So I watched this and at first thought, "Yeah ok, rethread it sure, can we get past the basics please?" and then after cleaning the bobbin case and the problem still there, I changed the bobbin so I could see the threads were different. Then realized it was the top thread bunching and making horrible sounds. I rethreaded it like you suggested and I'll be darned, it freakin worked! Thanx! I might have given up.
After rethreating the machine, i was ready to continue sewing and all of a sudden, the machine started sewing backwards. Checked the reverse lever and it was loose. what could be the problem. I've been using sewing machines since i was 12 years old and iI have never had this happen to me. I was shocked!
@sponeydude It could be the handwheel spring. I messed up mine and the thread would get all tangled and the machine would get stuck. I just went online and searched for the part and replaced it myself.
damn you fine like the thread you use to sew. you fine like pinot noir wine which yo monkey see 3 monkeys on the pinot noir bottle feel me. Is it okay if a guy does this as a job?
hi your video is very informative, buti have a problem i cant solve, and cant find here..my machine just does not pull the thread up from the bobbin, its like the needle is too short..s o i cant sew .i have a&r classic , i think it was made by toyota. i was wondering if u could help or advise please ?
I was trying to put a new needle in place..when accidentally I dropped it into the tiny hole in between the needle plate :( Can u please suggest how do I retrieve it back?
I have a Singer Touch and Sew machine (model 778).
Knotting thread on the bottom of fabric. I am close chucking the machine out......HELP

thanks, i fixed it, well I had a couple of things that I had going on with the machine. But i did what was shown and it works now. fingers crossed

I have tried all of this and my machine still goops up and sounds like its jaming. What else could be the problem? Please help?!!

I have turned the needle round the same thing happens. When I use it there is no stitching whatsoever.
