Just got this for my wife for Valentines day from Apple for 100$. She has the very first generations of Ipods ever so she was long due for an upgrade. This is going to be perfect for her. I think people complain about the size and don't see it as a good thing. Just going to take some getting used to.

IPod Touch should be a touch screen version of an iPod. Now the iPod Nano is touch screen compatible. They should change the name to iPod Touch, since it is Touch Screen base now, and the real iPod Touch should leave the iPod family. Its nothing like any of the other models. It should be renamed to iTouch or iPad Mini or whatever. Thumbs up if you agree.

Hello there. I just got this baby from the replacement program. I must say that while i respect your oppinion, i feel like the scrolling is done really easy, not at all like you're making it sound to be. Even if you have problems with scrolling, you can always scroll via the letters on the right and jump right where you want.

Just saying this is NOT in my oppinion a problem AT ALL.

Other than that the music sounds perfect, and i'm really loving the new NIke + feature.

Eh, I like the the new nano. Especially for a watch, with music on on it! It's a great little thing, perfect for exercising, great for the bus to school, fun to have on you. People see it and are just like "wow cool watch... Wow! Awesome iPod! " it's fun to see people's reactions.

I just got this as an upgrade to the Shuffle, not to the previous Nano--as TechnoBuffallo suggested, for the gym. To me it's an ideal, substantial upgrade on the Shuffle, and I think the video should have made that point much more strongly.

I don't really care about the missing features. I only ever wanted a device that would play good music. I didn't want internet access or a camera or anything, just a device to play music with that wouldn't be too inconvenient. The iPod Nano is simple and easy, even if it's a little inconvenient to navigate.

If you're just looking for a simple, easy device to listen to music with, then it's great for you. If you're looking for more stuff, then probably not. Just like you said.

They call it the new iPod nano but it's really a new iPod shuffle (small, square, clip on the back). They just completely stopped making the other series of nanos (ones with camera) and gave the shuffle a new name, which I find odd

ipod earbuds are crap. i suggest getting actual headphones, much better for your ears and much better sound quality. the ipod looks cool but seems to lack the functionality of its predecessor, the 5th gen. still the touch screen and watch functionality seems cool although i would have called it the ipod touch mini and not the new nano. i'd say it's a good buy if you're not upgrading :)

I have used two of these recently and the battery makes it nearly worthless. It's advertised that it can play music for 24 hours but it can't. It can stay on or in stand by mode for 24 hours, but it plays music for less than 3 hours. I go for a 1.5-2 hour long walk and the battery is just about dead before I'm done. I traded it in for classic ipod, 32 gb. I only have to charge it once a week and I use it 2-3 hours per day.
