  • it's pretty boring to listen to man =/ maybe its cause im a jazz player.... there's dynamics, but the peice doesnt seem to go anywhere. anyway, nice rendition of a challenging piece of music

  • An etude at a recital? How tacky...seriously. Post something that takes skill to play.

  • Where can I find this arrangement? I have an audition coming up and I am in a desperate hurry to find the music!! Thanks!! :)

  • its a good intonation but can be better with vibrato.. hmm just wondering why it sounded accordion-ish..

    but Bravo anyways! =D

  • you sound wonderful, i'm working on this to try out for honors band...

you have good breath control but i would suggest working on vibrato, because it changes the whole peice.

i could tell you got tired because you went a little flat by the end.

overall, you have a very good thing going here=)

  • it needs more vibrato to make the piece more musical. there were just a few minor mistakes but other than that, very good.

  • i need to post my video playing this

  • this made me mad...i enjoyed the peice but i saw this and found out that i was playing this quart. note = 92 and ive been like i hate this song its to hard and now i find out that its eigth note = 92 i feel really dumb

  • in the version of the Ferling etudes edited by Mule, its marked as eigth note = 72.

  • Isn't it supposed to be taken at 92? (just wondering...)

  • yeah. eighth note=92

  • Very well played, I could swear you have a tone like a high quality church pipe organ going there! I don't know how you did it but I hope you keep at it. 10 out of 10.

  • I bet you could rock No. 2 as well, even tho its super crazy. You have the ability to do it, good luck with your studies. I love this book! =D

    -Josh

  • You have a full, nice tone for your age. How old are you anyways?

  • your tone is wonderful... but (maybe it's just the acoustics of the room your are in) I can hardly hear a Vibrato (if there is one?)

..and sheesh did you take that slow! haha..

    good job
