  • help what is the minimum power requirements for this card[ no sli ]

  • i gouht one for about 85$ for like a half year ago

  • its "Eveegi-a" thats how its spelled.

  • the 8800GTS G80 doesn't have a physics processor built in... the new 9 series have it... maybe the G92 but I dunno

  • All of the 8800 series cards does have PhysX built in.

  • no only the 8800GTX and Ultra from what ive heard.... physx didnt work for my friends 8800GTS 320

  • Why do you have a BFG Physx card in your computer when the Geforce 8800 already has physics processor built in it?

  • Hey, i have the same mobo, cooler and graphics card as you, just wondering does ur northbridge chipset get really hot up to like 70'C, cos mine does and especially since u have overclocked ur ram and processor and probably had to inscrease the NB volstages, i had to stick a 40mm fan on mine just to keep my system completely stable when at cpu bus speeds of over 400mhz, and i don't have bad cooling i had to antec 900. Any way gd video

  • Are you sure your Northbridge chipset cooler is properly secured to the board; I had a very similar problem with my GA-P35C-DS3R (didn't realise the cause because it was my first build and I had hardly opened a computer case before hand.

  • dude thats a brittish accent

  • ^ rolled.

    dumbass.

  • There is a distinct difference between British and Australian accents, dumbass.

  • Im selling my 8800GTS for a good price, and if bought will have a lifetime warranty on it. Message me if your interested.

  • Hey, I just ordered the same board as you (P2N32 sli Plus) just wondering what you thought about it eg any overheating in the heat sinks or memory problems. Cheers.

  • Hey buddy, i have had no problems what so ever with this board. i use corsair dominator ddr2 in sli mode and it works a treat.. its a great overclocking board & will keep its self stable enough to support the higher bus speeds.. Had no problems with the temps of the board either :)

  • its E-V-G-A

  • lol piss off n find something better to do,,

  • hey man nice pc, tell me something pls does the bfg phisic card works good?? im getting a bfg 8800 gts oc 640 gf, and i think ill get a bfg phisic card bfg rocks, just im wondering if it works with every game or just whith who support it, thx

  • ye it is a gd card buddy, though its only supported in games that are written for the ppu :)

  • how do i no if my psu is able to connect to my graphics via the pcie connection

  • if it has a 6pin PCIe connecter.

  • yes it has 6pin pcie connector!

    plz help! thx!

  • if ur PSU has a 6 pin PCIe connecter, then it will be able to connect to the GFX card.

  • how do you like the physics card......doest it work really well? because im thinking about buying it but i need to know if it works really well.

  • yep tru tru, you have buffers (front and back)which are basicly bitmaps... these bitmaps get assembled in the ram and then the buffer gets sent off, less ram means the image can't be assembled as fast in the ram and then you have all that GPU power but not enough ram!! ram ram ram can't get enough of it!!!

  • Fuck you :D 8800 GTS SLI You owned ! Is it work well or it always crash ?

  • Nice computer you have there. I`am waiting for my computer, and its have 8800 GTS 640MB.

  • 640mb is waste of money go with the 320mb editions

  • Clearly u dont know what are u talking about, more ram means that u can crank up the resolution of the games because can pack more frames, yea one more thing.. think before you speak asshole!!!!!

  • I want an 8800 too

  • The CPU does all of the physics processing if you don't have a physics card. So you should have got a better CPU instead of the physics card. There is also VERY limited support for them.

  • no thx ;)

  • i have 430w power! is it enough for 8800gts 640mb?

  • it is, but its recommended if u get more.

  • plz help me! i'm about to buy a8800gt right now ! is my 430 power supply enough to run it? i noticed that for 8800gt u should have at least 450w(but some people said u will be fine with 430) i'm confused ! well any chanse for 430w?

    thx for any help !

  • the minimum is 400W, but if u get 450W or even 500W, it will be safer/better.

  • i'm sorry for annoying but here is my info that is onthe box thermaltake purepower 430w support pci-express,sata,and 24(20) pin main power connector also at the bottom of the box universal 24(20) pin connector pci express connector pfc sata features 6-pin pci express dualfan -front fan dualfan backfan new 24(20) pin i think that's enought help ! thx!
  • it will work. but when u install the card and notice bad performance (pc slower, computer freezes randomly etc.) then it means u need a bigger power supply.

