@Sicklectric not a problem! They have VERY ALPHA builds of CM9 right now, but video isn't working and neither is Netflix. And my daughter uses the touchpad each day to watch iCarly and her shows. TRUST ME, I'll have a video of Ice Cream Sandwich on the TouchPad once it becomes a little more stable. Stay tuned please! I post videos on a regular basis!

hi i just installed evrything as u said. bt now when i open my gallery it says sd card unmounts. i cant receive anything via bluetooth its says storage problem..pls help..:(

Great video. Thanks. I didn't have the Palm Inc folder either. What I did have was something like this: c:\Program files (x86)\HP Web Os\sdk\bin. This is the folder that I used instead of Palm Inc, which I don't have. A little tricky using the command prompt. Haven't done that in years, but everything seemed to work. I've been installed for about 10 minutes and everything is awesome so far!!!

@HoodToonzTV mine doesn't do that. So I would WIPE the touchpad and install the 3.5 alpha from a CLEAN install. that's what I did!

@wwjoshdew Thanks for repying but i found a way to fix it and i fixed my friends the problem is the Market it comes with all you have to do is force stop the market then download and replace the one it comes with and you should NEVER lose you wifi connection again

Imma install ics on a windows 7 (upgrade to windows 8 preview) tablet, the acer iconia w500 (windows version of the acer's android tablet) running an amd fusion c-50 dual core @1GHz apu, 2GB ram, and a 32GB ssd (might upgrade to faster/larger one later). Comes with a keyboard dock.

@K9rosie no there is not, but IT IS getting ICS! They are hard at work to get Ice Cream Sandwich running good on the touchpad! I paid 100 for mine, but you will have to pay more as they are no longer available for that price.

@infenit101 yes it is... AND its the ONLY! lol. IF ANYONE DOES MAKE A ROM, they ALWAYS base it off of what Cyanogen has already done. They are EXPERTS at Android, and I truly love their roms!

@99camarosupersport i don't know what to tell you bud! When I installed the exe, it created the folders! You MIGHT have a 64 bit system so it MIGHT be in the x86 program directory folder

Excuse me, I have a major issue. After my Touchpad had cm7 successfully installed, my battery had ran out. That was natural, I was aware that it needed to be charged. Anyway, Ive placed it on the regular adapter like always, yet it refuses to charge, & I cant turn anything on because the battery is low. Any help?

@Sephirothdrw i have had mine run out completely, several times. I just hook it up to the normal charger (that the touchpad came with it) and it eventually gets enough charge to come back on. sorry you're having issues.

During the video you said to hold the volume down button but in the directions it says to hold the volume up button, so you may want to add an annotation in your video. Other than that, thanks for posting this video and I can't wait for CM9.

@bcb116 dude, i have had it unplugged and not used it (kinda forgotten really) and a couple days later it's still got battery. lol. it's good, I was tethering my evo3d (Free 4G Tether FTW!) and watching MW3 YouTube videos with people swarming around it. things freaking awesome. they posted that they will be porting CM9 (ICE CREAM SANDWICH!) once Google released the ICS source on Nov 17, which is in a few days! :-) I'm loving it!

@bcb116 my mother-in-law works for a company where she got it for 66 bucks and then turned around and sold it to use for 100... she can't get any more, but she wishes she could... because people keep wanting to buy them from her for 100 to 150 bucks, when she only had to pay 66 bucks with her "discount". lol. so yeah, wrote her a 100 dollar check and enjoying this dual core 1gb ram android tablet! lol

Tried android 4.0 in android SDK. That's pretty cool how it scales itself to tablet ui or phone ui based on the screen's resolution.
