  • only in australia would u put paul potts in a bloody shoppingmall.......lol........

  • Simone Simons from Epica sings this song quite well too.

  • Pavarotti para mi tiene más potencia de voz que Paul Potts.

  • as im getting older im startin to appreciate opera more, and im only 18 wtf lol :/

  • Fantastic talent! It feels good to see a person with a modrest background perform as though he has been singing professionally for years. What a voice!

  • Pavarotti would congratulate Paul if he were still here. RIP Pavarotti, and Paul is going to become the new Pavarotti. Just imagine, this man is so young, by the time he is about 60, who knows how PERFECT of a singer he will be then? I already love EVERYTHING about his singing, even more so than Pavarotti to be honest. But I think that even the best of singers always find ways to improve themselves. They become god-like in their music. =)

  • I didn't know a man could sing this song...I've only heard Elaine Paige and Susan Boyle singing it. It sounds great! Way to go, Mr Potts!

This song is originally in ENGLISH, why not just sing it in English?

  • I love Paul Potts,,,Just wish I could hear him sing this song in English

  • es ingles

  • Sorry, but I'm italian.. and I don't think that his italian is so good... you can for sure find out his strong english accent. Anyway, the english lyrics are much better... the italian version is just a trivial love song, as always...

  • Tears.... :|

  • he is good:)

  • he's great!

  • Saw him in concert 2 days ago.

Sang operatic songs as good as any out there.

Paul sang Nessum Dorma so powerful.

The difference in just 1 year shows off this mans raw talent.

    Its Pauls turn now.

Pavarotti sang 40 years, please let a man still living sing so well, without having to be shot down by Pavarotti fans and others.

  • @Toudiyama ,,,yes this is true but ,,,look how long pavarotti has been in the music business ,,and how short a time Paul Potts has been in it,,,not fair to judge these 2 who is better okay.

  • Even in a 3 month shorter time frame, Potts at 57,530,143 views verses Pavarotti at 5,337,711 is clearly 10 times more popular. If in fact, the Pavarotti "Nessun Dorma" performance was better then the numbers would be reversed. Deny it or accept it, that is reality.

  • I love paul potts :)

  • i'm italian...i could say his italian is really good..i can understand every words he said....is not that easy you say to sing opera in italian even for an italian 'cause often words are from an old italian,no more used in our vocabulary...some unknow nowadays to us...p.s. i'm not speaking about this song,i'm speaking generally

  • I don't care in which he language he chooses to sing in, it's all beautiful to me. AMERICA LOVES PAUL POTTS!! And I happen to think this song is beautiful in Italian.

  • Easier to sing in other languages?? Sorry maybe for you but I know from bitter experience it takes me longer to learn a song in Italian than it does in English

  • it sounds kinda wierd in italian

  • The italian version of Memory is called Piano.

  • I am a huge fan of Paul Potts, he has an incredible voice, but Memory in Italian?? I feel its just a little bit pretentious...

  • It is easier to sing in other languagues ;)

  • Either way, he's very likeable.

  • MUY BUENO! Paul Potts es muy bueno! Y vendrá al Perú! GRACIAS POR SUBIR ESTE VIDEO!

  • Brilliant Paul!

  • lovely version.

  • bravooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Olé, olé y oléeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We played Paul Potts at my Nan's Funeral this year, she adored him x

  • Epic, Paul Potts is epic.

  • Operataurus

What the hell are you talking about.

People like him because he is one amazing singer, here and in concert better still, on new album.

Pauls sad background was not known when he sang.

All have sad stories before, not after performance.

People judge on talent, and your statement if so disgusting.

  • I think he is a good singer. I like him because he's good. I don't actually know what his supposedly sad background is. All i know is that he won BGT. Sure he isn't the greatest in the world, and the three tenors are obviously far better, as well as more experienced, but i do think that Paul is a very talented singer.

  • This was in Australia? Damn I missed it.

  • Yeah, she's great

  • wowowowowowoowow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • his italian pronuntiation is better now! ;)

  • Genius !

  • Fantastic voice!

  • in spite of his humble apperance, he's a genius

  • He sings much better than Susan Boyle.

  • phenominal!!!! this man is incredible! Memory is one of my most favorite songs EVER!! this made me cry :']

  • no disrespect jrevoredoi, but he is from the same country I am proudly from WALES!

  • This is Paul Potts a winner of Britains Got Talent...this is video of debut album tour...which has sold over 2,000,000...

  • This is not his debut album, but from his 2nd album which is out now.

