I love this game. I wish there were more like it, it's like a visual novel on a handheld, and time hollow did a great job showing how great something like this can be, even on the DS. I love the story. I wish Konami would make more.

I was really shocked. When I played it I went to continue to see if there was anything else after the ending. And instead I got this. I like the original ending better.
I really feel bad for those other girls that liked Ethan though, he ended up liking Kori so in the future, he can get with her daughter but I sorta wanted to end up with the girls that kept fighting for his attention, not the one lost in time.

It's even more frustrating that you could have beaten the game in a couple of minutes instead of a couple of hours. It truly frustrated me, I'm trading this game in. :p LOL.

I think it should be a 45 min. - 1hr special.... and it'd be a stand alone special-type thing such as the time stranger kyoko ova. there was no anime for the series, just the ova. Something along those lines would be soooo cool!!!

How do you follow Sox? I've completed the game once (and I don't plan to complete it again until someone tells me) When I completed the game there was no "Follow Sox" option or something like that. You just have to clear the game once, that's how I did it, then you start over, and when Ethan's mom calls him for dinner, Sox runs off and you should be able to follow him, that's all, really. ^_^;

What I think is. Remember that he has to give up his Hollow Pen at the age of 17 right? Well he just sent the Hollow Pen back to the past WHERE THERE IS NO IRVING! So he can restart back to the time where he first got the pen without any disturbance, and the girl at the end of the game is possibly his cousin. We never get to see future Kori. ._. Hey but I never got this scene where you can have decisions. O_O
I think this game has 3 endings all together, Regular, this one and another one (I read about it but I havent heard if it's true so I'm going to play it over again and try it out :] )
ya know he said he made everything right in the end and kept all his promises, well he didnt keep 1. when morris was still a boffin and ethan told him about the pen morris made him promise that he would help him on his test so he can go to his fav college. but in the end he didnt help him and morris ended up a high school drop out lol. but i really do feel for him the whole time i was wondering why ethan didnt help him lol.
it is because changing a test score was not good enough reason to lose some of his lifespan. also, he did not have a flashback capable of changing the score.
theres a 3rd ending you can get in the game, during the epiloge, you must choose not to open the final portal to give yourself the pen, instead leave and search the town for Sox, once you find him you will get another ending (or after you find to him you give yourself the pen, im not sure, iv just heard about this and im going to test it myself right now, you should just beable to just chapter select epiloge and finish it from there, instead of replaying the whole game)
yes, everything is confirmed, you can start from the epiloge after you beat the game, continue normally untill you are given the option to return the pen to yourself in the past, say NO, and then leave and visit EVERVY area, after you find Sox or talk to people about him in every area go back to your room (there should be dialoge of Ethan telling Sox to stop bothering people, if you dont get this dialoge, then you didnt find all the events, so go back and keep searching

Yeah, the woman we see in the background in Chronos at the end has to be grown-up Kori, and the girl in the surprise part of the ending that looks like her must be Kori and Derek's daughter (as mentioned in Time-Displaced Derek's letter to Ethan). I like to think she's called "Korina" given the resemblance. ;)
oh no this isn't the alternate ending it's right after you beat the game the main caharacter confronts the evil guy and fixes everything so the main character of the present doesn't have to go through the things that he did when you actually played the game.
Damnit all. I did this as well, thinking it would lead to an alternate path in the game, one where things weren't left hanging with Kori at the end and Derek having to give up everything. I still had hope, but then the credits pop up just like that. Isn't there some kind of hidden way to make things right?
As I replied elsewhere in this set of comments, the "Kori" at the end is most likely Derk and Kori's daughter (Time-Displaced Derek's letter mentioned they had one). The resemblance is just the game designers messing with our heads, hehe.
I mean think about it, it's not like she said "OMG Ethan you have to go back and save me again!" Ethan just doesn't recognize his "new" cousin because he has to be manually reminded of what's changed in the present.
The character profiles, however, also mentioned that Time-Displaced Kori the Second (the first being the one who died) was coexisting with Aunt Kori. The girl at the end could be the time-displaced one or Ethan's cousin; Konami was, indeed, messing with our heads by not saying which one.
Kori was saved for good, so Time-Displaced Kori Mark II should've ceased to exist. It doesn't say that exactly. True, Kori's profile hasn't changed when the epilogue opens, but as I said previously, Ethan has to be manually reminded of anything that's changed timeline-wise, and the profile info is from his viewpoint. Maybe Konami forgot? We see what looks like her in a Cafe Cronos flashback pic, but her back's turned.
And when Mary sends the note to her past self, he says that Kori has disappeared from the study. The only one left is the one that falls off the school roof, who goes on to marry Derek.
I liked this game lol, when I first played it I didn't know what was going on and I was hecka confused, but I beat the game so..i understand now, great game!

