RCA Records.. One of the singles they tried for Marlow.
I brought this song with me from Michigan when I came to Kentucky to play drums with Marlow's Southern Comfort Band. I always loved this old Motown tune and sang it with the band for years. Later on Marlow started singing it and it must have felt good enough to take it to Nashville for RCA.
The problem is, it's a Motown song and has to have that feel. Nashville couldn't get the right feel for it so it didn't make it.
DOES ANYONE HAVE DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS BY MARLOW.......THAT'S MY OTHER FAVORITE. I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE!!!! I WISH I COULD FIND IT & THIS ONE ON CD.......THANKS, LOVE THIS SONG, BRINGS BACK GOOD MEMORIES!!