Pauls first album has sold over 4 million.

Pauls 2nd album I think better than 1st, more polished.

  • Listen too this video

    watch?v=Rl86-TnJiKU

Is a young tenor of Perú that has not studies of music. He sells radios and cellulars at store of electronic appliances

  • nice! nice! nice!

  • nice!

  • muy bien exelente

  • Shaky camera work is very distracting. Best listened to with eyes closed.

  • why is he doing MALL tours? even if he isn't "up to par" with the big time guys, I'm sure someone could do way more with him, he is a real kick to listen to.

  • He isn't doing mall tours. Currently he is doing a worldwide album promotion. He recently finished a 100+ city tour, with sold out venues all across the globe, including stadiums, symphony halls & opera houses. Then he released his second album, Passione. After the current promotional tour for this album, he will begin his second world concert tour this summer.

  • Paul Potts isn't just doing "Mall Tours" .... It is called "a promotional tour".

Giving the possibility to people on the street to hear his talent.

A few weeks ago he performed in a Girls Grammar School in NZ for the same reason.

    Good luck Paul Potts.

    (France)

  • is it italian version?

  • Yep

  • We've come a long way from the 80's mall bands!

  • ¡Greaat! Cely

  • Epic man, with an epic voice.

  • He was in Australia??

    whenn?????

  • me encantas... desde reynosa mexico.

  • Paul , Beautiful!!!! I have been waiting....When will we see you in seattle or portland? Tell your wife thank you... she is a keeper...

  • the greatest song at all paul you are great you are the best i love this song

  • So good to see raw talent such as this. I hope and pray Paul Potts will hold firm to his true self despite the insidious pressures fame will place on his life.

  • Grandiosa interpretacion.Esperamos que vengas a LIMA - PERU ,para que nos deleites con tu maravilloso talento.FELICITACIONES.Saludos desde LIMA - PERU.

  • bonito muy bonita voz hermosillo sonora mexico

  • This is fantastic! He's great!!

  • Beautiful, just beautiful!!!

  • This version is called "Piano", which is the Italian version of Memory.

  • Damn I missed him. No way Paul should be at friggin Easland. Brilliance!

  • Why the fuck is he performing in a mall.... he should be at carnegie hall!! and how can ppl just walk by him???

  • You do realize there's MANY stupid people on this planet that don't realize when they are in the presence of greatness...

  • Some people just don't care about great singing and are in their own little worlds, ITs soo sad, but hey ..thats for them and we have the privelige of enjoying someone like Paul Potts and to see him start his career.

  • Some people dislike opera. It's their choice, their loss, too, but still their choice.

As for Carnegie Hall, if he hasn't been there yet, he will be soon.

  • I actually am very familiar with them, thank you very much. I also happen to know that with music, especially vocal music, every time you perform, you have to bring more than just training and talent: you need to perform with every single part of you, every event, every memory that makes you who you are and pour it through your medium, be it your voice or some other instrument. Otherwise, your performance will be empty, soulless, dead.

  • I would argue, too, that while Paul Potts is obviously not at the same level as, say, Pavarotti, his style is undeniably opera. Also, the primary reason why Paul Potts IS so impressive, and so popular is the fact that he can do this WITHOUT having had any training!

  • Hermoso..

  • OMG when did it happened?

I'm in melbourne and i've been to eastland shopping centre so many times

i wish i was there when he performed there

  • I love the way he gets into belting out the big parts... he does it well!!!

  • bravissimo

  • next time use a tripod,

but great singing, love it :)

  • Very soothing and relaxing. 0:38 and 2:04

    simply amazing.

  • THANKS FOR A BEAUTIFUL MELODY

  • When was Paul here in Australia? This is the first time i've seen this one. Thanks for posting. ;)

  • He is always good!

  • this.

  • oh another bravo

  • I was there! I took my Mum to his performance at Eastland and he was just stunning. I was in tears and I had goosepimples listening to these three gorgeous songs. Afterwards he he stayed back for nearly two hours signing his CDs - 'Passione' & 'One Chance' and posing for photos - I have one of him, my Mum & me. Lovely to speak to! Great memories. Thanks for taking the time Paul.

  • His manager DOES blow! This man is outstanding! I feel priviledged to hear him. Beautiful... just beautiful

  • 2:50........that's why I subscribe to this guy. Pure power in symphonic form.

