  • i'm buying this gun brand new with a holster and a box of ammo(50 bullets) for $345 total. that a good price?

  • I wouldn't buy bird seed from Gander Rip Off Hill

  • i have this same gun i dont care for it.. it does not feel good in my hands and dont like the safety .. i have this same gun in black but it only holds 6 rounds .. i want to but a xd 9mm for carry

  • nice gun, here in Argentina, now Bersa launch a new pistol, the BP9CC especial for export in the US, a Carry weapon 9mm 8plus1, I think 9mm its a better catridge than .380 that american people seems better. Here in Argentina is not accepted for gun owners, always stop better 9mm like .380. anyway good review

  • This gun is awesome. Buy it and you will not be let down

  • @mrjerryk He can touch the damn trigger all he wants.

  • Love mine

  • Slide comes off, you cant explain that.

  • @lanamal The slides come off of all automatics. What the heck are you talking about?

  • can you tell us where is the serial number located in this bersa thunder plus?

  • FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER WHEN YOU HANDLE THE WEAPON!

  • haha yeah gander is such a huge rip off. They were selling ruger p90's and p944's for $610. The local gun shop sells those for $480. haha they were even trying to sell a used taurus .380 for $289! you can get a brand new lcp for $299! sometimes I wonder who in their right mind would ever buy anything from that store, other than clearance and sale items.

  • @mccartjm2 Depends on what you are getting. I picked up a used Ruger Mark 2 pistol there for $125. It was like brand new and a great price.

  • @mccartjm2 i wouldnt go so far as to say they are a rip off, but i would say you have to "shop" them. In other words wait for the guns to go on sale. I have gotten good buys there, IF you can wait for the gun you want to go down in price.

  • I went for the plus and Im more than happy with this little gun. shoots straight out of the box. 600 rounds of PMC and no misfires or jams. It did jam twice with Hornadys Critical defense and thats out of 15 rounds so i wouldn't recommend using that ammo,

I will be testing some FIOCCHI FMJ ammo later this week. (cheap stuff)

  • I am not able to conceal this gun, but still want it. I am a left hand shooter and wanted to open carry it. Do you know of any holsters for it? I am going to be doing car repo and this gun was a perfect size gun for me.

  • Great review! I have the very same stainless P95. Nice reliable gun but I had to put a Hogue grip on it because it slides around in my hand a bit. I'm thinking about stippling it. Considering getting the Bersa 380 now...

  • is the bersa thunder 380 better than the cz82?i just bought a cz82 thats very accurate pistol.im kinda new to pistols.thanks for any thoughts.

  • Great video. I really want the 15 rounds, but I'm worried that the grip on the Plus model may be too thick for inside-the-belt concealed carry, wouldn't you say? It looks thicker even than the full-size 9mm you showed. What's your experience been: does the 380 Plus print a lot? I'm really looking for total concealment, but didn't want to settle for the CC model (too few rounds). I'd appreciate any advice.

  • @marcelodal I have not had issues with the grip being too thick, the real issue is the beaver tail on this gun, it jabs me in the side and it has been a issue.

  • Do you know much this gun costs at gander Mountain?

  • @andrewvanrhoberts I'm not sure. I do know that Gander Mountain seems to be a lot more expensive than the local gun stores on just about every handgun. I don't usually shop at Gander.

  • is the only difference between the thunder 380 and thunder 380 plus is that it holds 15? i want 15 rounds! :(

  • @cardz06 Yep, that's the only difference..15 rounds!

  • @cardz06 that's not the only difference. The metal on the 380 plus is made of nickel. The slide is smoother. Also, it's grip is rubber, whereas on the regular 380, it's plastic. Not sure how everyone else feels about it, but when I compared the two in my hand, it felt like the regular 380 was an economy version on the plus. I went with the plus.

  • ummm... .380 Auto....? Thats a .380 ACP only gun. It can use the auto but your not goning to get a clean straight shot cause the casing is different! basically the casing isn't clamped right so in millimeter perspective it will graze the barrel up. I own the newer Walther PPK/s. Bersa is better.. 1 reason. I can see the sights on the gun compares to PPK/s. 2000+ rnds and I just changed the spring. Amazing gun

To all you that don't know.. Use appropriate AMMO! or you may have an accident!

  • My bersa jammed with Fiocci ammo

    Big time!

    Hjp works good!

    Trigger broke 2x,stayed in fullback

Position and gun fired until EMPTY !

jam at feed ramp a lot!

Keep it pointed DOWN RANGE AT ALL

    TIMES!

    H-Nevada

  • @Xx256xx1 Everything jams with Fiocchi Ammo.

  • 1:26

    :[

You may want to do somthing to help your country, but that isnt it...

  • i would say these are better than the ppk's, i dont know how many times ive heard of complains about having to send ppks back constantly

  • @fireball676

I think that it's in the design of this type of firearm. Since this video was made (this is a re-posted video from my old channel) I have heard of many of the same issues with these Bersa handguns.

  • @one54cm i guess it happens with all of these recoil operated guns...i do think its funny that this pos .22 i have is essentially the same design as the ppk...however its ejector doest have a slot that big enough to allow the extractor to grab the back of the case so it jams every 2 seconds.....so many things can cause one of those pistols...so i guess manufacturing anomolies can cause these things.

  • where can u buy Hollow tips, and clips 4 this cuete.

  • My 7 round Bersa Firestorm 380 was problem free right out of the box, my thunder 380 plus needed to get broken in. Every 50 or so rounds it would jam or misfeed, I now have shot over 500 rounds thru it and I have not a single complaint. I just stay away from fiocchi and armscor ammo, I do get misfeeds with those.

  • @joser76 just a heads up.. IDK if you keep ammo in your clips for weeks at a time. essentianally after time with the ammo stationed in it it weakens the clip and causes feed failure. buy a new clip and see the results. Or since it is so new you may want to try to use FMJ ammo with the appropriate grain. that helped me out on my SpringField 1911 Millspec after 100 rnds.

  • @jaycobalt81 I hear ya. The first thing I did was buy a extra mag for this same reason. Since this is the pistol I carry, I try to keep it as clean & reliable as possible.

  • any feeding problems with this gun? Anymore jamming opposed to the standard bersa?

  • Smith and Wesson. Is actully English. Dan Wesson was the founder. He was from England. I see what you mean though. Great video!

  • I just got my 380 Plus, it's all black but the sight dots are white not orange. All and all a really nice gun. The only thing that sucks is the ammo is hard to find and the magazines are expensive.

  • Some parts are mim, also I experienced misfeeds but I suspect the magazines. The gun is not forgiving if limp wristed. I have found that this gun is indeed accurate. Overall, for the price, it is an outstanding deal.

  • i just dont like the 380 round. its kinda weak and might as well step up to 9mm. ammo isnt cheap for it like 9mm either

  • Is it significantly thicker than the 7 round bersa?
