All these talks about who is the strongest man in the world are a joke !! How can somebody even compare Mariusz to Savickas ? Look at the weights lifted and a total score of Savickas and forget Mariusz for good ! We all know who is the best and there's no match for him.
I will tell you what I tell everybody talking that way. Mariusz is the best Strength athlete of the world, (not the strongest man, difference). He is the most powerful man there is. Power = Strength x Speed.
Mariusz never prepares for the Arnold, it's a hobby for him right now. He has another job. He dwarfed Savickas when he wanted to. He still can do it.
He would also ko Savickas in less than 6 seconds in a fight.
Mariusz is a monster, a freak of nature. Try to beat him, then talk.
who wins in a fight, is of no consequence in a STRONGMAN COMPETITION. Yes, Mariusz does have better endurance than Savickas. However, do not underestimate Savickas's new endurance performance though. Savickas has come a long way since he started, and his current level of endurance and stationary strength "pure"strength is unmatched by anyone. He also has the atlas stones timed world record btw, a test of both strength and endurance.
Yeah, but just watch WSM 2003 or any deadlift per reps event. Mariusz always beat Savickas in this. But, of course, one then should decide where the limit between strength and endurance is. I personaly think Savickas is a monster on deadlift, but he couldn't do a single pull-up. As you said, I agree with it, I think his Atlas Stones record is his most impressive performance right now.
That's not what I meant. I'm just pissed off when people don't talk properly about Mariusz. And I'm astonished when I see that Mariusz' performances went down since 2003, while Savickas' (same age) skyrocketted. Mariusz is burnt out but that's still very surprising, and of course, very impressive from Savickas.
You keep talking about how amazing mariuz is. But he ISN'T unstopable. There are pleanty of guys who are faster than him in the mobile events, and pleanty of guys who are stronger than him in the static events. Mariusz is one of the best, but not THE best.
Do you think he can? He was 400 pounds in Korea. And he gave up in the truck pull after 13 meters. BUT, but, maybe I'm a bad tongue, cause Travis Ortmayer said on a forum that his back was hurting him then.
Well, in 2002 and 2003, he kicked his ass in stationnary strength too. Then he started partying too much, but I'm sure he can come back at his best if he gets sleeping normally again.
if i was that strong mm :) even a bit of

Mariusz never ever won stationary events-let alone even 1 single Arnold Classic. Savickas rules by a universe over Pussy ahem Pudz.

Yes I think he can do a pull up, since he has a very strog back. even if he is heavy..
But if he had a bad back, then thats another reason..

Marisuz has no chance vs Savickas in raw, stationary strength.

That was just heröic!
500kg, and he didn't struggle to lift it.
Mariusz is still my man, I could talk for hours about him, but Savickas is trully the best right now.
