  • She is so cute

  • nice adj doc!.

  • oohhh cuteee

  • LOL at the logic samples!

  • soo cute..

  • shes so cute its not real

  • @AymanLT Totally agree :)

  • .. is there a chance that a patient gets paralyzed?

  • @84nomas no not at all; the Gonstead technique does not take the vertebra into strong extension or rotation. Also, we take the vertebra into the correct position prior to setting it thereby actually taking the stress 'away' from the soft structures of the surrounding area. Thanks for your question, regards, Dr Ian

  • @chiroexcellence ah i see... thanks for ur answer! GodBless Dr.Ian...!

  • Thank you for restoring the health of this little girl by going directly to the cause of the problem. Results speak for themselves.

  • @dandiggs21 Thanks for saying so.

  • @kyoyaq - Obviously, you have NO idea what legitimate health care is! The only reason to adjust/manipulate a kid is to MAKE MONEY!! There is NO science to support "pediatric chiropractic"!

  • @bawonee1 Thanks to people like Kyoyaq who have tried to support what we do and protect the spirit of gorgeous kids like Olivia. Dont know what to say to you Bawonee, the evidence is before you. I truely hope that the rest of your lifes journey takes you to a better place. All the best, Dr Ian.

  • You are a weirdo bawonee

  • What a brave little girl :)

  • are u not afraid of causing a stroke?

  • @brucenash Not at all..The unique and difficult aspect of Gonstead technique is that care is taken to find the exact planes of altered biomechanics before correction and the vertebra is placed in a neutral position before it is corrected. Other words, Stress is actuallly taken off the cervical structures. The correction is very shallow too and no rotation is applied. Hope this helps, regards, Dr Ian

  • @chiroexcellence There are cases of injures to the vertebral artery by chiropractors. i know there are some security test, but they dont ensure 100% the safety of the technique. i know you are not using a rotatory technique... i have founf in a book translatory technics..and they say is secure.

  • @RowsOfHouses You may need to watch again......ITS NOT MEDICINE :) for the record though the hospital recommended analgesics, anti inflammatory meds, heat, ( which by the way is inflammatory),painful mobilization and surgical consult for the possibility of cutting the sternocleidomastoid muscle to release the contracture. This treatment made the little girl very sick and symptoms got worse. 20 mins in my office, no drugs and off to play!! Mmmm... Wonder the parents made the right choice :)

  • @chiroexcellence I love the way it's not medicine when you want it not to be, but it tries in every way to be medicine, by it's definition. A bit like the way chiros condemn drugs (because they can't use them) but radiography is fine (because they can use it). You essentially have claimed to have cured this girl.

  • @RowsOfHouses I'm going to try to help you but I don't like my chances..where to start? ok, Gonstead Chiropractic only has one definition. It is defined by it's philosophy and medicine is nowhere mentioned, not even hinted toward; not out of malice or competition, it's just not relevant. Neither medical science or medication was mentioned in the clip. You posted a biased and ill-informed quip about the nature of a young girls care drawing an irrelevant parallel to medical science.

  • @RowsOfHouses Some people have requested a comment on Xrays..Xrays are diagnostic, not treatment & yes we def use anything that helps with our patient assessment & their care. Xrays are not medicine tho & they weren't invented for medicine. They were actually stumbled on by mistake and have rightly since helped in diag of many patients. Most high tech diag tools are invented by other skilled professions too; like engineers, physicists, robotics specialists etc, for use in health care by 1o Dr's.

  • @chiroexcellence We have no evidence that the prognoses you are claiming are true, nor do we have any study to date that shows chiropractic "adjustments" cure people in more cases than not, with any significant difference between a control. Just your lovely heroic tales on youtube. For every lovely tale you have of the little girl you "cured", I'd love to know how many returning "patients" you have that you see year in, year out.

  • @RowsOfHouses Principled Chiropractors have no issue with med's btw except for their over prescription or when pts are sold these things as a cure when at best they are allaying symptoms without any regard for options. We respect the place of medicine too. I'm not sure if you're an MD, a Med student or just star struck but my 12 years as a registered nursed working in medical, surgical, ccu & critical care taught me a lot about medicine. it's brilliant in the right place but NOT pure science.

  • @RowsOfHouses Many procedures in med occur daily without a double blind study in sight and in the area where med works best; crisis intervention, we wouldn't want the MD looking up his journals before making a decision. As for Chiropractic research! You're not looking hard enough. Heroic tales..no!, just trying to remove ignorance. Return visits..they def happen where needed but they'd pale to insignificance against repeat scripts and admissions for permanently treated 'cured' medical patients.

