  • im on my 2011 macbook pro wish it still had this design :/

  • i wish i had one mac are awasome

  • how much will this cost

  • @JTC0505 well back in 2007, this laptop was about $3,000

  • other than intel, can anyone tell me an actual difference between this and the powerbook g4, i mean i'd want something to do everyday tasks and to create music using ableton and logic, but i've found versions that run on ppc, should i pay £400 more just for the "macbook pro" label?

  • @bradnightmare powerbooks are a million pounds with bad battery life Q_Q

  • @bradnightmare Well MacBook Pros have intel which you already know and they are faster than g4 processors and lighter and they handle more.

  • i'd rather have this than the current mbp ... :( i miss 2007 ...

  • its changed alot. i have the new one its more sleeker than my dog

  • @tttwas I have the same exact one and im willing to sell it for 800 inbox me if interested.

  • @CandlesInADaze about £2,000 the power is used I've got virtual dj and some films I make so I think it's worth it

  • You cannot afford Macbook Air? There is giveaway at macbook7, com Go and get yours

    like it

  • wow this is old too old

I have the Macbook pro 17'' 2010 with i7 chip its amence

  • @NiksDjs Lol, how much did that set you back? Do you ever see that power used properly?

  • @NiksDjs yeah, time passes quick... this video was made 2 years ago!

  • what would you do, buy this one (15,6") for 900.- or buy a new one for 1700.- ??

  • still love this older model!

  • I'm going to buy one of these refurbished, but the 15 inch. I really miss this MacBook Pro, I mean the unibody ones are real awesome, but I wish there was at least one MacBook Pro left still being made that at least looked like this one.

Has anybody ever used GainSaver (.) com before?

  • I have old and new MBP, love both design.

  • I love "old" MacBook Pro :)

  • @AdiMercury I love "new" MacBook Pro :)

  • i have one and its a good pc for gaming too

  • hey this has a built in webcam right?

  • yep

  • @BigDaddyG13 Yes it does :)

  • @repeteproductions what need remote for?

  • @WickedOne2Three you can use the remote for Front Row... the multimedia application Apple provides (for music, TV, movies...)

  • @BigDaddyG13 yes it does.

  • @BigDaddyG13 yes it does. I use it for iChat, GMAIL chat.

  • This aint the new one because in the new you cannot change the battery there is no way to open it from the back to change anything

  • doest it have any vent for the warm air?

  • im sure it has its ways, lol

  • @blizza20 Interesting, it has vents near the hinge when you open the laptop. The MBP gets very warm... almost too hot actually.

  • @blizza20 the air vent is near the hinge... fans are located there.

  • really nice and good review of the MacBook!!

  • @noodlesnetwork Thanks for watching. Subscribe :)

  • it is fat not heavy but fat pro not my type i think

  • the keyboard looks to small.

  • its not, its huge

  • dont forget that its comfortable to type on as well

(this comment is towards thegenius13 and SaSsYj2009)

  • ugh no it does not >:C

  • wher is the fan on it

  • the fan is around the back of the laptop near the hinge.

  • thanks

  • Too heavy. I definitely wont recommend people buy the 17".

  • lol youre just weak

  • Hey sir, I have a question what kind of camera re you using to film this off of ? it has such good quality !

  • I used my Ikegami DV7W broadcast camera with a Sony lav mic to record this video.

  • hey thats the laptop im gona get pretty soon cool vid im gona send ya a friend invite i love computerz

  • WHAT ARE THE SPECS?

  • Here's my setup: 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x2GB (self-upgraded), 200 GB 7200RPM HDD, SuperDrive 8x, 17 in Hi-Res Widescreen, BkLit Keyboard/Mac OS, Country Kit

  • 2.5GHz, 4GB RAM, 250 GB 7200 rpm superdrive 8x, 17 inch Hi-res Glossy display

  • yep, Apple always comes out w/ better specs sooner or later :)

  • I've always wondered why people are always bitching about the three usb slots. How many do you need? I only use one for my iPod on my macbook, usually. If anybody else in the house needs to charge theirs too, I use two. If I need to download some pictures from my camera while two slots are used by iPods (which NEVER happens) I use all three. The macbook pro is incredible.

