science existed long before the beginning of religion, matter of fact, it is because of science that religion was started. ancient farmers needed an explanation for the seasons, weather, and every other natural event. they did not have the knowledge that we have today. by the way god is not religion, god is a spiritual bond.the bible is not even translated correctly b/c all the original texts were either burned partially or mixed up. the bible is just a fable that holds some degree of truth.

If you trust the Bible and the prophets who contributed with their reports of God speaking to them, you can not simply rewrite it to suit the new modern scientific discoveries.
Space was heresy. Hence it is still heresy if you truly believe in God's word.
You are rewriting history and thousands of years old religious texts to suit the modern age, pretending that your beloved God intended something else.

@Baleur umm, there is no part in the bible where it ever says space is heresy..in fact, when God visited abraham, he told him to count the stars, and for every star he counted, he would have a son, and also, in genesis it says god created the stars, and the angels told the sheperds 2 folow the north star 2 find baby jesus..so space was always in the bible, and certainly was NOT heresy. its arrogant 2 speak of sumthin with such emphasis when u actually dont know the facts in detail.

They called Him a blasphemer too---when He forgave sins---that's right---only God can forgive sins. @Uredd Read John 14:8-9. Jesus was telling Philip that He Was God in the flesh. Read the rest of the chapter. You will find that Jesus tells that those who love Him will keep His commandments. Who gave the commandments to Moses-that's right---God Almighty. He also goes on to tell that once He leaves the flesh He would send His comforter--the Holy Ghost. Such a beautiful plan! Now, when undeniable proof of space has emerged, you changed your point of view and suddenly the previous HERETICAL ideas are all part of His creation? My good sir, when the Bible was written space was heresy, you can not rewrite it.