  • que gordo con oyo! pero canta divino me ac llora qliao

  • Can't wait for "Passione" to become available on I-Tunes and Amazon in the U.S.. Paul, we're still waiting for you to return to the San Francisco Bay Area. Don't forget that includes Santa Rosa just north of the city. Bravo, Paul!

  • my god he is good

  • I can't stop wishing i was there...

it would have been a dream come true to hear this live.

  • Depressing! He is far to good to be performing, where is that, a mall?!?! His manager BLOWS!!!

  • I was thinking the same thing!

  • Yeah I think so .... to honest I don't even shop there and I'm from Melbourne .... he is far too good ....

  • Bello, simplemente bello, alimento para el alma.

  • absolutely enchanting

  • Lovely

  • Wonderful! I can't wait for the album to come out!

  • wunderfullllll

  • wonderful voice:)

  • please come to see me singing:)

  • I knew nothing about opra till i heard you then its all made sence

  • Go Paul, you just rock..

  • I'm glad people are listening to this music more - mainstream will help out a genre of music that it deserves a better reputation

  • Watching Paul's progress over the years has been such a joy. He has learned as he's gone and grown and grown as an artist and personality. Clearly still humble and clearly enjoying the journey. The new album I predict will outsell the debut hit.

  • I have to to say that Paul haves a lot of talent and to let it clear. The best soprano in the world is from Britain and is called Sarah Brightman. She was singing years before than Bocelli, my respects to him but Britain Got Talent as all the countries in the world!

  • I think part of the beauty of his singing is the humbleness he has about himself...I don't think anyone should be comparing him to any other great singer either...Paul Potts is Paul Potts...I don't think he is trying to imitate anyone or be like anyone- he is himself, and that is what maeks his voice so endearing!

  • is there sheet music available of this

  • I love Andrea Bocelli, but he did not invent singing tenor or opera...there is more than one country that has wonderfully talented singers in this area and Britain is one of them too!

  • You clearly have an Inferiority complex

  • Paul Potts is the best!!!

  • Such a sad face

Paul you should not in mall...I will pay to see you =D

  • wow, i really like this version of the song

  • Just wonderful!!! Thank You!!

  • Simply perfect.

  • Paul has shown his power to get where he is today. Now, he's toning it down and showing his elegance.

  • I bet there's some good accoustics in a mall! Bravo, Mr Potts!!

  • am afraid this non-professional camera doesn't capture the sound as it really sounds_ you know, less quality than a professional one.

I heard his wife, named juliey or something not sure, is the one who records his live events like this!!

  • Paul's wife, Julie-Ann didn't record this. She is standing in the background with Paul's tour manager.

This and the other recordings at this venue were made by a Sony employee.

  • ownage!!! :)

  • Wonderful!!! Superb!!! A divine voice!!!

    Thanks for sharing the video!!!

  • Great performance by Mr. Potts. Not sure why he is at a mall in Aussie land when he should be at some Opera house performing. .

  • I agree 100%! why is he in a mall this man has so much talent!

  • I agree, but I think that's part of Paul's appeal. His music is supposed to be available to everyone whether they be in in a mall or a concert hall.

  • i thought that song is in english, i remember english version sung by barbra streisand

  • Bravo !. This seems like a difficult song to sing because of the range. You did a beautful job. I want this album !

  • Bravo!

  • A new album?! YAY!!!!

I love your voice, Paul. And watching the first time you sang on BGT still makes me cry.... xo!

  • Every time I listen to Paul, I end up in tears. He sings from his heart into the soul.

  • Please get a tripod. Secure a camera on it and just let us listen. No funny zoom in out. Thanks.

  • My favorite tenor ... my favorite singer! ... singing one of my favorite songs. Even with less than perfect sound in the shopping center, you can tell this is one heck of a performance. Can't wait for the CD!!!

  • Simply stunning performance!!! You go Paul!!!

  • WOW! You sure know how to make us smile !!!

  • I adore his voice. It's such a wonderful change to the stuffiness that generally goes with a voice like his. He seems so approachable and humble. Paul I hope your train ride goes very, very far.

  • I adore his voice. It's such a wonderful change to the stuffyness that generally goes with a voice like his. He has an approachable manner that makes you want him to do well. I hope your train ride goes far.

  • Paul, this one seems so difficult to sing, but your lower register seems so much stronger than it once was. It's a great number, thanks so much.

  • Paul, you are beautiful. Thank you for taking the risk that allowed you to share your magnificent voice with us.

  • Paul, you are beautiful. Thank you for taking the risk that allowed you to share your magnificent voice with us.