  • yah, there are plenty of USB ports. I use the F/W 800 though for my external hard drive.

  • okay.. i have a usb soundcard.. a usb midi keyboard.. a usb midi controller for effects. a usb to my virtual vinyl.. and firewire for my external hard drive. to some its very important. but i agree to a certain degree, some people are just day to day users and just want to impress their friends

  • I've got one of these, absolutely the best computer I ever had.

    Fast, reliable and pretty.

  • you're absolutely right!

  • what do you mean???? the audio on the MBP works great.

  • Thanks for the video very nice.

  • I appreciate that a lot... thanks.

  • does this have a dvd/player on the new macbook pro?

  • there is a superdrive (DVD player/burner)

  • does it come with Blu-Ray? Is it good for gaming?

  • future updates to the MBP may include Blu-Ray, since the format war is now over.

Until then, it's only a Super Drive.

Gaming: not much time (or interest) to test it so I can't comment. Anyone else??

  • I want a lap top for college. Is this a good one to get. Ive always been a Windows user but im sick and tired of it crapping out on me. i also do not play any games on my computer.

  • Macbook Pro is the way to go! Trust me, run Parallels if you need to have Windows on the Mac. This is one of the best investments I ever made. Plus, you get a student/education discount at the Apple store.

  • Nice review. I want to buy a MBP but I'm not very decided on whether buying a 15" or going for a bigger HD 17" widescreen. I am going to do video editing so a bigger screen will be useful. But then again, i don't want a huge laptop to carry around.. I also have a widescreen 22" LG monitor with DVI so I could plug it in for editing. What do you guys suggest? Thank you in advance.

  • There's never been a better time to buy a MBP -- Apple just released a new version!

  • I would tend to disagree. If you don't absolutely need it immediately, I recommend to wait, for several reasons. 1. The 9 series of the nVidia graphics chip. More efficient (65nm chip) and cooler. 2. 802.11n - all current "N" are just drafts and are not finalized. 3. The Nehalem chip which is supposedly one of the biggest upgrades since the release of the intel pentium way back in the day. 4. Support for DDR3 ram. It is more energy efficient and thus releases less heat.

  • thanks for letting us know! appreciate your input

  • has this taken effect yet?.. b.c i have a 17 inch MBP comming in the mail on monday, and i want to know if i should hold off from opening it.

  • no word yet on the Blu-ray drive on the MBP. Any insiders know about it?

  • for how long sinsear..

  • what's your question? thanx

  • I would get the 17" High Res version

  • that's what I have -- editing video on this laptop is glorious!

  • yeah my 2.4 17" 4GB now 320GB hard drive cost me like 5000

    it has an AMAZING design

worth the price solely because of MAC OS X

  • yea i have to say HP has to be apple's worst enemy. they are the only company that make products tat are able to compete with apple

  • true!

  • how much is it

  • over $3,000 after taxes!

  • Ok, thanks.

  • i know i got the 15 inch 2.4gh plus a case and apple care and it was over $3000! its way too much but it is useful!

  • Toshiba??!! Better than Apple??!! In their dreams! My father has a Toshiba laptop, and it is one of the WORST laptop computers I have EVER used. At least you could have said HP or Dell or Lenovo... Those can at least somewhat compete in quality with Apple.

  • Toshiba better than Apple, WOW you are incredibly stupid to think such a ridiculous thing.

  • sure is a better design then a dell anyways

  • great video!

  • whats the security lock

  • the security lock allows you to attach the laptop to a cable so it doesn't get stolen.

I believe Kensington manufactures a security lock.

  • its a 15in not 17

  • visit rePetePro dot com and find the specs there.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Sorry, my bad....saw wrong

  • uh lol? it's a 17"

  • It has 3 usb ports, obvious sign that it is a 17".

  • dik hed it has 2 one is a magsafe

  • two on one side, one on the other

do your research before you go around calling people "dik" heads

  • no its not its got 3 usb ports the 15 only have 2

  • dik hed it has 2 one is a magsafe

  • No, one is alone on one side, which also has the Firewire and DVI, and the other two are on the other side with the magsafe port. The Superdrive is in front.
