Commendations in this game are way too hard to get and the reward in the end is so small that its not even worth your time. I just got my One shot commendation in matchmaking to gold. I needed 4000 head shots to that, order to get onyx i need 8000. And the reward is just 2000cr WTF? I played gears of war 3s beta it also had challenges like this but in there you had medal for 1000 assists and when you did it you where able to do it agein and get the same reward. That was awesome.

Easier way, don't update reach on live. Play Lonewolf (legendary all skulls ffa) & Instead of killing enemies, find somewhere to hide. Put the controller down for an hour or 2. Come back and you get 5000 cr for nothing. Also, the higher you go up in rank more credits you get for this. I got Brigadier in 2 weeks doing this and now I earn 15000 cr now for doing this. ENJOY!!!

Guys... once you hit about Lt. Colonal... your cR income pretty much doubles. For instance, I am a Commander Grade 3... and about 70 minutes of a Firefight match gives me (on average) about 11800 cR. No mods or anything. I don't even have an XBL account and I have gotten this far within a few months (I don't play as much as I'd like to). Don't worry about saving up for all the expensive gear until you hit about Lt. Colonal. Spend your low rank cR any way you want.
