Reagan spent hundreds of billions from the social security trust fund after doubling the payroll tax for it. He also tripled the national debt. Bush has now borrowed more than him.
Congress passed a law that any left over Social Security funds go into the general fund at the end of the year. This was done long before Regan was president. This is also why everyong laughed at Gore when he spoke of a lock box. The only thing in the lock box or IOU's. This is why congress keeps increasing the tax for Social Security, they spend the money every year and it helps hide what the true deficit is.
The lock-box implies that those funds could NOT go into the general fund. At any rate, instead of raising the tax they should raise the cap. Reagan slashed taxes on the rich and doubled the social security tax which whacked the middle class.

Reagan spent hundreds of billions from the social security trust fund after doubling the payroll tax for it. He also tripled the national debt. Bush has now borrowed more than him.

Congress passed a law that any left over Social Security funds go into the general fund at the end of the year. This was done long before Regan was president. This is also why everyong laughed at Gore when he spoke of a lock box. The only thing in the lock box or IOU's. This is why congress keeps increasing the tax for Social Security, they spend the money every year and it helps hide what the true deficit is.

The lock-box implies that those funds could NOT go into the general fund. At any rate, instead of raising the tax they should raise the cap. Reagan slashed taxes on the rich and doubled the social security tax which whacked the middle class.

Later in his memoirs he mentions that he should have tackled the issues of monetary policy in America. That they will inform themselves and realize that this is not about race or prejudice, but POLICY and how these policies are going to exact themselves on this nation. We are at a cusp, and any false move will definitely destroy the worlds "number one nation" at this point. I'd hope they examine everything from all angles, instead of defending there blindly chosen leader out of some misplaced loyalty. If the loyal is fully understand and definite. You know, I researched George Soros. I read the PAC piece accusing him of that. One problem.
He was 13 when Nazi Germany fell. He is not even listed as being as part of their high command. All I can find about him and Hitler is him being one of the fools tricked into serving the "Jewish Council" the same year the "Hitler Administration" fell.

okay productionz, look, obama is not just for the lower class but also the middle class. he has quite a few people who happen to be rich supporting him as well, but his campaign prides itself on getting most of its money from small donations (e.g. below $25), and its large sums of money are from millions of donors, some of whom make more than one donation. as far as soros goes, there are some decent rich people, and they can see how mccain is pure scum. consider the facts.

All you have to do is type in their names and Ayn Rand and you will see they are both far from the anti-Rand. They are in fact both fans and have been trying to get Atlas Shrugged made. As I said, her and Brad are fans of Ayn Rand- it does not surprise me at all that they would support the Republican. Instead of guessing they are anti-Rand I suggest you do a little research first and don't believe the bs hype.

Well, maybe she's like everyone else (who's rich) and is voting for her self interest and money. I did absolute no research, yet I'm sure she makes more than $250k /yr. Which in my understanding makes McCain her man. Then again, it's absolutely NONE of any of our businesses IMO. Often I wish I didn't know the political stances of Celebs (i.e. Ben Stein *shudder).

The fact that McCain is seeking Angelina's endorsement is rather hilarious. He's on a crusade to show Obama as the biggest celebrity in the world while he's trying to get the endorsement from someone who really is one of the biggest celebrities in the world.
