Awesome, where was this filmed?? I remember seeing cancer support deicide at the Astoria (RIP) in about 92, this song holds many great memories of a fantastic era in metal history, a million thanks for the memories Barry :)
Vocals are so clear, i remember this band coming out back in the day and thought it was awesome, recently got a copy of Death Shall Rise, thanks Barry for uploading this, very cool
Fucking great song maaaan!! Got it by chance in an old cassette from a friend and couldn't stop listening to it!! It's always mentioned when talking to friends about the songs we listened to in those Death Metal days back in the Patagonia (Argentina) ! Thanks for those moments! It's still awesome! Greetings from Argentina and thanks for uploading!!!
After hearing this song again on here I am am really kicking myself...I bought 'Live Death' years ago really cheap & sold it a few years back because I needed the money at the time...& what really got me mad was at the time I sold it my bank charged me an overdraft fee which was about the cost of the CD when I sold it!! Maybe someday I'll get it back! Oh well...thank God for Youtube!!
@BarrySavage This is my favourite Cancer song, thanks for sharing this video with all us metalheads. You guys truly were an amazing band, It's too bad you guys are no longer around. I would have loved to see you guys play live but i was too young in the nineties. Carl Stokes is one of my Drumming Idols.
i would like to thank everybody for their great support & cool comments, this was a very special time for me & good memories & im very happy that i uploaded this clip to share with everybody on youtube... thanks

Opener from the fantastic second Album "Death Shall Rise" with James Murphy on the lead guitar (1991). Produced by Scott Burns in the Morrisound-Studios in Tampa Bay, Florida. Backing Vocals on the Studio-Version by Deicide´s Glen Benton.
Cancer...next to Benediction, they're one of my favorite old school British death metal acts of all time and to the16th6toothson, I noticed that too! John Walker is a beast when it comes to vocals.
actually... interestingly enough for those of you who don't know this song is on the CD "Live Death" also featuring Malevolent Creation, Suffocation and Exhorder from the 1992 Milwaukee Metalfest. ...so i've heard this MANY times before but, never SEEN it!!!!!
i was 9 when i really started to listen to death metal i remember i listened to pestilence bolt thrower deicide napalm and suffocation and when i heard this about a year later im not kidding i heard cancer for he first time i actualy pissed my pants

The other members have now formed a band called Hail Of Fire. The link to thier page is on Metal Archieves.

As I hang by my neck
Choking on a rope
Till I'm near death
Suffocating rapidly

Cut to the ground
And stabbed in the chest
Hung, Drawn and Quartered