  • @RowsOfHouses I do seriously wish you well, you've obviously got some motivation toward principled health care. Honestly, I can be embarrassed by members of my profession too, you'll find holes in all of health care, but the genuine, principled Chiropractors of the world are extremely dedicated, compassionate, immensely skilled and honest. all the best, Dr Ian

  • @chiroexcellence Good work Ian, you are a credit to your profession.

  • @RowsOfHouses Obviously these tests are often done in collaboration with medicine but it's worth remembering that diag tests are big business & big money goes to the guys that produce the best versions of these tests first. A for which ones we'll use; anything that helps us learn about the cause of our patients problem respecting risk vs benefit. If potential benefit to patient outweighes any potential risk to the patient from the test by a long way, we'll consider using it. Hope this helps, Ian

  • It must be a great feeling to help children so much. Well done mate.

  • Hi Youtubers, Sorry for the delay in getting back to your questions, the practice has been flat out lately and then I am leaving to teach in Europe end of this week. Will get to your questions as soon as I can. Thanks so much for your support. All the best in health and happiness, Dr. Ian.

  • good lord what bs

  • It's amazing how calm that girl was. This is a good doctor. It's good to see professionals helping people.

  • @iamgabrielf Thanks, we appreciate that :)

  • @iamgabrielf, you're welcome doc. Greetings from America.

  • She is such a cutie.

  • When i see a child or kid with glasses, i automatically assume the child or kid is intelligent. Not that she isn't smart.

  • She is so cute, I love her glasses

  • No, to be honest this is not the usual situation. It is hard to comment properly without seeing your actual case but if you present with an exacerbation of the same problem then it should be responding to care. Speak to your Chiropractor and state your findings and possibly find a 2nd opinion. I wish I could help more. Kind regards and good luck, Dr Ian

  • but it hasn't helped this time. I saw the same doc each time. Is this typical?

  • I tried chiropractic after a bad car wreck left me with a concussion, back and neck pain/stiffness and headaches. It was wonderful! I had various other treatments as well, such as hot packs, massage, TENS therapy, cryotherapy, etc. I was pain free for the first time in a long time, as I had suffered from back and neck pain for years from old sports injuries. I stopped going because of costs, however, and eventually the pain returned. I have frequent headaches now and tried chiropractic again

  • She is really cute and looks sweet

  • @divemedIDC Thanks, I appreciate that. You do have some great Docs in the USA. Check the Gonstead website in your country and thanks again. Regards, Dr Ian

  • This "Doc" is awesome...too bad he is not in the States.

  • Man, that little girl is adorable.

  • @ebeatworld to everyone that says Olivia is cute, we agree! She is absolutely gorgeous :-)

  • omg she is sooo cute!!! <3

  • @srinivassiddarth Hi there and thanks for your input. This little girl has been under the care of an opthamologist for the past year. Both her and her sister have a similar eye condition. Regards, Dr Ian

  • @mrmabb123 :-) Speachless for all the wrong reasons! I'm amazed at your lack of knowledge and vocabulary. Not sure what "the kids bond" is or what pressure you were seeing or what " bone bending" you saw or what text has taught you that bones can grow in "wrong directions". A genuine offer to you though; feel free to explain your concerns lucidly and I'll definitely attempt to educate you. Kind regards, Dr Ian. Ps the pressure used in correction is only enough to move the vertebra about 1 - 2 mm

  • @mrmabb123 just stop while you are ahead and go back to watching your hospital soaps.

  • Comment removed

  • @matrixate Thanks, I agree, so nice to give back to little cuties like this. All the best in what you do. Dr. Ian :-)

  • hey, if you notice her left eye, it is more protruding than the right eye and it indicates that she needs proper correction of her vision and glasses, that is the main reason why she was using her neck improperly which lead her to the neck disorder..so she basically needs an ophthalmologist's consultation.. please let her parents know about this...goodluck..

  • You seem like an excellent doctor

  • She is so CUTE!

  • As a doc that takes care of a lot kids I just want to say this vid made me smile. Nothing is better then helping a little one feel better. Great job!! You'd think with right lat translation she'd have a right atlas not a left. Obviously that's not the case here.

  • Good job doc, You look like you really care for your patients.

  • @thesymphoniclife Thanks for taking the time to say so, I appreciate it. Dr. Ian

  • Glasses on a 3 year old? What horseshit! Fuck eye doctors.

  • poor kid. lol

  • @pboisei Rather her not correct the problem with specific scientific chiropractic spinal adjustments or pop a pill and "live with it"?

