.

  • Mr Rodgers is the best kids show ever.

  • Your really cute

  • @itsamemario13 Really... watch the video again. I mean really? I enjoy the few videos never leave negative comments but the idea of puppets being gay? just makes me wonder what he could talk about next....

  • COOKIE MONSTA!

  • If Seasame Street has a gay marrige my childhood will die
