Amy Lee may or may not be able to play anything more musically complex or technically demanding and yet I love that riff to pieces. In this song the piano riff is not the center of the piece. It is an accompaniment for the vocal which most people here seem to understand as the center of the song and it's strength. Amy Lee did an amazing job getting something so simple to deliver so much and yet do it's job as a supporting line. Evanescence writes beautiful music and delivers like no one else\m/

One of the things i love about Amy Lee is that she sounds almost EXACTLY like she does in her videos. I dont care if this song was put out in 2005 because im listening to this song in 2011 almost 2012 and i will be listening to this song untill the day i die(: <3 Amy Lee <3

@forkihalie Its because she is out of tune and seems to be struggling to hold a single note. I do find the recorded version quite moving though. Perhaps she is out of practice.
