just to say with the instant guard that is actually in the manual and it applies to all secondary effects of weapons such as hammer: immediately unsheath your hammer and start charging, s'n's: instant guard, lance, gunlance and great sword: instant guard and then dual shields: demonize

Just a little tip that goes with the last one :

you can do the "special unsheath" while running too. instead of R+/\, it will be R+/\+O ( /\ and O at the same time ).

This way you can start the RRR longsword combo while unsheathed, you can instant guard while running. With a bowgun, it will make you reload at the same time you unsheathe.

You can do "special attacks" (like the GS auto-block) by pressing the R button and holding Triangle and Circle. Every weapon type has one.

The auto gaurd ain't new but its useful for new people. All weapons can do that here is what happens:

LongSword = A cool slice like the one when you press R button

Greatsword = Block

Hammer = Starts the charge

HuntingHorn = Puts you to a Note Plaing position

Lance and Gunlance = BLock.

About the fast guard, if you do like that, you souldn't be moving while extracting the weapon holding triangle + R, but if you press Triangle + Circle + R you can perform a rapid guard even if you ar running, so you don't need to stand still, and it's even more useful

Por supuesto que puedo ayudarte. Esa es mi vieja armadura de Rathalos Plateado (ahora voy con Akantor xd). Los atributos que te dan (optimizados con joyas) son Subir ataque(alto),ESP(tus golpes nunca rebotan) y una skill de 5 joyas de 2 puntos (hab. afilado aumentado, experto en flauta)....

Por otra parte la espada se llama Siegmund, y se sube desde la Espada GOlem, espada valkyria y luego siegmund. Es bastante buena para empezar con los bichos de rango G ^^

Hola amigo. He usado dos programas para grabar este video: RemotejoySDL y hypercam2. EL remotejoySDL emula la PSP a tiempo real en la pantalla de tu PC, asi pues puedes jugar con el teclado a la psp, o jugar a la PSP mientras utilizas un capturador de pantalla (hypercam2) para grabar el video. Espero que te haya servido de algo

You could make siegmund starting w/ valkyrie blade, improve to spartacus, then siegmund. or, from scratch, first bone blade, then bone blade+, bone slasher, golem blade, golem blade+, then you got valkyrie. 3 FireWyvern Fluid, 5 Wyvern Fang, 3 Giant Bone for valkyrie.4 Rathalos Shell,3 Rathalos Tail,3 Tigrex Tail for Spartacus, then Rathalos Carpace: 6, Rathalos Ruby: 1, Monoblos Heart: 1 for Siegmund ^^.

All weapons have sumthin special while ur holding R when running then pressing circle and triangle the same time... hammer starts chargin at once, the ones you said and the long sword does a swiping attack and you could press R after that attack and use ur spirit gauge...

you can make Sieglinde from Valkyrie. It's easier and lesser stuff needed to make it. But make the Spartacus then the Siegmund. Sieglinde is a weapon that cannot be further improved, so as siegmund but its stronger and sharper.

Congratulations for your pro savegame (if it does exist). At least, I made the video with some things i discovered since i started playing. That doesn't mean I discovered them so late. And so, maybe I don't have pro armours, but well, I just hunt in group, and i play other games, so I left MHF2 just for fun, wich I am not getting the best armours/weapons in my savegame .

Its gypceros gunlance. Its named Big SLam, and its really really good to use. It's 460 raw atack and 320 poison atack I think, I use it cos there is no Thunder-type gunlance :(

well, um, another "curiosity" then is that you can use items with a SnS unsheathed, just guard and press square. (again, in the book, but a little extra info thor those who dont know!)
