@Shintah07 goto Xfire. > Options > Games > Select "Call of Duty 5: World at War Multiplayer" from the list > Select "Manual Detect" > point your CoDWaWmp.exe. And it's done :)

IF YOU HAVE 1.7 then download 1.7 private client patch and press f3 when you started it with xfire all the time and the server you join must be a 1.7 version

idk what's my problem, i have version 1.7 and i downloaded the patch 1.7 and i did everything u did and everythime i try to join a cracked server, version 1.7, it says that my cod5 has a different version. And i have a 1.7 version. help pliz

@ANTONIOMUNECO13 Hey, the download is a version 1.6 client patch... By applying the patch, your game automatically turns into version 1.6 and no longer 1.7. Look for a patch that is for version 1.7... XD Hope I helped even though I answered a bit late.

@GiGmartim if you have a fresh install of the game you need to patch the game to 1.7, that means you need the patch 1.1, 1.2 ... 1,7. when you patch to version 1.7 you need the Private Client patch to play online (only on cracked servers).

I recommend this mod to ya Olivermulin23: PezBots... You create your own bots and fight them online or offline, they fight like Online Players. Its basically used to train you.

no no ...thank you but .. i solved ... :D is in D .. but .. to install patches .. you need space in C ...

at least 2-2.5 gb .. :)

because the install creates backups in C , but but deletes them when no longer need them :D

Follow this steps:

1 Start the "Private Client Patch"

2 Start Call of Duty: World at War

3 Activate the patch by pressing F5 (i think)

4 Connect to a server WITH PPL

Conditions:

you cant use a RIP version

you can ONLY play on Cracked servers

I used to get that error only when i tryed to join empty servers