  • there is no research behind Chiropractic? research has been published in medical journals how Chiropractic is great for neck and low back pain! There are great evidence based Chiropractors working in hospitals taking care of patients with neck and back pain....Why? because MD's have no clue on what to do with these patients. Oh and by the way about 20 pill mills have been shut down in South Florida alone due to these irresponsible doctors,7 people die a day from pain pills!

  • @methanol10 Good to hear your thoughts my friend. .... How many other professions on the planet would be able to kill 7 people per day, every day and still be allowed to stay in Practice/business? Baffling isnt it?

  • @chiroexcellence Amen.

  • @methanol10 'How many other professions on the planet would be able to kill 7 people per day, every day and still be allowed to stay in Practice/business? Baffling isnt it?'

You mean like the Medical profession?! (not that I want to point fingers at anyone.. They are people who want to heal too.) But you should open your eyes and not be so bigoted

  • @methanol10 You're spot on! ADIO!

  • She is a cute girl, i am so glad you helped her.

  • She could have been canceled

  • @Acb197Hi there, I am not at all sure about what you mean by 'canceled'. If you are happy to qualify for me I'll be happy to respond, Kind regards, Ian

  • @Acb197 "Cancelled" if popping pills is more like it.

  • chiropractic is horrible. no science and medical justifications

  • @joekimusic Mmm, interesting; I just looked at your site where you ask that we, the public help you help a child. You saw a child helped enormously without drugs, surgery, coercion, trauma or damage; just loving technical care & attention, & u call it horrible. My words might be wasted but Im going to try for u; Gonstead Chiropractic is equal parts science, art & philosophy. Youre right about 1 thing tho; no medical justification, because its not medicine :-) Good luck with your own goals, Ian.

  • @chiroexcellence I am sure the same person drinks a glass of Fluoridated water each day checks to see if they are scheduled for another vaccine and takes and SSRI to get through the day. In that situation it is hard to imagine that drugless approach to healing is anything but scientific. I should ask, though I already know, how many of your patients after an adjustment commit suicide, shoot their peers at school, or become psychotic and violent?

  • @chiroexcellence From one DC to another...You gave it to him good doc!

  • @chiroexcellence, some people don't believe in chiropractic treatment more because of many CHIROPRACTORS & not the treatment itself. There are many doctors who are only interested in milking as much money as they possibly can from people and not about giving them meaningful results (from my own experience). But when a chiropractor truly cares they can work wonders. (this was in response to your reply to someone saying chiropractic is horrible ;)

  • @NuJoiseyMAN Thanks for your kind comments. You are so right, It is such a shame when people abuse the fantastic philosophy of Chiropractic for their own monetary gain. It stops so many from experiencing the true power or Chiropractic. Thank you for supporting true and honest Chiropractic as practiced in its original form. :-)

  • @joekimusic is that why some physical therapists and osteopathic doctors practice manipulation? there's more scientific research papers then you realize prepare for an article coming out in Spine regarding maintenance care for chronic lumbar/low back pain/conditions.

  • @joekimusic Of course chiropractic has not medical justifications...it happily works wonderfully outside medicine's merciless grasp. Oh...science is chiopractic.

  • Hello Doctor! I am studying to become a chiropractor at CMCC (toronto, Canada). I am in second year. You are truely an inspiration and a very professional doctor. I have seen some doctors out there who do not represent our profession in the correct way. Your videos are clearly a proof that there are some who are serious, professional and passionnate about this profession. Please accept my sincere respect to what you do everyday!

  • @shadeofme12 Thanks so much for your time and thoughts and good luck with your studies.

PS: The true art of Chiropractic is extremely difficult to master but the benefits to you and the patient cannot be counted. Please do your best to avoid the 'watered down' approaches to Chiropractic that you will be inundated with over the next few years. Thanks, Ian.

  • @chiroexcellence I would love to add Gonstead to my practice, but I was told the examination (practical components) are so hard, because the examiner will fail you if you didn't have the proper hand contacts. Any advice on what is best to add along with diversified technique? I am thinking activator and graston technique.

  • She is adorable!!!

  • agreed with dida. cute little girl .glad you could help her out!

  • great stuff!!!

  • what a cute little girl

  • It is so beautiful to see how much trust this little girl has in her Doctor and how in tune the Doctor is to her needs. What a gorgeous video!

  • @sarahkell24 Thanks for your comments Sarah! It is very special for us too when patients as young as Olivia have that absolute trust in us. Also such a joy when we are able to give back to them in taking away their pain and letting their bodies experience true health. Stay tuned, we have plenty more videos to come!