  • damn i think i shoulda get 500w :(

thank you for help ! i appreciated it!

  • Hey i was wondering how much clearance you have between the cpu heatsink and the heatsinks and pipes around it? the reason im asking is i have the same mb and i was thinking about getting the zalman 9700 fhs, but didnt know if the fins would clear everything around it

  • Hey buddy, the zalman's a great cooler and allows plenty of room on the surrounding parts of the board. Ihavent had any issues with coolers on this board, considering its layout its very well laid out.. :)

  • the 8800 has its own phyiscs card.

  • what power supply are you running that rig on?

  • Enermax Noisetaker 600w sli bud..

  • nice just wondering if the phys card is worth buying.. I have a similar spec except for the core 2 duo i have e6600.

  • hey, theres been alot of arguments over the physics card but alot of reviews put it down to jealousy.. more and more new titles are supporting the chipset and the gaming engines in the future are going to be performing some amazing particle effects etc..If u can then i suggest u take the chance to get 1,, i did and ill never look back.. :)

  • the thing is by the time these games come out that can take advantege of the physics ur one will prob be old id just wait lol quite a nice system though

  • ye but knowing me ill just upgrade to the new 1,, :)

  • yes but that defeats the hole object of having it. there aint enuff physics cards out there and in pcs for them to invest in physics yet so pointless having one give it a few years physics chips will be on the actual graphics cards thats the way to make physics mainstream.

  • would you think that 8800GTS SLi would run on Enermax Liberty 500W?

  • hey, well they recommend a 700ww to run the 8800's in sli. though some lower psu's have managed to pull it off, not sure on the liberty though, sorry bud..

  • You mention your dominators running in 'SLI mode', is that something you activate in the bios or does it happen automaticly with SLI compatable RAM?

  • well on my specific board it automatically enabled it, all i had to do was setup the type of sli memory mode i wanted :)

  • Its mighty crowded in there man. And good going with the GTS, who needs a GTX anyways.

  • hehe lol. ye the GTS is good enough for me :D.. mind u its not as crouded now as i only have 1 hard drive, in there now but also 4GB OF Ram :d..

  • I'm getting a new cpu in november-december, if quad core prices go down, I will get that, and if they dont i will be getting an e6600 with a zalman cooler

  • nice buddy, im going quad core at some stage, just not sure when ..

  • Well, you could just buy a Scythe Infinity which is great for overclocking. One of my friends did that, and his CPU runs at 3GHz, stable :)

  • You have a pretty modest power supply for your system.

  • hehe, its alright does the job, im upgradinmg to the new coolermaster psu that has 6 12v rails :D

  • I'm sure you know what you're doing but you might want to consider one that also has two 8 pin PCI-E connectors in addition to the 6 pin PCI-E connectors. Unless you want to upgrade your power supply again whenever you replace your 8800.

  • pfffffff shut up lol.. So its ok for you to start judging people ,,, knob!!!!

  • hehe ye , its like a bug once u start u cant stop. I kow how u feel, when i had to wait for this it seemed like weeks but it was only 2 days.. i get impatient me lol.. Anyway cheers for checkin ot me vids etc & i hope u enjoy me future 1's .. :)

  • hehe its not s tupid comment m8, your just curious & yes its the same chipset just different card manufacturer... :)

  • Cheers man I love buying hardware and building computers (like you said I'm like a kid when I get new hardware!) but I just got really worried there when I noticed the difference! Can't wait to get my card!!!

  • I'm getting the EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB I know this is a stupid comment but it's the same right?

  • Hey bud, cheers for the comment, as far as the logitech speakers go they are awsome,, cant complain with them bud. Great for gaming & movies..

Its nice toi see ya starting young 2 bud, its addictive this gaming world lol !!! ..

  • very addictive!

  • Nice system dude! I am buying the same video card but from PNY, I trust them. Are those Logitech speakers awsome? Lol im only 14, but im gonna start savin up for some new computer parts..hopefully someday ill have a kickass system.

  • good luck ha I have a xfx 8800 gtx
