I've lived in Seattle all my life. We do have a homeless problem but it's nothing compared to our neighbors to the north in Vancover B.C. specially the five blocks of hell on Hastings St. We have a lot of people addicted to alcohol on the streets of downtown Seattle. We also have some drug addicts and some mentally ill people that should be receiving some sort of help. It's sad really. There are tons of panhandlers downtown. You can't walk a block without being hit up for a buck.
