One very important note to remember, this video trap was done at dozens of ACORN offices, before they finally ran across an office that fell for the trap. At dozens of ACORN offices before this, the people who came in with this prostitute story were thrown out, and in some cases the police were called in on them. So to say this is a reflection of ACORN as a whole is also misleading.
Though 5 out of 24 offices falling for this trap is bad, these cases goes to show that ACORN need to do a better job training their workers, and enforcing their standards and procedure rather then having all fundings pulled. One very important note to remember, this video trap was done at dozens of ACORN offices, before they finally ran across an office that fell for the trap. At dozens of ACORN offices before this, the people who came in with this prostitute story were thrown out, and in some cases the police were called in on them. So to say this is a reflection of ACORN as a whole is also misleading.

I would not confront those people, but make them feel comfortable until the deal is completed then call the authorites. This will at least expose them. Think about it: if this had been a real Acorn office and what happened was true, wouldn't they have give the details of where this office was located? Notice, not outdoors shot of the office or anything that identifies the premises as being Acorn affiliated. Don't fall for Beck's fantasies!

You imply that this was shot in several cities however I don't recall anyone in the video saying they were in Baltimore or any other city. The NY Times reported that it was allegedly shot in Brooklyn, which is in New York state not Maryland. I have no idea as to why the Baltimore DA is threatening prosecution in a NY case. Any organization will be outraged if they feel they are misrepresented. Maybe it's time to check out other news sources besides Fox?

The Baltimore DA is doing what he is doing because of the Maryland law on recording conversations without both parties consent. There are more tapes to come.