ya know he said he made everything right in the end and kept all his promises, well he didnt keep 1. when morris was still a boffin and ethan told him about the pen morris made him promise that he would help him on his test so he can go to his fav college. but in the end he didnt help him and morris ended up a high school drop out lol. but i really do feel for him the whole time i was wondering why ethan didnt help him lol.

it is because changing a test score was not good enough reason to lose some of his lifespan. also, he did not have a flashback capable of changing the score.

-*2ND ALTERNATE ENDING*-
theres a 3rd ending you can get in the game, during the epiloge, you must choose not to open the final portal to give yourself the pen, instead leave and search the town for Sox, once you find him you will get another ending (or after you find to him you give yourself the pen, im not sure, iv just heard about this and im going to test it myself right now, you should just beable to just chapter select epiloge and finish it from there, instead of replaying the whole game)

yes, everything is confirmed, you can start from the epiloge after you beat the game, continue normally untill you are given the option to return the pen to yourself in the past, say NO, and then leave and visit EVERVY area, after you find Sox or talk to people about him in every area go back to your room (there should be dialoge of Ethan telling Sox to stop bothering people, if you dont get this dialoge, then you didnt find all the events, so go back and keep searching

I did play the game .. but i dont know what to do, because i came to the end..i think, but there was more to do, everyone was happy and my friends just leaved chronos, then i dont know what to do, so i tried stuff, (did not work) then i just saved and turn power of.. :S what should i do??

That wasn't an ending, that was during the story, after you give Derek tips on how to run his cafe better.

No, Kori wasn't and couldn't be helping him run Chronos at that point because she hadn't been properly rescued yet.

Yeah, the woman we see in the background in Chronos at the end has to be grown-up Kori, and the girl in the surprise part of the ending that looks like her must be Kori and Derek's daughter (as mentioned in Time-Displaced Derek's letter to Ethan). I like to think she's called "Korina" given the resemblance. ;)

That's the main ending. Theoretically, the same could be true in the alternate ending, we just don't get to see it "on-camera".

oh no this isn't the alternate ending it's right after you beat the game the main caharacter confronts the evil guy and fixes everything so the main character of the present doesn't have to go through the things that he did when you actually played the game.

Damnit all. I did this as well, thinking it would lead to an alternate path in the game, one where things weren't left hanging with Kori at the end and Derek having to give up everything. I still had hope, but then the credits pop up just like that. Isn't there some kind of hidden way to make things right?

As I replied elsewhere in this set of comments, the "Kori" at the end is most likely Derk and Kori's daughter (Time-Displaced Derek's letter mentioned they had one). The resemblance is just the game designers messing with our heads, hehe.
I mean think about it, it's not like she said "OMG Ethan you have to go back and save me again!" Ethan just doesn't recognize his "new" cousin because he has to be manually reminded of what's changed in the present.

The character profiles, however, also mentioned that Time-Displaced Kori the Second (the first being the one who died) was coexisting with Aunt Kori. The girl at the end could be the time-displaced one or Ethan's cousin; Konami was, indeed, messing with our heads by not saying which one.

Kori was saved for good, so Time-Displaced Kori Mark II should've ceased to exist. It doesn't say that exactly. True, Kori's profile hasn't changed when the epilogue opens, but as I said previously, Ethan has to be manually reminded of anything that's changed timeline-wise, and the profile info is from his viewpoint. Maybe Konami forgot? We see what looks like her in a Cafe Cronos flashback pic, but her back's turned.

I liked this game lol, when I first played it I didn't know what was going on and I was hecka confused, but I beat the game so..i understand now, great game!
