Oh sorry I entered your realm of Nerdyness, fact is, that sonic is nowadays only presented on Nintendo consoles, making it shitty whithout developers having any chance to fix it, unless they're awesome or they are Nintendo themselves. Which is not the case with sonic, or with any sonic related game created by some guy claiming it's not sonic while it definately is. GL doing nothing mate.

How do you make them move and jump with animation? I got it w/o animation down, but I dunno how to do it with. I've tried doing it, but character either stays in the air waits a few seconds then falls, when I hold the jump button he goes flying until I let go of it then he falls back down, or runs in the air and sometimes I jump where there's a wall and he falls all the way down and never comes back, even though I put it so the wall would stop him from going anywhere. Can you help me with this?

oh no problem just create one sprite first, and on the same window that shows the sprite after you've finished drawing it, click the white paper icon to create the next image, and draw the next image of the character. need more help, let me know.

ok so you make a sprite then create the sprite again but with a movement and that should help him move?

yep! when you make the sprite you might want to copy the original and then paste it in the new sprite and edit it from there.

That's kinda a long answer. I recommend watching Stevmay09's 'How to make a fighting game' tutorial, it includes how to add jumping and gravity in that.
